Action Car And Truck Accessories - Barrie

Ordered in some running boards for my 08 Silverado. The guys tried installing them, but due to the age of my truck, the bolts in the pinch weld being rusted in and lack of ability to safely mount them I was told they couldn't do it. I got a full refund, no questions asked, even though they tried to install them on my truck. I can't fault Action Truck at all for my old truck, and they were great at explaining the issues and possible alternatives. Great service all around even though I didn't get the running boards installed. Product was ordered quickly and appointment booked quickly as well, it just didn't work out is all.

Great customer service and staff. Able to get a lot of parts in quick. If you got money then want to spend it on your truck. It is the place to go.

Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. The manager saw me looking at the displays and came over to see if he could help. When I told him I didn't see what I was looking for on the floor he went over to the counter and found what I wanted. Pricing was competitive. True customer service that is missing nowadays can be found at Action Car and Truck in Barrie. Great experience!

If you purchase any products from this company make sure the local store removes their advertising stickers (if you do not want them) just paid over 3000 for cap for my truck just to notice when I got home plastered on both sides and back window took almost 3 hours to remove their advertising I find it very irritating that companies like this think they have the right to free advertising on the products you purchase last time I checked when you purchase a product it now becomes yours, if you think you deserve to advertise on my product feel free to cut me a cheque monthly for advertising. Now you claim it’s advertising is installed at the factory? Well my warranty papers claim it’s an ARE cap and not ACTION truck cap so someone in your organization made arrangements to have YOUR advertising fixed to the caps to have hard working people advertising your logo for free

Excellent service. My brother used them for an up grade for his truck. Prices were great and staff fantastic. A pleasure to see them at work.

Went back 5times for airbag leak and got major attitude from Justin. He’s all talk! Told me that they would never help me again. Also the install was very sloppy and that is the way it’s done…… where are all the good ol fashion people that cared about the customer and did good work on installs

Great spot if you need accessories or mods for your vehicle. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and prices are fair. They did a great job on my trailer hitch install.

The worst customer service I’ve ever seen.
A customer of mine had my shop put a lift in for him that he purchased from Acton.
Once it was complete it was squatting in the rear because the rear spacers were too small.

He took the truck back to show Acton the issue and they checked my installation even though I’m a mechanic of 25 years and I told them the issue, so the answer he got was it needs time to settle.
A month latter the truck was still sitting the same way. So my customer was told they would looking into it.
Acton would not call him back when they said they would and he would have to call to get any kinda of answer.
I made one phone call to rough country and they explained the issue and sent me the parts it needed to fix it.
My customer then called back to see if action had any answers for the problem and said rough country does not know and is looking into. He then called them out for lying and they told him no worries whatever cost it is to fix the issue they will take care of it.
I had my customer come back and i installed the parts in the understanding Action would be a company of their word and pay me. But three months later I’m getting every excuse not to pay me first it was they want to pay by credit card and now it’s I’m not paying you the few hours labour your asking for and offered a gift card.
I will always take care of my customers unlike Danny and is staff at Acton.

Attended the store today October 26,2022. Spoke with Mike prior to going required a rubber cover for my trailer hitch wiring I had installed there. When he was speaking with me was not sure. He took the time to go and look in the shop and found me one came back to the phone and let me know one was available. Went to the store and picked up the harness cover. Mike and the other gentlemen working there were both friendly and very helpful. It is not often you get this kind of customer service or effort for such a small item so THANK YOU it is appreciated! Anything I need going forward for my vehicles will be purchased from this location.
