Aches Away Toronto Massage Therapy

The parking and building access was convenient. The clinic is well-designed and comfortable. Last week, I had an initial assessment and treatment with Faz for my chronic issue. He was extremely thorough with the assessment procedure, testing my range of motion, muscle strength, posture, and asking about my overall well-being. This thorough assessment allowed him to create a comprehensive treatment plan and assign me appropriate home-care. He prefers to treat over clothes so make sure to wear comfortable, loose clothes. His knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology is commendable. If you’re seeking a therapist for rehabilitation and a detailed treatment plan, Faz is an excellent choice. However, if you’re looking for a quick oil massage, his approach may not be suitable.

Hands down one of the best places to go for massage therapy! I’ve been going to see Anna Sapershteyn for monthly massage appointments, and I can’t recommend her enough! She’s honestly the best massage therapist I’ve ever had! Anna is attentive, thorough and truly cares about her clients!

10/10 would recommend. I booked All the Frills service with Andy not knowing what to expect and boy was I impressed. During and after the session I was in disbelief. I have never had anyone pay such close attention to my problem areas and give solutions on how to improve. Andy was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Andrew Dubé is simply the best massage therapist I have ever encountered. He went through my forms prior to my session, asked me important questions to understand my pain and what caused it, and instantly was able to explain what caused it and helped relieve some of the pain. He also showed me exercises and asked me to record them so I can practice at home. He also suggested he will call me in a couple of days to do a follow-up. Professional. Patient and knowledgable. This is the best experience I have ever had as a patient in a clinic and generally best customer service ever, I’d say. Thank you

She’s always focused on tackling the issues I’m having and does great pre and post massage chats and exercises to track progress through our sessions. Quy is fantastic. He listens to the issues (Back pain) and recommends exercises and stretches based on that.

I have been scheduling massages with Quy for almost a year now. Why? Because he is just so amazing at his craft. Every massage is filled with such deep reverence & respect for where I’m at and what my body, mind and spirit requires on a given day. He is attentive, adaptable and very creative in the ways he is able to relieve built-up pressure and/or pain. He is a great listener and encourages you to co-create your session together so you can get the most out of his service and so he can formulate the techniques he will apply with intention and grace. I go here usually monthly to see either Ranjna or Amy depending on the day! They're both really great and I always feel relaxed. My hip pain improved too and hasn't been an issue since.

The RMTs that I normally see weren't available on the day I was looking for an appt, so I booked with Quy and he is amazing! He was very thorough with the assessment and stretches, and focused on the key parts during the massage. Overall, he made me feel very comfortable during my visit! All my experiences with everyone was unique in good ways! I hope to see them again in the future!

I've seen Kevin, Kam and Jennah over several months (years, with Kevin) and am always wowed by the kindness, knowledge and skill of this team. Quy did a great job at explaining clearly all of the factors related to my clicky sore ankle. Felt smooth mobility after treatment, learned and felt what aligned and supported movement should feel like, and was given very effective exercises to treat and maintain better movement.

Andrew (Andy) is a great RMT and is able to clearly and simply what is happening in the body and how to strengthen it in ways in order to live pain free. I would recommend this Aches Away and Andy to anyone great service

Anna is the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. I’ve been seeing her for many years and despite a long break due to Covid (almost 3 years), she remembered my specific muscular issues and challenges. My back was a mess after two years of working from home, and after one session, I am feeling so much better. She can address tension and knots in minutes (rather than multiple sessions) and demonstrates a great understanding of the musculoskeletal system.

She’s also just a generally nice person and pleasure to deal with. I believe she truly cares about her clients and it shows in the quality or her work.

Although Anna is amazing, I would honestly trust any practitioner at Aches Away. I was originally assessed by the owner Faz years ago (in their old location across the street), and he was one of the most caring health-care practitioners I’ve ever met. I am confident he hires only the best for his clients.

I booked a session with Ioana Nistor and it was absolutely amazing! She's very knowledgeable and knows exactly how to target the areas that are causing pain. She also went beyond what I expected and gave some extra exercises and routines to do at home to help with my shoulder. She even followed up and sent a YouTube video containing some additional routines/stretches. A real healer! Will be going to her again and would definitely recommend her!

If you are dealing with neck, shoulder or back pain then you must book your massage with Amy Ligget. I came in with neck pain, back muscle spasm and mobility issues and her technique and deep tissue massage made all the difference. I have been twice and plan to continue going back. It is a very clean establishment and great service.

Andy is the best masseuse I have seen in over 4 years. I arrived with a sore neck, poor range of motion. I left with no pain and feeling very relaxed and taken care of. Will go again soon.

I would highly recommend Dr. Andrew (Andy) Dube, he is very knowledgeable and I actually learnt a lot of things from him and how by treating you back you can address and fix other health problems. Andy evaluated my shoulder and hip issues, and targeted his treatment to that. Afterwards, he used my phone to video exercises for me so that I could continue to work on it at home. I was very pleased with the results.

This was my first time getting a massage and I have to say it was the best experience I could have ever imagined. Quy Duong was patient, attentive and very welcoming. We had a great conversation about what parts of the body he would focus on and followed up with exercises and stretches to do on my own time. Quy took his time and made sure to walk me through the consent agreement and consistently checked in on me throughout the whole process. Kevin was great. He performed a thorough needs assessment followed by the treatment plan for the day. He explained everything in detail before we began. The treatment was great and we discussed further sessions. The atmosphere is very calm, warm and welcoming. I will definitely be back!

Update: Through excellent communication between Kevin (acupuncture) and Andy (massage) we have been able to create a great care and after care plan that has resulted in successful treatment. They also follow up after each session and are happy to provide additional information and resources to aid in recovery. Proud to recommend them to anyone!

Kevin is a thoughtful and excellent health care professional. I highly recommend accupuncture. He took care of my back pain, tendonitis in my hand, and menstrual migraines in one visit. Go for the cupping if you have back pain, it's worth looking like you've been attacked by an octopus, and the bruises heal faster each time.

Antonina was amazing during our first appointment. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She answered all my questions and made me understand how acupuncture/Chinese medicine works. It was really an eye opener experience and I cannot wait for my next session!

My initial visit to the above mentioned was most satisfactory because
my backache had disappeared as well as my ankles were no longer swollen
After my second visit I do not experience pain and can walk and bend
as before my injury.

Seeing Alok was my first experience with an osteopath. I started to get relief from my TMJ issue within the first day and saw continual improvement within the first 2 weeks. After my 2nd appointment, I am delighted with the relief from the restrictions in my jaw, and the continued healing. I appreciated Alok taking the time to explain what was physically going on and teaching me what I could do to continue treating myself at home. I’m very impressed with this modality and the effectiveness of Alok’s practice.

Faz is a brilliant practitioner who has, in the span of a few years, helped my body HUGELY after a bad car accident. He offers an array of literal tools and hands-on techniques based on how you’re feeling – I love cupping, muscle scraping and active release so much! Accessible location at College Station – wish I could hire Faz to be my personal on-demand therapist forever! SO GOOD!

As a longtime high-level athlete, I always had injuries. Something was always sore or going numb during training and I didn't know why. I was baffled at my first session with Andy. The connections he is able to so quickly make about the composition of your body are astounding, and his advice is revolutionary. In less than a week of following his treatment instructions, pains and pinches that I had lived with for years seemed like they never affected me in the first place. From someone who always seems to be sore and can't put your finger on it to people of all levels of athletic ability - Andy is the choice for you.

I have been here a couple of times now to see Jeniffer for a deep tissue massage!
She is awesome. For being a petite woman, god does she have some strength.
I am someone who exercises religiously, especially HIIT and weight training and don't stretch half as much as I should do! I go in with a lot of knots and she really really helps. Can be somewhat sore but oh so worth it! 100% reccomend!

I love that the Naturopath is focused on women’s health, and I’ve been working with the Osteopath. Great location, really nice looking office that has a calming and zen like effect. Those types of touches I appreciate!

My RMT was Andy, and at the mini consultation before he asked about any particular areas to focus on…and then avoided them completely. I kept thinking he would do them next, but nope. Quite bizarre.

My partner saw Amy at the same time and had a similar experience except he left with a pinched nerve.

I see Andy and he is excellent; very knowledgeable, pleasant and talented at what he does. He always gives me personalized advice to better my posture, muscle engagement and balance. I get myofascial release done and it's amazing. It feels great but at the same time it gets down deep into muscle knots and areas of tightness.

Phenomenal. Unlike other massage therapists he's not afraid to press hard on your body for a wonderful massage. A bit on the pricey side though. Well worth it

I have been getting acupuncture services from Kevin for about 2 years now and have never been disappointed. Appointments are easy to book, the office environment is tranquil and welcoming and the personal attention to care is amazing. I was extremely skeptical of acupuncture before I started going to Kevin. However, he has helped with a persistent knee issue, TMJ and a pestering back issue. He is knowledgeable and extremely professional! 11 out of 10

My husband has varies injuries and been having massages all his life. I booked 90 min massage with Jessica and she was amazing! Then we tried Ami and it was so good that we made it into a weekly thing.
They really know what they're doing!
