Good service. Friendly and seemed honest. First time here. I was told by another shop, NOT Active Green + Ross, I needed my boots replaced but Dave here told me I just needed a clamp replaced and showed me. Was thankful for that. Check them out. Again first time using them but will try them again.

Oil change was fine and about average cost. The service was quick and easy to book.

However, I wouldn't trust their quotes for work that "really needs to be done". I was quoted $1400 worth of work. Over half of which isn't required.

Also.as an annoyance:
They work very messy - my windshield and steering wheel had to be wiped down to get rid of grease.
My seat was also massively adjusted which seems incredibly unnecessary to drive the car about 10m.

Had a flat tire on a sunday, one of the few places Open on the weekend. Had my car repaired by the professional and a service with a reasonable price. Definitely would recommend it.

I’ve been coming to this location for almost 7 years and not so long ago ownership changed and now they engage in fear sale. “Once you go synthetic oil you can’t go back and you will ruin your engine. ” no that’s not true. It may offer less protection and longevity but it’s immoral to push sales by making people scared with lies.also tried to upsell over priced air filters that I haven’t been pushed since I’ve been going to this location. I left being concerned if they even changed the oil filter. It’s unfortunate that now I have to find another place.

I've been going to this place for years and they honestly have the best service! So kind, accommodating and explain everything as thoroughly as you need it. I have an older car so there is a lot to consider when fixing. They help weigh my options, provide alternatives and give advice. Super down to earth, honest and quick service. It's always hard to find a good place to fix your car and this place is the best! I've been to a few other locations as well and this location is by far the friendliest and best service!

Had an excellent experience at Active Green+Ross.
My car was broken and needed an immediate repair. Luckily this location was the only one opened today (Sunday). Without an appointment I was able to go there and they just fixed my car in few minutes.

I hit a stupid pothole on the way back to Toronto and my steering wheel went completely mis-aligned to the right! So I stopped and went in for an alignment (didn't even look at my tire before walking in the shop).

My tire was about to blow, and the guys here stepped in and took care of me. They showed me the tire, they ordered a tire from their nearest location (my size is rare apparently ;), the shop manager had another employee drive there and pick it up for quick assistance, and I had my car fixed in just about 2 hours.

Winter tires change. Good enough, although was told they'd call me in 30-40 minutes. When I showed up 1.5 hours later, they were just finishing the installation. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry!

So impressed by this shop - very professional service. Went in with a flat tire and they took care of me and found replacement tires for my truck and pointed out 2 safe issues. My truck runs so much better. I will definitely go back. They sent me a copy of the recommendations to my phone. My truck was ready on time. Very impressed.

Perform the work requested with no surprise charges. I go to the Hughson location in Hamilton. If their inspections detect other issues they explain in layman's terms the issue, and the level of urgency, but I never felt pressured into more service, as I have at some dealerships.

Bought new, and expensive, Michelin tires from them and the new tires were not performing anywhere near where Michelin said they would. There was definitely something wrong with them. My fuel efficiency was down about 150km/tank compared to every other tire I've had. The guys at Active Green & Ross took them back and gave me something new that sell for the same price without hassle. The new tires are fantastic, also Michelin, and probably one of the best I've driven on.

Amazing Price and Service as they ordered and mounted my Tires on for my BMW i8 Sports Car. They were ready ahead of schedule and everything was perfect. Special Thanks to Steve F and his mechanic for all their help as well as unloading and loading my wheels in my truck. I was unable to lift the wheels due to an ongoing neck and upper back issue.

$90 plus tax for a basic oil change!? Last oil change here! Does not require synthetic, is just a Nissan Altima. Synthetic was not requested nor even mentioned, by you or me.

This company maintains our car. They let us know when something requires repair now, or if we have repairs coming in the near future. Always professional, quick and quality workmanship. Would highly recommend them.

After close to 4 years.i say good bye. Ever since the pandemic, seems like, the guy was rude. Anyways, 108.40$ oil change for synthetic now.and claim its the cheapest lol. Dewilt is under 80$ so yes, Active Green can be under sold.

Friendly counter staff the price did go up for my oil change but i trust these guys with both my cars and they are far in pricing if you need other work done so i didn't mind prices are rising everywhere these days
