The staff is excellent and easy to deal with. I rented a unit for over a year and had no issues. The units are conveniently accessible 24/7.

I would not recommend anyone rent a unit here. The manager changed our lock and didn’t tell us which wasted one trip on a Saturday then told us the wrong combination which water a uhaul truck and another trip up from the city. When we called access storage they couldn’t get in touch with the manager. Told us they’d call us back with a solution and never did. This place is horribly managed

Easy process, all done online. Showed up from out of town and our storage unit was easily accessible and ready to load.

First time having to rent a Storage Unit. I was greeted with a friendly smile from both Lori and Sean. Lori was very helpful. She answered all my questions. She made sure I was aware of all the details and where my unit was located. My experience at Access Storage was amazing.

Lori & Shawn went above and beyond communicating with me via email and phone while I was on the road dealing with my move. Moving is always stressful, but they beared that part of the weight for me, and followed up consistently (not irritatingly) to make sure all the terms, agreements and directions were clear, and were super helpful in offering me advice and getting the best value on my storage space

The unit was well protected. Nothing ever got stolen nor did I ever feel not safe leaving my stuff.

Shawn and Lori went above and beyond to secure a spot for me. It was great to do business with them and they kept me updated as what was going on with regards to getting a spot.

I had a storage unit of all of my belongings in a storage unit on 95 Gibson, for a while over a year and I had finally saved up enough money to buy a house. Now that I own my house and I have all of my belongings most of my things were ruined and mouldy, I contacted access storage and they wanted pictures and a worth on the items I had a problem with, I found many more after proceeding to try to claim the insurance I paid for the entire time renting my unit. Since sending access storage hasn’t contacted me once, I’ve sent numerous emails and called plenty of times all with no answer. Claiming they’re “under construction so it’s hard to answer a phone or email” which sounds ridiculous.so now I’m left with a house with barely any furniture, my dresser, couch, chair basically anything in that unit was ruined, between water, rodents and insects getting in I don’t have anything to live with. And I just keep waiting for a reply to get what I’m owed and it’s feeling more and more like it’s not going to happen, it’s been nearly 2 months… don’t go with access storage, you’re better if leaving your stuff in a bush.

If your open on Saturdays and Sundays you should actually be open. Updated 5 days ago by the company apparently.

We were moving up to the area and had no place to store our belongings until the house closed. Lori was very pleasant to deal with on the phone and put our name on a list for a unit. Within a few days we got the call and starting bringing things up to the unit. The facility is clean and secure. We felt confident in leaving our possessions there. I would recommend Access Storage on Gibson to anyone who needs a storage unit. The customer service and secure location provides for a great overall experience.

I went in looking to price a few units, was super pleased with the cost but also super impressed with the manager? Lori? Super helpful and will be back Thank You!

The service was amazing! From getting into a unit too emptying it.was a very enjoyable experience! Climate controlled so my stuff stayed dry and moisture free for the 4 months I was there! Very happy!

Staff is amazing and facility is dry and secure. They are on a 4 week payments and do prorating when moving out. I have stored at a monthly facility in the past and they charged me a whole month when I only needed the unit for one week. I would 100 % reccomend Access Storage. Thank you for making this so easy. I have since moved out but will return if I need storage again.

Poor experience. No payment plan options only monthly payments and late fees are outrageous. Upon pick up of my unit all my furniture was wrapped and still full of mice urine and droppings and dead mice in my furniture. Live ones ran away as I emptied my unit Wood furniture destroyed and unreplaceable items ruined of urine. Contacted them and was accused I had food in there as a wrapper was in there. Which I didnt not place. Getting run around.was a small hole at back of unit. All storged was furniture washer dryer and boxes of glasses etc. Not recommended.

FELLOW STUDENTS, DO NOT GO HERE. They will steal from you! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, website mentions that they will “hold unit for free” however they DO NOT stick to their word on this and I was charged a $28.00 “administrative fee” to hold the unit PRIOR to even renting a unit from them. Called the next morning to ask for a refund and was told that the fee was non-refundable as my 10 minute call was considered “an administrative expense”. Not even legal experts charge that amount for 10 minutes. Absolutely unbelievable customer service, and the manager did not even have the decency to contact me back themselves, rather, had the same unhelpful employee return my call which of course, achieved nothing.
To any fellow Nipissing students looking to store your stuff over the summer I STRONGLY urge you to take your business elsewhere after reading these horrible reviews.
