The administration and every staff at the clinic are all super! Understanding, professional and actively listen.
Dr. Iskander is our family physician, wonderful on all levels, we know we are in excellent hands! My kids say he is their super hero! He listens and doesn't dismiss their concerns.
Dr. Iskander is an asset to our Healthcare system.

Making me pay $70 to transfer my medical records to my new doctor with a USB. I told them to send it electronically but their staff doesn't know how to do that securely in 2023. Lol.

My family and I have been patients at Abbey Medical Centre for 25 years: Dr. Mittler, Dr. Kerr and now Dr. Morcos and each transition has been smooth, and services improved. Because of Dr. Morcos' care and thoroughness, we've remained patients at the clinic after moving from Oakville to downtown Toronto.
Kindness of receptions and willingness to assist are above standard expectations even when clinic is super busy.
Must admit, the only person I do not feel tense when taking a blood test is by a nurse there.
I do recommend the Abbey Medical Center with full trust.

This place is insane. I made 30 phone calls this morning. No answer or the receptionist hang up as soon as she spoke the first word.

I tried going over but despite being registered they refused to see me saying that I had to book appointment. They did not even try to accommodate me. If the receptionist had tried and said that nothing is available, I would not have given the rating. I think they are happy with patient inflow and don’t care about individual circumstances.

I am very happy that I found this great doctor! My last doctor retired and I was faced with finding a new GP. I found Dr. Iskander and I am very happy with his approach. He is very professional and has a very understanding and caring attitude toward his patients!

We live in the neighbourhood and have been visiting this clinic for nearly 10 years now. Always a good experience and very handy to have this medical practice nearby when required.

Dr. George Iskander is a very cool, caring and compassionate Doctor. I am so glad that he is now my doctor. All of his staff is very professional caring and accommodating. Dr Iskander is extremely professional and a has a kind ear. He is also clearly experienced with the needs of longterm mental health concerns from the perspective of a GP.

I transferred to this practice circa 2002, when Dr. Kerr, my M. D, transferred here from his former practice, where I was his patient. Dr. Kerr retired a year or two ago and I have never adjusted to the new setup. Within a 5 day period I received 3 text and 3 telephone computerized reminders before my appointment which was the last straw, because I had told them prior that I didn't want, or need, any reminders. Any appointments made are immediately put in my Calendar app.in my Smart Phone. The office manager (Dina) did not adhere to my request. Time to move on and invoke an exit strategy, which I have done, with no regrets. Move on from any association where you are not respected and taken seriously.

This place is not professional, I had 3 emails a text and a phone call all stating I would be seeing Dr. Guirguis. Once at my appointment the receptionist told me guirgus is not excepting new patients and treated me very poorly about it. I agreed to see Dr. Iskander and fully regret this during are meet and great the man did not make eye contact with me once, he had no compassion for my mental health. After getting test results back saying there is no issue he refused to try any other test to find the problem and finds it perfectly normal and exceptaple one of his patents is having breathing issues. Most doctors would want to help people and try and solve the problem this is not one of them.

Just called asking if they are taking any walk-in as they are listed to be a walk-in clinic. They are very direct to say NO. Even a little bit of politeness /empathy definitely helps especially if you are working in healthcare sector.

Dr Morkos is the worse Doctor ever she abandons patients that need her care and she has no care for human life, she is rude and unprofessional and she should be taken off the Ontario college of Physicians she leaves her patients to die

Awful. I called and asked specifically if they were taking new patients to which the lady at reception replied yes and we talked for 3 minutes in the phone as I told her I'd be coming in 15 minutes. She told me that was fine and we discussed all the details as I told her I would be a new patient and she said to come and they would get me registered and then let me see the doctor to take a test. I live in another city so it was out of the way but she sounded promising. I got there and they completely denied talkimg to me on the phone and when the doctor asked if she had called she lied and said that she had not told me to come, even though I have the proof if the 2 minute call. Worst experience and she was extremely rude. Wouldnt even reccomend 1 star but 0 isn't an option.

I can't believe the recent negative reviews. I think people are getting a little too entitled and demanding. This clinic has been mine for over 10 years. They are always busy - every clinic is - but I bring a book or my phone and settle in for the wait. The staff are lovely, although I miss Dr. Begin - who hopefully will be coming back soon.

I registered at Abbey Medical Centre as a new patient and saw Dr George Iskander. The receptionists were very nice and polite and I didn’t have to wait at all; although waiting at the doctors’ offices is to be expected because some patients do need a longer time than their appointment slot.

Dr Iskander was very thorough; he gave me a lot of his time and discussed all my medical issues in detail. I found him to be very knowledgeable and highly competent. He was very empathetic, compassionate and kind. I am a doctor myself and have been an examiner for postgraduate doctors for many years. Had Dr Iskander been my examinee, I would have given him full marks.

Dr. Morkos is great caring family doctor, my wife and me are so blessed to have her as our family doctor.

Generally you see a doctor at a walkin for about 10-20 mins. Here you wait 1+hours to see the doctor for 10 mins. This is with 2 people ahead of me.

Dr. Kerr has been very good as our family physician for 14 years. We are seeing Dr. Begin more recently and she is very thorough and caring. One area of concern is their lab tech - on three occasions I have experienced poor communication and was rushed with no consideration for questions being answered. On one occasion she missed my vein drawing blood and left a 6"x 2" purple and black bruise down me left forearm

Absolutely love Dr Begin! She makes you feel so comfortable and safe. Always so happy to help with any problem you have have. I see a lot of people complaining about the wait times, but I’ve never had an issue with that. Booking physicals does take a while but I’ve found that’s always been the case no matter which doctors office I go to.

I’ve been a patient of Dr S. Guirguis for over 5 years and this clinic is painful to deal with. With each booked appointment I wait for approximately an hour to see my doctor. When booking an appointment I am usually on hold for at least 10 minutes and I am typically given an appointment within 3-4 weeks from when I call. Some of the receptionist staff can be challenging to book appointments with. I’ve been cut off when explaining what I need, abruptly put on hold and hung up on while on hold. Their customer service and overall kindness is lacking. I understand it’s a busy atmosphere however the quality of service is suffering as a result!

Dr Kerr is simply the best doctor ever, the staff treat you like family, it's going too be hard too replace dr kerr when he retires
