My son's 11th-grade experience at the "Academy for Mathematics and Sciences" was outstanding. The dedicated tutors helped him excel in math and chemistry, offering attention and empathy. They conducted effective tutoring, simplifying complex concepts. The Academy's environment fostered growth with top-notch resources. Thanks to them, my son improved his grades and developed a passion for these subjects. I highly recommend this place for quality education and support, evident in all students' progress.

I signed my daughter up for the Super Readers program last spring. She was in Grade One at the time and, while she was learning at school, she was still struggling and wasn't particularly receptive to extra reading work with me:) I have seen a marked improvement in her reading since she joined. Even as important, she really enjoys attending- it is never a challenge to get her to go. She loves the teachers and the program generally and it has changed her attitude towards reading. She is soon coming to the end of the program and, while I had really just intended to sign her up for Super Readers, she has asked if she cans continue on with tutoring after it ends!

I was a student at the academy and my experience was horrible. I was tutored in grade 11 math by a tutor who was a highschool teacher, and he, on multiple occasions, taught me the wrong methods and gave me the incorrect answers. I spent much of my time arguing with him, just for me to be right. Moreover, the cost is very expensive, more expensive than a private tutor, but there are four students in each one hour class. The tutor only spends around 15-20 minutes with each student, for a very very expensive fee. It was NOT worth the money or time. I’m sure that for elementary subjects the tutoring service is more adequate, but for my honest experience doing high school level math, it was bad.

My 11-yr old daughter was begging for help after the pandemic! I reached out to Academy for Mathematics and Science and discovered through the assessment that she was over a year behind in math and language. We quickly enrolled her in tutoring (4 hr/wk) and noticed results almost immediately! Her confidence increased and she began to ask more questions at school after getting a better foundation through the tutoring with the Academy. With five months under her belt, she is getting more A and A+ grades than ever before and teacher feedback has been nothing short of fabulous! I am so grateful to the Academy for their services!
