We tried all 3 wraps and all 3 were delicious! Everyone was quite in the car eating! Lol Great food and service! I highly recommend.

Been a regular at Ace shawarma for a while now - great spot for halal burgers, and they have a pretty solid options for shawarma / tikka wraps and plates! Can wholeheartedly recommend!

I love ace shawarma but dang did it ever get expensive. I paid $23.50 for a “medium” shawarma poutine. It’s so tiny. And this used to be the box they used for smalls back in the day when it was like 7$ jeeez. I honestly think it’s way too expensive when there’s so many shawarma places that are just as good for cheaper in the area. I did get extra sauces on the side- they charge 2$ for each one.

I just went today with my kid idk why the reviews are so bad maybe the owners changed very clean and friendly staff there poutine is the best absolutely amazing will be going very often

Tried shawarma and felafel wrap yesterday, I must say it is 100 times better than what we get in Toronto, Mississauga or Brampton…. One of most useless outlet of shawarma in GTA is lazeez, but was happy after I had shawarma from this place I would like to give 8.8out of 10

Horrible customer service. Waited 30 minutes for a fast food kebab meal, that was not tasty; order did not come completed, as I have asked few times for extra poutine. Sorry, one of the worse experience for our group!

Just wanted to say I popped in to pickup lunch from your Cambridge location today. It was my first time and was so happy I stopped by! Food was phenomenal, so much selection and a special thank you to the wonderful staff. We just live around the corner and can’t wait to come back for some more chicken shawarma. Thanks again!

16 dollars for a shawarma is insane. I understand that costs have gone up but this is too much. There are so many other restaurants with great quality of food however they keep their prices reasonable. I used to come here often and it was reasonably priced and food was good but wow everything on your menu is insanely priced and a lot of people have noticed and put it on the review. I called yesterday and spoke to someone who was extremely rude. Customer service should be exceptional which unfortunately this place doesn’t have. Just get offensive. Your food is decently good but with high prices and bad customer service.

Have gone 5X now to the Cambridge location since its opening day. Opening day was wonderful.good fast service great value great taste. Since then I have gone once a week. I tried the Shawarma Cheeseburger.tasteless.meh. I had chicken Shawarma.great, tasty, one of the best I have ever had and I've had alot. Next two times I ordered in.slow.took more then 15 mins to get food.young lady on cash in almost slow motion.no hustle.no smile.looks like she doesn't want to be there. Today tried the falafel meal. I ordered online so I wouldn't have to wait.it was ready on arrival. Aame girl on cash does not even want to look at you.not good value salad looked more like garnish.very little rice.but 10 falafel and they were good.
Tips. 2 people on cash.that girl needs to improve her customer skills. I might give 3 stars but of 5 visits only 2 were good.

Can't say that I will ever be back to ace. Just paid $17 for quite possibly the smallest chicken shawarma plate I have ever had in my life. I knew I was going to be disappointed as soon as I picked up the bag.

Edit: after finishing the shawarma plate I wasn't any more satisfied. Bland rice bland chicken now I see why they encourage you to put all the sauces on top. With all the other shawarma shops in town, I don't know why anyone would choose this one.

Really messy, but really tasty. It didn't look pretty but it hit the spot. Would have liked a bigger portion for the price of the Shawarma meal (chicken, rice, salad and both sauces for $14.99) but it was our only option for local night spot shawarma takeout. If it was more in the daytime or earlier in the evening, we would not have chosen this place for takeout. We would have gone to East Side Shawarma for better value for "hole in the wall" shawarma, or a fancier place for a better looking dish. But we did gobble up the meal. I was a bit taken aback having to pull chicken skin off of my shawarma. It was at if they were using skin on chicken pieces. I'm still giving it a decent 4* rating because the sauces and the taste of each element was really tasty. Hit the spot.

Store is dirty staff are rude and do not seem to know whats going on 2 people in front of me and waited 30 mins to get a chicken shawarma wrap they seemed to be more concerned with drivers picking up then the customers in store wrap was boring and tasteless found a huge peice of slimey chicken skin in it was very unappealing and turned me off threw it away after that also on the high end of price for shawarma can definitely get better for lower price maybe try again and get a burger as they looked good but for shawarma I'd suggest going else where

Ordered take out and it showed up with no utensils, no napkins, I guess they want you to eat with your hands and wipe them on your shirt.
Tiny portion. Not even hot sauce, they use BBQ sauce instead. Way better places in town Never again that's for sure

First time I visited this place with my colleague and ordered meal. It was fresh and tasty meal. Little expensive though but if quality good, then money does not matter.

I love a good shawarma and I have never heard of Ace, so I decided to stop in today.

What I liked:

Service restaurant was bustling with takeout orders and they still managed to get my order out on time. Staff was friendly and looked focused on getting out their orders. Daily specials are also a bonus.

Presentation this was probably what I liked the most. The salad was in a separate compartment than the rest of the meal. It wasn’t overdressed either. Shawarma and rice wasn’t overly sauced either which I appreciate. Compared to similar restaurants they don’t load you up on rice but the serving seemed to be the perfect lunch amount.

Flavours lots of flavour on the shawarma side. Salad dressing could have been better but overall decent.

What could’ve been better?

Menu simplified menu but aside from the chicken shawarma, nothing stood out to me. They have Kebab in their branding but offer (1) lamb option. Maybe get rid of that and do (2) things really well, shawarma and burgers. ‍️

Indoor Dining very limited indoor dining. Booth seating cushions have lost their support so if you are not very tall, you may have issues.

Overall, I would return to Ace to try the burger and I suggest you try this restaurant if you are in the area!

Didn't really like their salad. The veggies were a bit wilted. I did like the actual toppings. Maybe try the other menu items!

We had take out from Ace last night (Kitchener to Cambridge) and I was pleasantly impressed at how well the food was packaged to keep it hot and fresh! The onion rings were crispy and the cheese burgers were still warm and not greasy at all! Amazing work by your staff at Ace, kudos for making our Christmas eve party a wonderful success! Thank you

Ace Shwarma never disappoints us. The fries are to die for, always fresh, hot and crispy! The shawarma wraps are packaged perfectly, fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to be back again!

Awesome falafel wrap. Toppings were fresh. The employees were very funny. Bathroom could use some sprucing up but hey, it is still DTK.

The service here is amazing, the employees are very friendly and welcoming. The food was great, we tried their chicken tikka poutine and shawarma cheeseburger, both items were very unique. The poutine was amazing! The shawarma cheeseburger was a bit greasy but good regardless. Their lotus biscoff & Oreo cheesecakes are the perfect dessert! The best I’ve ever had! I went to Ace last night and was greeted by the kindest employee. I was torn between two menu items and he asked if he could help me decide.
After hearing his description of the Chicken Tikka Wrap, I was sold. I also ordered a medium shawarma poutine.

My food was prepared quickly and I was on my way within about 10 minutes. While waiting, I sort of overheard the employees singing along to the music and having a pleasant conversation. They all seemed so friendly and gave off warm vibes.

I devoured the poutine right away and was too full after it to even try the wrap.
I did bring the wrap to work with me and heated it slightly on a Foreman grill. I wasn’t expecting much since it was a day old, but my goodness! The day-old wrap was still THE BEST wrap I’ve ever had.
I can’t wait to go back and try it again fresh, as well as other items on the menu.

Open till 2am on Friday and Saturday. So a great option to get shwarma, poutine or wraps late night. I wish they could be open on other days too.
My fav.chk shwma meal.enough portion size for 2 if you are just looking for late night hunger strikes.

It was good in taste but i felt expensive for the amount of meat they serve, i tried twice and in both cases meat is very less, all i see is more fries.shawarma meat felt bit dried, which we can see in the picture added.please try to provide good amount of meat for that price. There is no proper food maintenance as we can see in the picture no hair net while preparing food for the other guy and no face mask even during this covid times.what if something happen to all of us

The shawarma is good but the tikka plate is the dish to get if you can wait a little longer. Haven't tried the burgers but the fruits are great. They used to have a Malai tikka dish that was awesome but I don't think many people even tried it so it's gone now

This place is located at Kitchener downtown few blocks away from Kitchener city hall. This place servers halal, so if anyone looking for good halal shawarma place, this is the spot you can grab a good lunch/dinner at an affordable rate.

I had a lamb lamb shish kebab plate. Firstly, I noticed that the place is very clean. Secondly, the restaurant workers provide good customer service. I placed my order and was told it will take 10 mins to prepare my meal. As they had promised, I received my lunch takeout in 10 mins, so the food delivery is on time as well. The lamb shish kebab came with rice and I choose fries on the side. The lamb was tasty, tender, and juicy. The yellow rice was well cooked and the fires were crispy to eat. If I visit Kitchener again I would revisit this place and this time try a different kebab or a burger dish!

I asked for rice to be on one side and shawarma on the other side of that 1 box not on top of each other.they couldn't do it they gave me many excuses.either they were too lazy or I found out how little meat they put to deceive the customer.never ever ordering from them again

I visited Kitchener for the first time n this has been the best shawarma I have ever had in Canada. Their lamb kebabs are out of the world n if u have a sweet tooth then do try their cheese cake variety as well. The service here is awesome, our server, I guess Mohit, did a wonderful job in serving a special dish to our toddler boy too. Highly recommend this place. Wud surely visit again.

Went into labour and had my baby less than 5 hours after eating the tikka poutine and double cheese burger here. 10/10 it was delicious also

A clean place to enjoy some of their mouth watering meals. I recommend it for the hold family, and even has patio too.

One of the staff member the guy with beard in the morning today aren't wearing the mask plus the food wasn't fresh at all.

We moved all day and needed food at midnight. We got a Chicken Tikka plate, a poutine and a burger with those most delicious dessert thrown in for spending a certain amount. Loved everything we'll be back.

They have bell pepper in the shawarma wraps and the taste is quite different then any Shawarma I have ever eaten, just chicken and salad wrapped in bed.
Service: Asked for no pickles in one but I guess this was forgotten even after a confirmation while receiving the order.
Parking was a 100 meter away, and on reaching the car we found out that the cutlery was not included, had to walk back for them. Single star is for service, Taste might suit someone else.

New owners to the location, they have made the food 100 times better. The guys who run the shop are fantastic and are amazing to deal with.

Ordered through UberEats. The lamb wrap was delicious. The chicken shawarma platter was okay. However, I was disappointed in the fries. They were supposed to be crispy and instead were soft and a bit moist. I found the extra cost for the seasoned fries was not worth it.

Ace has the best shawarma in all of KW. Their meat is unbeatable, the vegetables delicious, and sauce just the right level of spice. Alongside my shawarma wrap was a basket of some of the best fries I've ever had. Their building, while small offers more seating than most shawarma restaurants do. The seats are comfortable and the tables clean. I would highly recommend Ace's if you have a craving for shawarma or even if you're just looking for a place to get lunch.

Awesome menu selections and they're always updating it to keep things fresh. I dont usually have to wait long for my meal but if I do, its always worth it!

Unprofessional staff and very dirty place and bad food
Putine is awfull and I threw all of it out and when I mentioned my concern they take aggressive side and want to fight with me and said I'm a lier their food has no issue so you can see how unprofessional the staff are and you can see I just mentioned my idea.

The best Shawarma Poutine and Chicken Tikka i've ever had! I cannot recommend this place enough. So sad I live in Toronto and can't have this every day. Unbelievably good and generous portions with fresh meat/fries every time! If you're ever in Kitchener/Waterloo area it's a must try!

I've been to this place an embarrassing amount of times. I always get the shawarma plate, but I've heard the poutines and burgers are great too.

Chicken is way juicier than other Shawarma places around. Rice is always perfectly cooked. The 3 sauces are amazing, especially the hot sauce. Most places have hot sauce that are hot for the sake of being hot, but the one here is hot and tasty, basically the best hot sauce I've ever had.

Gets busy over lunch, it's a popular spot. Expect to wait a few minutes. It's worth it.

Fast, friendly, efficient service and delicious food-couldn't really ask for more. I liked my falafel wrap more than my shawarma wrap as I found the garlic sauce in my shawarma wrap a bit too sweet for my taste, but my guess is that that's down to personal preference:)

Ordered an orginal poutine no meat and my order took about 25 minutes.
The store had a few customers, and was not busy at all.
Workers were standing around and talking instead of preparing my meal.
Food was great though, no complaints there.

I used to go to Ace Shawarma quite often up until a year and a half ago when I moved and left a job downtown, it was my go to shawarma place for lunches. I just visited this week for the first time since, after seeing their instagram show new seating, new menu (with a new one to come in the new year), and always posting about this shawarma burger. I'm so glad I finally tried it! The burger was amazing - fresh burger smashed on the grill with fresh ingredients and bun, perfectly crispy french fries and a can of pop for a reasonable cost. Honestly one of the best burgers I've had in a while, the shawarma on it was so good. I can't wait to go back again in the new year and see the new menu they have planned and try to visit more often again!

I don’t know what I just ate but it definitely was not my idea of a shawarma. I’m pretty sure the chicken had curry on it and the sauce tasted more like mayo and ketchup than garlic and hot sauce. For 10$ I truly hoped for better. I should have gone to the hasty mart on Charles like I usually do. Wow. Not impressed maybe for people that don’t know what real authentic shawarma is they can be impressed but not me. That was whack a North American shawarma at best.
