Acqua Supper Club

This place is run by classless idiots that have no business operating something as nuanced as a luxury establishment.

To say this place is a huge scam is an understatement. We were there for Lost Paradise music festival on Saturday July 8,2023. There was barely any sound outside at this club. There were maybe a couple basic speakers that were not even working properly. The sound was cutting off every half an hour. Even when the speakers were working the sound was not clear and muffled while the djs were playing.

We had bottle service reserved for our group. They re-located us three times before we could order our bottles. There are no VIP sections or VIP service at this place. They made us buy “VIP” tickets for every one of us to be able to have bottle service. (You could not even call it VIP, just a label to charge more for below average service). The bottle service was completely separate and over priced for bottles. We ordered four bottles in total and they over charged us on our last bottle, on a $400 bottle they charged us $650.00.

I do not recommend this place AT ALL. I will never ever go back here. The staff and the owner are very rude. No security to search people at the door of this event, they didnt even bother to ask to check bags. Not safe.
Overall it was a messy venue with low quality service.

If I could rate them zero I would.

This was billed as an upscale stylish night out. Unfortunately it was a half empty place full of kids in black T shirts. The amount of smoking on on the patio was pretty bad as well. And $15 for shot of vodka and bit of ornate juice is kind of silly considering the venue.

Beautiful venue, clean and kind people. Came to see DJ Starting from Scratch. It was a fun night and vibe but I wouldn’t recommend drinking at this venue. Alcohol is watered down 50-70% which is disappointing and illegal technically. Otherwise beautiful spot and lots of parking. Has a lot of potential but that’s a big negative and surprising for a Toronto venue.

I had very bad experience on Saturday last week.
The club speakers are worst.
The service is awful. The waitress was so rude. The managment can’t care less for their costumer. Over charge the bottle service always check your credit card when you leave this place. Not recommend it

I visited Acqua on Sunday to see a dj play. I purchased 2 drinks from the bar. However, when I checked my bank account on Monday, there were 4 charges. During one of my two purchases, the bartender stated my card didn’t go through, in which I paid again (I didn’t get a chance to confirm as it was loud and crowded). Please beware of over charging at Acqua during these events. Unfortunately, my friend was also overcharged at the bar.

Intimate outdoor patio with a great view of Lake Ontario. Great spot for hosting an open air event!

Close to Lakeshore if you want to walk after dinner. Lounge set-up with low tables and sofa style seating.full Bar, modern small venue. Reserve seating.

Overall the night was good. The doors opened very late and our VIP booth was not even set up. This was NYE so they knew who was coming. The staff was slow and service was slow. The DJ was lit and that helped sort of take your mind off the terrible start to the night. Small club and you get hot fast I don't think I would go back but I had fun with my crew

Not enough room to dance, instead this place tried to get more VIP service by putting chairs and tables right in the middle of the building. The organizers for NYE was making people wait outside when there clearly was sitting room (they bought tickets too). There was also pointless poker/roulette tables which could have been replaced with a dance area. Drinks are expensive, paying from 12-15$ a beer, and a lack of bartenders. Im deffinately not going back here.

The gnocchi! Great service and food despite being under renovations. They deserve a better rating than they've got at the moment. Maybe just wedding challenges of the past. Meh.

Nice place for some decent Italian food at a good price point. Really good portions as well.

Went here for dinner with one of my girlfriends on Friday after work. The location of the place isn’t the most convenient, and kind of out of the way unless you drive. The restaurant has a paid green p parking lot for those are are driving there. The restaurant was quite empty when we came to dine, maybe because it’s next to the exhibition place so I’d imagine it’d be more quaint during the winter and probably has more traffic in the summer when the exhibition place is occupied.

When we arrived at the restaurant, there was no hostess or anyone to seat us, maybe because they weren’t busy so they didn’t have many staff working. We seated ourselves since it was taking a bit. Once we sat down though, someone came to us with the menu and took our order in a timely manner. The menu options were small but well priced and food portions were big (I couldn’t finish my food). The food was delicious and service throughout dinner was good. We also received complimentary dessert toward the end of our meal, which was a nice touch.

The decor for the place was really nice, very upscale vibes. Definitely a good space for hosting events as well.

I would come back to this place again if I’m looking for a hearty portion of Italian food for a cheap price. Maybe in the summer, since they have a really nice patio but unfortunately we couldn’t check it out this time because it’s winter.
