Always friendly, upfront and I came in for an oil change and they checked the rest of the car to make sure things are good. Superb!

Staff is really helpful, explains everything in detail and provides various options. The prices are also reasonable. I recommend the Oshawa location.

They have good customer service. But what ever price they tell you is always extremely high. Get a second opinion & i guarantee you the issue won’t be the same & neither will the price.there has been 2 instances I’ve gone here and each time the price is nearly $1300 to get something fixed and when i go elsewhere. I end up paying $400 max, and it’s not for the same issue that active green and ross tells me. They are not honest mechanics.

My front right tire kept losing air, I didn't see any puncture so took it in for a repair. I waited a week before providing this review. The tire diagnosis and repair were good, needed a replacement valve (with TPM). The tire is holding perfectly. Active Green and Ross are a solid company, they do quality work and their pricing is reasonable. I can recommend them based on my experience.

Great place to go your auto needs. I was just there to purchase a new set of wheels and tires the guys were very helpful and friendly, the service was excellent! I will definitely be going back to this shop for more of my vehicle maintenance and care. Highly recommend this shop

Very friendly staff following covid precautions. They removed my winter tires and put on my all season tires. The car was left very clean. They also replaced several fluids and checked the brakes.

Bought new Michelin Tires today. The staff were very kind and friendly. And very knowledgeable. Me, not being a car expert, they explained fully what was going on with my car! Great all-around service! Highest Recommendations!

I went to this location for a scheduled winter tire change. However, when I arrived I was told the appointment wasn't recorded. Not only did the manager make time for my tires to be changed, he waived the cost due to the inconvenience and confusion. I'll definitely be continuing to give my service and would recommend them to anyone:)

Went to Active Green+Ross Tire & Automotive Centre Oshawa location to have my wheels balanced. They determined they don't need balancing and did not charge me anything. Excellent customer service! Shout out to Sohail.

15 to 20 dollars per tire for a nitrogen fill for tires. Had it done by another shop and it was approx 20.00 for the entire set.

DISHONEST! They told me I needed 3 things repaired and only 1 was true. After coming back to me 5 times adding things on to the list, I knew something was up. I got my car back, took it to the dealership and they confirmed this. I went in to Active Green & Ross Oshawa for a tire change and they came out saying I needed a coolant flush, I said ok. Then they said I need a brake flush, I said ok. Then they said I need the coolant tube replaced because it was cracked and leaking. That was a lie. The dealership did a pressure test and there was NO leak. After I had my tires changed, the car immediately began making a knocking sound when I went over a bump. I took the car back to active thinking it was the tires and they said it was the sway bars and another thing. The dealership said it was only the sway bars and after they replaced those, there was no knocking at all. The whole thing cost me $330 at the dealership. Active Green and Ross kept upping the price until it was $2,900 almost 10 times what I paid at the dealership. Coolant hoses don't repair themselves. The GREED they displayed was shocking as they kept upping the price until it was almost $3,000, saying things like, Chrysler is forcing us to buy their part for your make of car so it's more expensive, adding another $600 to the quote. DO NOT TRUST THIS REPAIR SHOP! It's not the first time they cheated someone and certainly won't be the last.

Pulled off the hwy for low tire pressure. The guys here had it patched and ready to go for our road trip with dog and 2 kids in less than 1 hour. Super happy with this godsend of a tire place in our (less than one) hour of need!

I had a very rough day that began and ended with a flat tire. We pumped some air into it at my workplace and a colleague suggested I drive directly to the Ritson Road location. Sohel was very helpful and drove my vehicle into the garage immediately. The technician, Bradley, was courteous and explained why the tire was damaged beyond just a patch job. I ended up with a new tire at a decent price. The service was excellent and I will come back to this location for my next oil change. I highly recommend this team!

This is the first time I had an oil change here but not my first visit to Active Green and Ross. In December, I was able to get a last minute appt to check why my tires were causing a vibration. The service on that visit made me come back for regular maintenance. The service today was also excellent.

Took my car in for a routine lube oil and filter and also to check out if I had a gas tank leak that another business said that I had. I was suspicious so went to Active Green and Ross for a second opinion. They confirmed that I didn't. Honesty goes a long way, and to sweeten the blow, there was no charge. I would recommend Active Green and Ross to anyone.

Bad experience overall. They charged me $80 for a tire change when I had the tires on the rims already. They pushed my appointment back an hour and then they didn't even call me when it was done, I had to call them.

Just got Kelly all season tiers installed on my vehicle. Very happy with the work done at Green and Ross. They are very helpful with getting you the right tire in your price range, and do a great job on installation. I'll be back again next time I need tires and you should too!

I booked a simple LOF for 11 am. Dropped off the car at 1030 and was shuttled in my own car (that's a first). I returned at 1pm to find the work had not yet even begun. The employee stated that they always overbooked (!)
When I stated that I would simply take my car elsewhere.suddenly it was ready in 20 minutes. As a 30+ year customer of another G&R I find this unacceptable and a very poor representation of the brand. Suffice to say my business will be back at the previous one.

Great job at a fair price. Very informative and don't try to charge you for work that's not needed. My new repair shop!

Horrible customer service. I called to inquire about some tire pricing and the gentleman said he would call me back in 15 minutes. I called back the following day after not hearing from them and he said he would work on it right away and call me back. Again no call back. Given the fact that prices are readily available, I find this pretty absurd.
Would have given them zero stars if I could.

After waiting three days to replace two tires I picked up the rims and tires and took them to another shop. Disappointing.

Brought my car in for service and Hindu was able to help me out and work on my vehicle. Did an excellent job and it was my first time servicing with that type of service centre. Will definitely recommend asking for Hindu when you go here! Honest and genuine work. Keep up the good work Hindu!

Showed up to the shop after they closed with a flat tire. Steve ross really helped me out with putting on my spare and rotating my tire to the back so my steering wheel wouldn't be off. Very professional service and even helped me out after they closed. 5 stars.

Would Never go back to AGR- Ritson.

We had our brakes done on our 2010 Santa Fe @ the Oshawa AGR- Ritson Rd in November. We also had snow tires, that we supplied, installed. Our Bill was $926. Within a couple of days our right rear caliper seized which overheated the pads and burned the rotor. I returned to the store immediately and asked it to be serviced and explained to Ross the Manager that i needed this fixed right away since i had an important meeting to attend the next day but he said it was too close to closing and to come back tomorrow. I explained that i could not drive the car in this shape and really needed this fixed that night. Again told to come back the next day. I did not feel comfortable leaving me truck there overnight, so i slowly made my way home. By the morning the caliper was so seized that i had it towed (my cost) to another Mechanic. Upon his evaluation i needed to replace the calipers, rotors and pads on the right side. Our Mechanic stated the calipers were not cleaned and serviced and were full of gunk, which resulted in it to be seized.
Furthermore, 2 of the installed Snow Tires were put on backwards. All together spent another $560 to have it fixed. I went back to Ross and showed him the bill and asked to be reimbursed for the brakes and tire install. Ross was only willing to pay back the $106 for the tire install and nothing more. Having no choice i settled on the $106.
A couple of more weeks passed and we then developed clunking noise in the back and front of the truck. We took it back to our Mechanic only to find out that the pads on the front left and back left have come loose from the clips and were rattling loudly when driving. We had these replaced with new pads and clips. Another cost of $400. Our Mechanic stated that the pads the AGR installed were inferior and not suited for our truck and not installed properly.
It goes without question that AGR- Ritson has some issues with it workmanship. Needless to say spending an extra $960 is totally unacceptable and we do not recommend AGR- Ritson.

Can't say enough about Ross from the Ritson Auto Garage! Over the weekend my truck was fully serviced, lube and oil change and a standard maintenance check (tires, battery, tire rotation) Once this service was completed, I've noticed the passenger side headlight was out? ! Addressed this fact with Ross, who's promptly rescheduled me for a complete bulb replacement at my out of pocket expense (rightly so). However Ross had waived the cost of the installation!
That's superb customer service I must say!
That's why I constantly mention his garage to all my friends and family!

I can not say enough good things about Ross and his staff.
