Excellent place to get your car serviced have been coming here for years. They've helped me out a few times with minor things for free just showing how much they care about their customers.

Nothing but honest dealings with this place. Brought in my car for a slow moving power window and a tire with a slow leak. They fixed the slow leak for a fair price and oiled the window for free. Other shops would have told me I needed four new tires and that the power window motor needed replacement.

I took my car for an oil change and an issue with my steering. They did the oil change and said there was nothing wrong with the steering. The next day faults go off on my car so i take it to the dealership and they said the issue was a non oem oil filter causing the sensor to fault and the dealership fixed the steering issue. Not impressed with the new management.

A year ago, I posted this review as a 5 start because i absolutely loved coming here. I got estimated $5000 somewhere else to fix my car at that time and needed a second opinion so my family suggested Active Green.
I've been going to them ever since for the past 4 years now. They understand that I myself don't know too much about cars and Chris had a way of explaining it where I'm not feeling like I'm stupid and I actually understand where prices come from and why the certain issues have been happening or how they will fix it. It helps to know that I can trust them with my car as well as pricing fairly.
This being said, I have changed my rating to a 1 star because they are now in new ownership and Chris and Zaid are no longer there who I trusted. I brought my car in this past week not knowing they were gone and the new ownership doesn't seem to care too much about explaining to me or even really talking to me about my car issues. They hung up on me before I could continue to ask my questions to understand my car issues better so I called back and asked my questions to just tell them to charge me for the diagnosis and I will be taking it elsewhere to get fixed. I understand new ownership is different, but you might want to treat the customers that have been coming there for years with a bit more customer service and not rush/hang up on them before the conversation is done.

The asian guy doesn’t know how to talk to a customer.he gets loud like he’s gonna start fighting with you. Wondering how that trainee felt while learning things from him.

Only used this automotive centre twice but service has been exemplary! They book for specific times, do the work while you wait and explain very well the problem and the solution.
As a Honda owner I will continue to bring my vehicle here.

I took my car to be serviced here today because of the sound of ac motor fan, after 10 minutes check they called me on phone and said they couldn't find any complaint I came and showed the car ac problem to the mechanic and after that they took $63 from me without doing anything the manager there is very bad Ai spoke to me because of that I do not recommend anyone

Well definitely can't beat the prices anywhere in town. Chris is great, he was prompt with what tires and brands were available for my Corolla. Service will be done Wednesday and I'll leave another review about the service which should be amazing aswell. Thanks Chris

I recently tried to have some tire services done at this shop and my car was damaged. The Shop Manager got very offensive and agitated. Now I have to fix the damage out of pocket. Stay away as far as possible from this place. Shocked to see that there still are businesses out there where customers mean nothing - only profits. Terrible business. As I can see from the many responses here from the Manager, he always finds an excuse as to why the customer is wrong and he is right. Stay away!

My tires were low and the service man was helpful with putting air in my tires free of charge. I was back the next week to have a leaking tire repaired. The staff were helpful and charges were reasonable. I would recommend their service.

I called them this morning as I've been having issues with my tires. I asked if they could see me today so they could check my tires and either repair them or replace them and the gentleman said that yes he could see me. When I arrived he did a visual examination and said they need to be repairer, so I the gave him my keys so he could repair my tires but he said that he didn't have any space today, which is contradiction to what was told to me on the phone. This is my first review of a business as this is the first time that I've ever been lied to as a customer.

Please stay away from this place, very poor and careless management; I had my car for repair, and I don’t think the technician knew what he was doing; the shop manager on the computer, most of the time, does not seem to care about poor performance. Anyway, long story short, after one hour of not completing a simple break job, I ended up in Maneke, which solved my issue in minutes. PS don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Amazing shop, very friendly staff. Accommodating and knowledgeable with reasonable pricing. Will definitely return.

1. Do you really think customers would leave 1 star reviews for no reasons? I can't believe you said you have no record of any of what I am talking about because I actually purchased the tire from you and you literally gave me the invoice

2. Zain said he will contact Michelin to resolve my customer complaint. The truth is he never did, and I ended up pushing Michelin customer service representative to call them to confirm the details. If I never call Michelin customer service, I will never get the reimbursement for my problem tire.

Prompt friendly and efficient. Always a positive experience. Transmission diagnostic and identified the issue and what to do moving forward.

Very professional and helpful, they didn’t even charge me for the quick 3 mins fix to my car. I would highly recommended them!

Came in with a punctured tire and Chris couldn’t have been more helpful. They were able to get me a replacement for my EV and got in installed the same day as well. Will definitely be back.

The team at AG&R are awesome! I cannot say enough good things about them, I have been a customer for 7+ Years. They continue to provide great service, that I consistently recommend to anyone if they ask where I go for vehicle maintenance. Prices are super fair, and when I have called in with a, “I think it might be this. ” They are quick to book me in to check it out! Furthermore, should work need to be done, they review in detail, which I appreciate. Lastly, if you’re lucky they may send you home with swag (scraper/umbrella) depending on promos and such. ️

Your right I never had any work done. That's why you get one review. I left work early to drop my car off to active Green for weel alignment you had my car for few hours. Never did anything

I only went there once to get a quote for some tires and they were beyond amazing.the guy behind counter helped me out an give me quote for new 2 tires. Can't speak on there repair services because haven't been there for that but they seem like amazing people. Highly recommend

Called last night to book an appointment and I had a family emergency come up and they wouldn’t give me my deposit back even though I called right before closing and called first thing this morning. Theirs no way the tires would’ve been there yet What a crook. Do not recommend

Took my brand new Rav4 for tire swap because by vehicle came with steel wheels with hubs and I wanted to transfer same tire to new aluminum rims. They demaged front right tire by the rim and on top of that they demaged by original brand new wheel cover. Not a big deal for wheel cover but it is when I have brand new car. This is not acceptable! Now i need to replace my tire and wheel cover which will be over $300. Shame on this business! You replied that wheel cover was demaged by curb.the guy dropped hub at front of you and me. See outside footage when he handled the wheel covers, he did drop one. Stop lying and try to cover your a$$. You guys are crooks!

Went in today for a tire changeover and this is the best garage I've ever been to. Manager went out of his way to find the right tires for me and he even price matched to get me the best price. He was very friendly, knowledgable and explained everything thoroughly. The mechanic did a great job installing the new tires and it was by far an excellent experience. Would recommend them to anyone who is looking for honest and economical car service

I’ve been bringing both my vehicle here since I moved to Kitchener in 2017. I’ve never had any problems. Zain and everyone that works here are friendly and professional. If you have any car issues and you lived in Waterloo region this is where to go.

Took my new highlander to get brand new rims installed. My vehicle was shaking from the one side after installation.they told me that the $4000 rims had weight distribution issue as its not made properly, I also started having air leak from the one tire. Took it to Toyota to look at and they said 3 out of the 4 rims had the incorrect weights for balancing. And one tire edge was damaged during installation which requires an replacement as it can not be patched where it meets the rims on the inside edge. $500 dollars later and the vehicle now has 0 issues. Ended up paying for balancing twice and a new tire. What a waste of money. So disappointed! If you can't get a simple tire installation done properly. I'm scared to know what diagnostic and engine repair can go wrong for complex moderate jobs.

Active Green+Ross Kitchener were very accommodating with available service appointments same day to address my urgent concerns about my vehicle and completion next day. Chris and Steve made sure all my concerns and symptoms about my car were addressed and diagnosed, and explained each repair and it’s purpose so that I knew exactly what was being done and the associated costs. I appreciated their honesty and expertise. My car was in great hands, and I’ll be returning for regular maintenance and any emergent concerns:)

My experience at Active Green+Ross was just amazing. I've been looking for a car repair shop for a while and I know I will continue to go with them.
The prices are right, everybody kept their distance if not wearing a mask, the service was fast, and the guy at the reception was just incredibly nice! Great conversation with everyone present. I would definitely recommend this place for your car repairs. You won't be disappointed!

Highly recommended, very nice people and really take it upon themselves to help their clients. Excellent, excellent service! Brad was very knowledgable and helpful. The only auto shop in Kitchener out of the 7-8 I called that was able to help me out on short notice right before closing for the night.

Got my winter tires installed at Canadian Tire and they messed it up and I got a flat tire on the highway because of poor installation. Active Green and Ross fixed the issue with the tire last minute right before the closed. Very nice people, and highly recommented. Definitely the auto shop my family and I will be using for all future needs.

Went in this morning to get a quote, was ignored by the salesperson as he was busy talking with an earlier customer. The other customer was just waiting for service to finish on his own vehicle. Won't be going there again. Bad customer service. I work in the customer service field, and would never ignore another customer. He could have politely excused himself, but didn't bother. Needless to say, I left and took my business elsewhere.

I visited the store today to do service for my son's car. Very impressed with the honest and fair customer service. Shadad was very knowledgeable. The mechanics in the shops were also quick. Definitely coming back!
