Best dollar store in Thompson, prices are good, all home necessities items available, balloons for birthdays, cell phone accessories, toys, school items,

With No Refund No Exchange policy, need to think twice before buying cheap quality electronics, waste of money.

Very large and a great selection of all the kind of items that you would want and much more diverse selection then Dollarama.

For example we had search eight different stores including all the major brand names and we couldn't find wooden rulers that our son needed for a high school project.

They were absolutely clutch.

Balloons

Went in Friday afternoon to place a balloon order for Saturday and was told I would have to take balloons right then as they were low in helium and they couldn’t say whether they would have helium Saturday. As usual I paid extra for gel to ensure they at least lasted Saturday. Well, I don’t know if they forgot the gel or just very poor preparation because when I went to get the balloons out of the room Saturday, they went half the size and drifting on the floor instead of in the air. Too say I’m disappointed is an understatement and of course you can’t do anything because it is the dollar store. Lesson learned, next time, I’ll go elsewhere! Thanks for the very poor experience.

They steal the things you came in with. Took my groceries and brand name clothes, accusing me of stealing from there.

Staff is not friendly and the store is always a mess, only go in this dollar store if I have to.

A fun dollar store reminiscent of your dollar store with more. Good selection of all kinds of tat and oddities.

It was nice and good stuff at affordable prices. Few things were value for value. One can buy socks and crocs at a good price

Horrible experience. On June 30,2021 my daughter went in to buy some snacks on her own. I didn't check the receipt until after we had arrived home to find a charge on the receipt that she didn't make. A $9.00 charge for 'HELIUM'. The only thing purchased by the her was candy bars and a makeup beauty sponge. Horrible that she was taken advantage of by the store like that. We will never go back there, and I will never recommend anyone to visit there due to this experience.

Overall a good store with a lot of variety. You can find plenty of party items. Everything i’m looking for a good price is here but some of their items are over priced.

Huge variety of products. All Balloons and party stuff available Little bit expensive as compared to dollarama.

So much "Non-Essential" stock that can only be ordered by phone then picked up at the curb. No Web based ordering available. Once we get back to "Normal" this store should be returning to itsformer glory.

Remember to carry a dollar for the trolley at the entrance I didn't have so couldn't shop much. What an outdated system. The store is clean and organized with display of "Discount "prices. If one shops often at other stores than not a discount comparatively.lacks variety in products especially pet food.l don't carry change so won't go there again.

The store is big. Everything i’m looking for a good price is here. But not everthing is reasonable price, sometimes you can get soap from walmart or dollarstore cheaper than here. Some of their items are over priced.

The worst place to shop.
Workers think that they are the boss of the place, they only know to talk in their own language. English nil

So this store is great, I was looking for a cable that should be at any dollar type store. After checking 3 of the dollar type chain places not one of them had the cable I was looking for. So happy this place exists. Thanks again.

Absolute dollar has lots of selection of home goods in their store. What I like about it is that they have a lot of new product for an affordable price. For example I was looking for craft supplies at Michaels but it was really expensive and I was able to find it at absolute dollar (for reef making). They also have a really great party section where you can get helium balloons at an affordable price.the only thing I would say is that the store is a bit cluttered and is very large.

It is the beat Dollar store I know. A lot of variety and big store. I always go there even though I have other stores closer to my home. If you are looking for Halloween stuff, there is A lot of.

Good place to find party-theme supplies cheaper than Party City. Nice collections of all kinds of balloons too, along with arts & crafts stuff, stationery, gift bags, etc. Have bought birthday decor from them a few times, and also had helium-balloons filled by them. The only issue is that they don't do refunds, even if a party got cancelled, they won't return the cash paid for the balloons - they only give a store credit. Other than that, it's a good store.

It is a good place for a quick shop. The sale rep helped me to find what I needed. She went from one corner of the store to the other corner just to show me where that item was. Absolutely fantastic service. Much appreciated, I did not get her name otherwise I'd mention it here.

Went there todsy for a couple of things. One of the was a nail polish, it was dried out and already used. Upsetting

I visited this store today. I was only in there for 5 minutes when a worker came over to me informing me that I need to hurry up. I asked if they were closing and she said no, that people were lining up outside. I was a bit upset and I said isn't that the norm, I have to line up everywhere. I'm not a selfish person but no customer service. I only came into this store because all the dollarama stores had long line ups.

Price gauging during Cov19 epidemic, face masks individually packed in ziplock bags (therefore contaminated) for $4 each. So wrong. Karma

Price gouging during a national crisis. Despicable and ILLEGAL. Avoid this place at all costs, especially if you have elderly or very young family members.

Went to this store today. They do have hand sanitizer. $6 for 230ml. A lady infront of me asked how much it was before and they said $2 per bottle. They are also selling paper thin face masks. For $4 each. Are you kidding me! They are packaged in a zip lock bag. These people are completely taking advantage of people. See pic for proof

Shame on you for jacking up the prices on your hand sanitizer. For all we know these could very well be fake sanitizers that do nothing against the virus. Your face masks that you're selling sure aren't sufficient enough to block the virus.

Variety of items, quality is similar to that of a dollar store. Do keep in mind that not everything is a dollar. Lost one star because they price gouged some items during the pandemic.

This place is horrible! They have jacked up their prices on essentials during a crisis. They also refuse to sell essentials to some races!

So today i stopped here at absolute dollar in Milton ontario. These people are totally taking advantage of others. For a 230ml bottle of hand sanitizer they want $6. For the same bottle they used to charge $2. I heard them tell a lady that because she asked. Now here's what is really bothering me. They are selling paper thin face masks that will do nothing to protect you. You may aswell tape a napkin to your face. In order to maximize profits they are opening a box and placing them in a zip lock baggie. So those are now not sanitary anymore. They are selling those for $4 each! Please help me make them famous for ripping people off

For a dollar store, the prices are a bit higher then what I would expect. And the manager was scolding an employee for being late, on the floor where customers could hear. I felt that to be very unprofessional and could have been handled better.

The worst dollar store I have been in, prices are completely put of whack compared to other dollar stores, they should be a role model for price gouging. Not worth the visit.

You can get aný colour of the rainbow in party supplies.table cloths, paper plates, plastic cutlery, serviettes and balloons.good helium balloon prices and service, FANTASTIC craft selection. Assorted items, some pricier for a dollar store. All in all, place to go if you're having a party!

Nice selection of items but a dollar store is suppose to be a 1 or 2. I found the items to be a little expensive for the quality

Great selection, more so than your standard dollarama. I bought everything I needed for a small event including some extras. Place is organized and relatively clean which is unusual for a budget store. I always appreciate cleanliness and organization. Skip dollarama and give this place a try.

Wow. I came into this store to get my balloons for my neice birthday. The girl who was doing them was very nice. I then took my receipt up to the front to pay. The lady who serived me didnt even talk to me. Didnt even tell me my total and just place the debit machine in front of me. Then i just payed. After paying for my stuff. The she through my reciept on the counter. This by the way was not a teen this was a lady in her later 30s or in her 40s.
Im very disappointed in this service and i will not return. If you are in customer serice you need to communicate with customers.
