I am extremely happy with the progress that my son has had since he started in September. He went from not being able to write his name to writing small words with the practice that the tutors have been giving him. I recommend their program.

We are incredibly delighted to have discovered this wonderful academy. Our daughter was behind in her reading and writing and had been experiencing considerable challenges developing interest in both areas. However, since enrolling at the Academy for Mathematics & English at the beginning of summer, we have witnessed a remarkable improvement in her reading and writing skills. Ilona and all the tutors are just fantastic and keep the work interesting and engaging for the kids. They know exactly what our son’s strengths and weaknesses are, and tailor his curriculum to get the best results and most improvement in the weaker areas.

My son was 4 when he started at the Academy. He didn’t enjoy reading and would get frustrated. My husband and I tried everything. Books, apps, even a leapfrog but nothing worked. I was just looking for something to put a positive spin on reading but never imagined he would love and look forward to his lessons like he did. The instructors provide detailed feedback in a binder at every class. My husband and I really found that helpful but what really matters is how my son would show off his stickers and comments beaming with pride after each class. His reading has improved noticeably as had his confidence and patience with trying new words.

We had a detailed assessment before we signed up to determine his personalized lesson plans and he progressed at his own pace each week.

If you’re looking for help teaching your child to read, or even just enjoy the process of reading, this is the place to be. I would 100% recommend the Academy to everyone I know

Having worked as an English tutor at this location, I highly recommend it to those wanting your child to excel in Math and English. It is a wonderful facility with an excellent support system that pushes all students toward success, and great for both students who want to learn and those who have yet to find their joy in learning.

Wonderful place to work for Miss Ilona is darling person. Way of explaining the concepts to children is too good. Really wonderful place to learn new things.

Great Academy at Whitby! This academy has a unique way to teach kids to master their skills, "Super Reader Program '' for young readers is one of the best, it helps and enables the little one reading. Amazing team and staffs.
