Great service and they keep you in the loop with the progress. After my recent service I heard a strange sound. I took the car back and they fixed it at no charge (since it was something that was part of the initial service.). This is my second car I have taken to Green and Ross over the years and always had impeccable service.

I left my vehicle there while I was at work for an oil change. Ended up needing a bit more but Chris and Randy gave me regular updates and did a detailed inspection. They were honest with me in terms of what needed to be done right away and what I could hold off on or keep an eye on.

Bought some tires and rims here and had an exceptional customer experience from start to finish. Having a guy like Randy as the face of your business is such an asset. Professional, personable, great with communicating back and forth, and humorous on top of all that. What more can a customer ask for?

Nothing but positives to say. Randy is kind, funny, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. He makes taking your car in for work a pleasant experience. Mechanics are amazing too - they even came to rescue me when my parking brake wouldn't go off, and I was stuck in the rain at Fairview Mall. Highly recommend.

Really excellent location. The Owner (I think, Chris) is super nice, straight forward and fair. He makes my wife feel comfortable when she's dealing with them and gives all the information, repair options and pricing with no pressure. This is now my go-to place for any automotive issues. Update 12/29/2022. Got the tires changed over by Randy that usually runs the shop and he’s just the nicest guy. Recommended a reasonable workaround for an a/c leak. Just exactly what mechanics should be.

I really appreciated their professionalism and how they were all approachable and kind. I went in with a screw in my tire. It wasn’t repairable and they were able to satisfy me why with explanation. They gave me a quote for how much the tire replacement would be and that price was what I paid at the end. I missed the cut off time by 10 minutes to order a tire for same-day arrival but they still were able to get the tire delivery within 3 hours- really impressed with that. They installed the new tire within 20 minutes of me returning to the shop and it was an overall good experience.

I will go here in the future and will recommend to others.

My experience wasn't great but. I was having a bad day and I don't like to leave bad reviews. I prefer smaller shops with more personal service. This place is very professional and by the book. If that's what you're looking for, then go here.

Beside the Serpentine Belts and Stabilizer Bar, I was very pleased with the honesty that the cluster lights was not an issue. The light problem was resolved when the switch was turned on. When dealers are honest with customers, customers do come back and also pass on the quality of service to friends.

We have been using Chris and his team at Active Geen & Ross for years. We always know that we will get a honest diagnosis with fair pricing. It is so important to be able to trust a mechanic and before finding Chris we never had that.
We will never go anywhere else. Thank you Chris and team for always being the mechanic we can count on.

Long story short: I made an appointment for my brakes. I wanted them checked, as I drive every day back and forth more than 50kms.so I need to have a reliable transportation and last time I checked my brakes was 6 months ago. They took 3 hours to tell me that my car needed $3000 in BRAKE repairs! I obviously told them that I wanted a second opinion and that I would pick up my car the same day. The guy on the phone started telling me that it was necessary to make all the repairs and that it would be unsafe to drive my car in that state. I said no and that I would pick it up ASAP. The guy insisted 2 more times. At the time of arrival not only the guy kept pressuring me to make all the repairs but this time the mechanic approach me and said: " did you just bought this car? Ha, I can't imagine how your car passed the safety. "
At this point I was stressed, scared and anxious because I didn't understand what was so wrong with my car as i drove it that week to work back and forth with no issues. Anyway I paid 70 bucks for a waste of time and as I started my car and made the first stop I realized that my brakes WEREN'T WORKING. Thank God I live very close to the place and was able to park it and call a tow truck to take it to a trusted mechanic (after asking people around I was able to find one). THE TRUSTED MECHANIC CHARGED ME $300 for a broken hose (how did that happen?) and told me that nothing was wrong with my brakes.what a sorprise. Save yourself from a bad experience and go somewhere else

The manager Randy provides the best customer service in the industry. They are fair and very honest. Mechanics are professional and knowledgeable and really care about your car. I had a fantastic experience here. Went to Canadian Tire first and they were indifferent and borderline rude. Chris solved my problem in 5 minutes with a smile. Highly recommend this business to anyone.

My worst experience was from the head office which bombarded me with emails, including the one that sent me here. It solicited a review. I don't like that.it is rude. They call it "Inviting" People to review. Inviting is another word for soliciting. I usually give this type of review to companies such as those on Amazon that solicit reviews. I don't find customer reviews useful, others can use them at their peril.

I was very impressed with the customer service! I know nothing about tires other than they are round and you need them to make the car go. Randy was AMAZING! I did not know there was so much to know about tires! (He could write a book on tires if he wanted.) They did not try to sell me anything I did not need and made recommendations based on my needs and the year of my car (My car is old and I don't drive much) He actually suggested less expensive tires rather than trying to sell me something more expensive because I was female and obviously had no idea what I was doing.

Randy made sure that I knew I needed to come back in a week to get my tires torqued rather than leaving it up to me to read the fine print.cause like who actually reads the fine print? I really like this shop because they are just plain honest and that is sometimes hard to find. I would highly recommend this shop to women, single moms and anyone who knows nothing about tires or cars. They will explain everything in a way that is easy to understand and not try to take advantage of you.

Very professional COVID-19 protocol. I felt completely safe and comfortable while in the shop. Randy was very courteous and easy to get along with. Explained all the work and never tried to pressure me into services I didn't need.

Fantastic experience, I will be back

The previous week I had purchased 4 new tires for my wife's vehicle from this location. This was my first time ever to a Active Green Ross location. The following week we returned for our follow up visit to make sure everything was fine. I decided at that time to have a full brake inspection done even at the expense of $59.99 + tax. Most other places do free complete brake inspections nowadays no problem. When it was completed I got an estimate work order of almost $1300 total. I didn't know what to think. I was overwhelmed and just wanted to leave. I never ever got that high of an estimate or work done to my breaks. I ended up making two appointments else where for free brake inspections, one the same day and another the next day. One place quoted me for needed brake work at $500 and the other place quoted me $450. I even asked them particular questions in relation to my estimate from Active Green Ross regarding particular parts. Both places told me I needed only new brake pads and rotors. The one place that I completed the work at made new customer in me. Friendly, great service, down to earth facility, honest etc. I felt comfortable there from the time I walked in. It pays sometimes to get a 2nd & third opinion and not get ripped off especially during these difficult times were experiencing. Anytime you need to pay $68 for a brake inspection you should now better. Also when I spent a lot of money the prior week for new tires how did I know I was going to have to spend even more for an alignment! Safe to say I will not return for services there in the future. Furthermore, no where to wait there. No sitting area/room etc. Not very hospitable at all. Other places I visited had full facilities open for their customers including waiting areas!

Chris, Randy and Skylar are skilled and conscientious in their work.
I recently had a brake overhaul on my Mercedes. They were on time, and the price was great.

Time to do regular maintenance on vehicle, once again, the crew took care of my car with their usual caring, even noticed a nail in tire and took car of it for me. More than oil changes and tires at this location, they do everything to keep my car going and I feel safer on the road because of them. Thanks again guys!

Randy was extremely helpful in getting my son's car back on the road. Plugged a tire and found another leak in another tire. Gave me plenty of options to choose from plugging to replacing. Didn't push too hard replace the set.
Definitely going back.

They were not able to put on a muffler that I bought in for installation but there bender only go's to 2.5 in i needed 3in. They let the me go on the inspection fee nice people.
