After my previous job ended (seasonal assignment), I found myself back at the job fairs and looking up offers. Not to forget, this was made even more difficult by Covid. A colleague mentioned to me about Arvinder at TCET and how helpful they've been. She even gave me Arvinder's number and I dialed in and booked an appointment. From Day 1, I found Arvinder to be very helpful, kind, empathetic and encouraging. She helped to narrow down my fields of interest and pulled up some courses which would help me pursue the same. She was also kind enough to re-work on my resume and called in periodically to check on my progress. It also helped that she sent me emails notifying me of opportunities as they came along. All this and much more, I am very thankful to Arvinder for all the support and guidance and to TCET for bringing together resources which are so immensely useful. Together, you're doing a great job!

Awesome Youth Job Connect program. The topics and workshops covered were of great value. Not only do you learn about professional development, but you also learn about personal development. It is a nice mix of both worlds! I truly feel more confident and prepared with the skills of how to better search for jobs and speak during interviews. A big thanks to the team especially Cherie, Julie, Christian and Teega. They were very professional and helpful. I recommend the Youth Job Connect program to my friends and family that are currently unemployed.

Language Assessment at Centre for Education & Training is an easy step by step process. The staff is very helpful, facility is big and there is ample place for many aspirants to take the exam simultaneously.

Had my language assessment back in December 19; reservation was easily done by phone. People were very professional and flexible (had to change date before the assessment). The test itself was nicely done, didn't face any issues.

Good services are provided to the clients. Help and advice are provided for a better career. I was made comfortable to discuss my plan related to the courses provided by the Centre and jobs available.

I was assigned "Joanna" as my career coach. Due to Covid 19, we talked on Zoom and phone. She was very professional, helpful and caring. She guide me through the interview questions and also helped me to practice them. She also reviewed my resume and linked in profile. "Veronica" was my supporter to edit my resume for more than 2 hours on the phone to fix it. She is so calm, responsible, and nice person during these process. And she asked me if I need any help for my interview questions then let her know as well. Also, she mentioned that any time I can keep in touch with her till I find a good job.

Every one at TCET are not alike and l had some very bad experiences with me The Councellors were non responsive to any support needed after wards and this ended as waste of time

TECT is a great place for newcomers not only to learn how to find a job career, but also to achieve valuable information about Canadian workplace culture. They provide kinds of informative workshops where I achieved the essential skills and resources for job hunting. My career specialist was Angela Wu. She helped me with my resume as well as my interview skills. With her excellent help and training for several times of mock interview, I got enough confidence in interview and finally found my job. One of the best decisions I took after Landing in Toronto in 1st week of March was to get registered with TCET. Through the last 3 month’s phase, not only I got numerous advices pertaining to rules & life in Canada but also members of TCET helped me in kicking off my career. While the entire staff of TCET has be been instrumental in helping me, two people for me stand out above everyone. Firstly, my career counsellor, Saman, who worked constantly with me from the first day I joined. Saman helped me identify opportunities which would match my strengths and thus improved my job search efficiency. He also worked with me on my Resume and helped me draft a crisp, precise and attractive Resume which was as per the Canadian standards. He also engaged me in Mock interview sessions which helped me prepare for all the job interviews I went for. Saman was constantly in touch with me and shared every upcoming opportunity that was suitable for me. Second most important person in TCET for me was Elaine. Her job seeking tips and strategies combined with the perfect Resume worked wonders for me. She not only helped me get a start in the Canadian employment system but also helped me in finding the right accommodation. Always motivating, Elaine guided to me to my first job in the new country. I recommend every newcomer to come to TCET once and get all the help you would ever need. It is because of all the efforts Saman & Elaine took in preparing me as a candidate, I was able to secure my first job in one of the Top Bank in Canada. I had Ana Rangel as a Second Career specialist. She helped me every step of the way to make sure my application was completed correctly at zero chance of bounced back. She was attentive, caring, compassionate, patience, relatable and genuinely wanted to help as much as she could to get me back on track of my life. I can't thank her enough.

Of course i believe that all the reviews here are positive, Indeed TCET in 50 Burnhamthorpe Rd as my experience was there this center is doing great with everyone need its services, great hospitality, very fruitful guidance, very informative, i visited other TCET they also doing great but in the corporate office in 50 Burnhamthorpe Rd there you feel like if the whole team is just standby to help and guide you.i advice strongly the newcomers to go there and all their need will be done. Rachel pellette this is another successful experience you will get, a complete comprehensive strategy to put the job seeker on the right track in addition to a TON (s) of confidence which will fill your self with optimistic feeling where no chance for any disappointment to be exist, her guidance is professional and the trust she creates in the client who is seeking a job is unbeatable.

I was referred to TCET, Mississauga by a friend of mine and my purpose to go there was for employment guidance as I am new to the country. The organization is extremely professional and takes a keen interest in helping out people. I met Ms. Rachel Pellett, she works there as a Career Specialist in the Employment Services department.
I happened to be there a couple of days ago after fixing an appointment with them and I wasn’t disappointed at all. She knew what I was looking for in terms of Job and after clarifying what I have been doing for so many years, it became much easier. She proactively gave tips to start off with and made clear on how to go about with the job hunt. It is of-course a process and it will take time but she gives you a path and also the confidence and realistic hope.
Also, before I reached home, she had already sent me stuff to through on what we had discussed which ensures she is proactive. I would definitely recommend TCET and most definitely Rachel. She has a good idea about the labor market, just mentioning, it plays a role considering my field.

Fully supportive for pr card holders including career counselling but for work permit holders they have limited support like workshops only
