The service techs have always been very professional and attentive to any concerns. They have made themselves available even when it was not a monthly maintenance check.
Should anyone ask for pest control, I would be sure to recommend Abell.
Derek Pacella is presently our Service Provider and has always went above and beyond in dealing with any issues that have arose.

I have the annual plan and they are so responsive and so, so, so, no fuss when it comes to service calls. Sam called me personally to schedule an appt and asked me questions about my concerns. The best is the report that comes the same day, so if I’m not at the property I appreciate being able to read all notes.

I had a large wasp nest that got into a wall of my home causing wasps to enter my living space it was horrible the techs here in Orangeville were amazing lots of support and advice came back 3 times then even sealed up the problem area so happy I chose this company thanks so much Kyle and Abdul

Abell pest control came to my new residence and promptly took care of the pest problem I found. After the first visit I stopped seeing the pests and a few weeks later they followed up with another visit just to be sure. Highly recommend!

I’m just impressed how effective is to use a professional service
I had cockroaches invasion in my home
I tried to kill them by myself and I did some but the problem is with these kind of bugs is just impossible to exterminate all of them
I had for some months these creatures
I wanted to avoid to spend money but it was necessary, after I called many companies I decided to do with Abells Pest control they were the more affordable for me just in one visite the exterminate all of them. I waited 3 weeks to see if I see cockroaches they did a good job not cockroaches anymore

Im thrilled with the outstanding service I received from this company. And how pleased I was with all aspects of their service, from Sara the phone rep as well as both Mike & Craig for their on site professionalism. Listening intently to where the problem was most extreme. Hopefully the earwigs will no longer be a problem. Just a quick message to send you some feedback on your technician Aaron. He came to my house last week to set up some mice traps, and his service was purely excellent: from his professionalism, to his politeness AND thoroughness to inspect the house inside and outside.

He left the house giving me the peace of mind I so needed, and I had to let you know about the fantastic job he did.

Sometimes you find you have unwanted guests in your home. This can be a very upsetting and panic stricken time, this can quickly lead to mental and phyisical health effects. I reached out to Abell and connected with Lucie who was the most wonderful customer service person. We were initially given some outdated instructions from the property owner on how to prep the property for treatment. It was overwhelming. The individual would not have been able to facilitate this on our own. Very quickly Lucie assured me that there were new instructions, much less daunting. She was right! The unit was treated and the resident returned and is "guest" free. Abell is there to solve your problems quickly and professionally. Considering the circumstances this was the most positive outcome we could ask for.

Tyler is the best! He listened to our concerns, provided a thorough/detailed inspection and was very knowledgeable.

He created a great action plan to tackle our rodents and provided us with follow up appointments to track/monitor the progress.

We have hired 2 exterminators before him, however, he has demonstrated superior expert skills, and also cares to take the time to provide you with quality service!

Have used this company for several years and the previous tech took good care of my apartments. Since the change of our regular man things have not really been the same. Charges for inspections when they never use to be, and then call them up for warrantee work on bed bug treatment and they just are not interested in keeping a customer that they have had for over 7 years. Even after I've done thousands in business with them. I guess Darryl who is the regional supervisor and did the spray out of the unit for bed bugs are really not interested in standing up for their service they provided. I'm now using a different outfit that appreciates keeping their customers. I would recommend TK in Orillia.

The technician who services our place is exceptionally good: he informs us the night before of the narrow window when expects to arrive, has always arrived on time, looks and acts like a professional, is consistent every visit, tells us clearly and directly what we can do to avoid pests, identifies any issues, sprays quickly and efficiently, answers any questions, and is obviously very knowledgable about every aspect of the industry. He is no rookie. Shocking in this day and age, we have had the same technician year in and year out since we started with Abell some 12 years ago. I don't see how it could be better. Kudos to "DAVE. Loved the idea of a home protection program. The technician was great. I foresaw a long business relationship with This company in Barrie. Then, the poor customer service came. I called and left a message July 27… no call back. I called again July 28… spoke to someone who guaranteed a call back that day… no call back. I called again July 30, spoke to someone again who promised a call back saying she couldn’t get in touch with the technician. Then she said, let me just book your service after confirming ‘ants’ was covered in my plan. As she was speaking, she noted something about her connection and then dropped the call. She had just confirmed my account and phone number but would she call me back? Nope. So I call again and spoke to someone different who clearly had little in the way of personal touch or service training. She then advised I would get a call back shortly. Nope. Then the long weekend happens. I finally get a call back fro Sarah on August 3…. Sarah is pleasant and is first to apologize for my frustrations. She books me for the ‘ant’ treatment for Aug 19… I hen advises that my plan expired Aug 1… so she will have to bill for plan renewal before they can do the treatment. So, let me get this straight. I have a protection plan that covers an ‘ant’ emergency. Yes. I called multiple times about the emergency while covered. Yes. But because you are busy, and the appointment would be after Aug 1, I’m not covered? Yes. Wow. That’s convenient. When signing up, they tell you how responsive they are… if you have an emergency, just call and we will be right out to fix it. I advised Sarah that this was not acceptable and gave Abell Pest Control a chance to do the right thing or lose my business. Sarah advised the best she could do would be to see if we can get an earlier appointment… but it would not be covered. I asked to cancel my plan. She did. Done. Customer gone elsewhere. Crazy business model… I have no problem renewing my plan but it was the principle of not honouring coverage when the emergency and calls were while I was covered. Other than that experience, I actually was happy with them. But service rules above all else for this customer.

Update: Received a call from Barrie branch. Very pleasant and professional customer retention call. I wish such offerings had been made while I was still a customer. I appreciated the follow-up. The person I spoke with would have retained me if it were her I had dealt with originally.

Jamie is a very pleasant guy to work with, very responsive, flexible and always on time. He is professional and has a big knowledge. Great with tenants.

Abell has been providing us with a unique sanitizing service that has given us peace of mind during the pandemic. Darryl and the team in Barrie are always a pleasure to work with, helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend their exceptional services!

I had unfortunately been bitten by a black legged tick on my own property & wanted to take some professional actions to help reduce the risk of another bite. Luckily after lab testing ‘my tick’ didn’t carry Lyme disease or any of the other diseases they are known to transmit. One point I learned from the tech was that we were not keeping the grassy area in the rear of the property mowed enough. The tall grass was an ideal environment for the ticks.

Just wanted to complement Darryl on his extremely prompt response to our bird in distress call and on a Sunday morning too! Rooftop rescue complete and bird has been released. Would highly recommend Abell Pest Control Barrie.
