Dr. Oongko from Active Family chiropractic is a true professional. From booking my initial appointment to completing my treatment plan, I have felt heard, understood and taken care of by the staff and doctor. Dr. Oongko began my experience at the practise by completing a full assessment and sharing the results with me. He thoroughly explained his observations and what it meant for my overall health. He then devised a manageable treatment plan to get me on track with meeting my goals. As a busy mom of two young kids Dr. Oongko made sure I could access treatments despite my busy lifestyle and schedules. He met with me and my husband so we could be on the same page as I go through my treatments. At appointments my children were able to attend with me so making and keeping appointments was possible. After receiving treatments for 3 months I can say I have definately seen noticable improvements, I am working towards my goals and making progress. I have not been to a chiropractor in over a decade due to lack of trust, and overall dissatisfaction. When I found Dr. Ongko, I went in for a consultation and found myself very comfortable upon arrival. The admin staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I have really enjoyed Active Family Chiropractic. Dr. AJ has been so good to us, especially since we need to bring our baby along. I feel better after our appointments even though I had to take a bit of a break in between because of sickness, etc.

It has been a great experience working with Dr. AJ Pacis. I came in with a real bad neck where I had to turn my whole upper body to look at my blind spot driving a car. My knee was also painful walking up and down the stairs, squatting, and kneeling. After doing an x-ray exam, he pointed out exactly where we would need to focus the treatment. After 3 months of treatments and exercise I can say most of the knee pain has been reduced. I have greater mobility. I can easily walk up and down the stairs. The best part is squatting down is no longer an issue. The treatments are a series adjustments and working in the muscles around the problem areas. My whole family is being treated with Dr. Pacis and the treatments are unique to each individual based on the findings after the exam. If you are in any kind of pain or discomfort, this is where you need to start your journey to wellness!

This has been my first ever experience visiting a Chiropractor and I will admit I was a little nervous, but the entire crew were friendly and Dr. Ongko is awesome! This was my first experience with a chiropractor clinic, and it is a very positive one. Via and the ladies at the front desk are very kind and helpful, they immediately address any questions/issues. The clinic is very clean, it has its own parking space, which is a huge advantage in that location. Dr. AJ always takes the time to listen and gives great advice and recommendations. After months of struggling with chronic pains, I started feeling immediate and steady improvement within a couple of weeks of starting the course of treatment that he suggested.

If you don't think you need a Chiropractor you are probably wrong. Very well organized clinic with minimal wait time. Well thought out treatment plan. I started my treatment in March 2022 and my pain level had significantly decreased. My posture had improved as well.

I was paired with Dr. AJ after being in a car accident. I had a lot of pain in my shoulder and lower back which made it hard to work, sleep and do things I love. After the initial assessment he explained everything clearly and thoroughly before we started the adjustments. Dr. Ongko made a huge difference in the level of comfort I experienced during my pregnancy, unlike my other pregnant girlfriends I did not experience the back pain that is common during pregnancy. When something felt off with my back or pelvis I would let Dr. Ongko know and sure enough after the adjustment I felt aligned and comfortable again. I originally signed up for tension headaches (which also decreased drastically) but I highly recommend him especially for pregnant woman. Dr. Ongko is excellent at what he does, even after I moved out of the city I would drive in for appointments. Not all chiropractors are equally skilled so I highly recommend going with Active Family Chiropractic. It's also worth noting all of the reception staff are absolutely lovely, friendly and always pleasant to interact with which made going to appointments always a positive experience.

Dr. Ongko and front desk staff have been amazing. I was unsure of visiting a chiropractor before I started seeing Dr. Ongko this past July and my experience has been nothing but great. Dr. Ongko is very professional and honest in his findings and will work on focusing on areas you have pain as well as other areas. I was first experiencing a lot of pain in my forearm and wrist having to ice excessively and after letting Dr. Ongko know, he continued to work on this area specifically during every adjustment and although it was not fun for me, it has paid off and I am now experiencing little to no pain in that area. I've had a nagging shoulder pain for many years before coming here. After 2 months of treatments, the pain has significantly reduced and I'm able to move my shoulder more freely. The staff are always so welcoming. Dr. Pacis has been great and the healing journey has only just begun!

After going to another chiropractic center I finally realized how impersonal my visits here were. I was in and out in 5 minutes after a few basic cracks. AJ would barely speak two words and I just felt like a number. I'm not sure if it's because I didn't pay the thousands of dollars of upfront fees and decided to be pay as you go but it was always cold.the front desk reception service is nice but again they prioritize patients that paid the up front fees. They won't even give pay as you go clients Saturday appointments.

My daughter was 3 months old when she was diagnosed with torticollis and a minor curve in her spine. We were doing active physiotherapy with stretches for her neck (5 times a day) but nothing seemed to work as magically as the services provided by Dr. Pacis. We have been visiting Dr Pacis since July 2020 and it is because of his treatment that my daughter is free of torticollis and the curve in the spine. The staff in the office is very professional and I would highly recommend his services for any young children. He was very patient in answering and completing additional research for all our questions as first time parents and provided a duty of care at all times which is not always the case for most services related to health care. My family is very grateful for the kindness and professionalism shown by Dr Pacis during our daughter's treatment. He also worked with us based on my daughter's schedule and was very accommodating. This review is not enough to express how grateful we are. He is truly sent by God

I was recommended to see Dr. Ongko in January 2021 about my chronic sore shoulder (ongoing for about 10 weeks). I had acupuncture which gave relief but the pain did not go away.
My impression and experience for the past two months:
First visit was a comprehensive thorough examination; Xray and assessment at a very reasonable fee.
Dr. Ongko is professional; knowledgeable and compassionate. He takes the time to study my case.
Highly efficiently run office with friendly caring staff, Heather, Evita and any one else at the reception who knows each visitor by name.
Even though each treatment is only about 10 minutes, there is no sense of rush. I am impressed by the efficiency and I appreciate the warmth and positive energy at the clinic.
After three weeks of treatment (3 times a week) and suggested exercises taught on a Saturday by Dr. Ongko during a virtual session, the pain is almost gone.
I am motivated to keep up with the exercises and stay on a maintenance schedule with Dr. Ongko for many years to come.

its been just over a year since I have been under the regular care of Dr. Ongko, I can say that I am sleeping better, less back issues and more energetic.
