Awful service and staff! Immature and extremely rude. Did not put tires on correctly and ended up nearly causing an accident. Had to argue to get a full refund as the work was not done properly. Unprofessional and would never recommend.

Went here a couple months ago and I forgot to leave a bad review for how unfairly and unprofessional I was treated. I waited 3 and a half hours for a tire change and when they were finally done they upped the price more from what they originally said. DO NOT go to this terrible place.

Also terrible attitudes at the guys working at the desk.

Compared with the dealership, this place offers much more reasonable prices for quality work.

Brought my car in @130pm appointment to fix a punctured tire. I asked the gentleman at the service desk to call me when its ready, confirmed my number as well. No call came. Ended picking up my car at 5pm as I had no confidence they were going to call before the shop closed. If I cant even trust you guys to perform a simple call, it doesn't make it easier to trust you guys to perform a bigger service.

This was the best experience l had l was in a emergency situation and l need to get my tire changed l had a spare in my car and they put it on for me for no cost I highly recommend active green and ross

Have been using this Active G&R franchise for maintance and repairs for many years, many vehicles. Service advisors Perry and Sid "tell it like it is". No B. S. No upselling, no unnecessary work. Most car owners fear getting mislead/lied to or being taken advantage of by repair shops. Cars are machines that break down and need repairs. This shop treats customers fairly and honestly. Tires are certainly their speciality but they offer fair prices and good work on all their products and services.

Great place. I’ve been here a few times. This time, they were able to fit in my brake repair last minute. They were super helpful, explained everything to me and they’re always very welcoming.

I would give this place a zero if I could. In 2018, my wife took my Honda to this place for an oil change. They said something was wrong with my breaks and refused let my wife drive home. I knew there was nothing wrong with the breaks. I took my car to Honda to check the breaks. Other then normal wear, there was nothing wrong with breaks. The girl dealing with my car who has glasses and hair bangs was just trying to sell us car breaks. I have told my friends and family to avoid Active Green and Ross and you should as well. I am posting again because my review was deleted from 2018.

Sid, Perry, and their team have been our trusted 'go to’ team, for all our vehicle needs, for over 30 years. Would not think of going anywhere else.

From the minute I walk in until the minute I leave, I feel valued as a customer, especially being a woman. This is one of the reasons I return. They are always on time. Sid and Perry (owners) are honest and reliable. When they give you an estimate, it is usually within a dollar amount or so. If you don't need something, they will not try to sell it to you. They explain what should be done and let you make an educated decision. For all of these reasons, I have been coming to this Active Tire in Ajax, even though I am now living in Uxbridge. These guys are dishonest. They recommend changing the thermostat to fix an issue with my cabin heater, which cost around $250. It didn’t fix the problem. A few weeks later when I brought it back they found the actual cause of the issue was a failing head gasket. When I asked for a refund for the thermostat replacement which was unnecessary and a misdiagnosis of the problem, they refused. I won’t be back and I suggest you don’t use this place either

I have been going here for over 25 years with different cars that I have owned. For trusted repairs and tires this is the best place in the Ajax/Pickering area.

I went for Winter Tire swap. It was done quickly. Did not have to wait long. The person at the front desk at the Ajax unit, was very helpful and patient. Service was good and very professional.

Wow! We were referred to these guys by our Ottawa Green and Ross prior to our recent move to Oshawa. Sid (50 plus years in the automotive business), Rob, Perry and the tech who did the tire change/service were all great. Can't recommend them highly enough. We were always well treated by Green and Ross in Ottawa and look forward to that continuing with this team. (Sid trained Luc, the owner in Ottawa - great history!)
Most recently they replaced the serpentine belt - done for the price quoted and on time. Excellent service!

Needed a new starter and they installed it in a timely fashion and now my car works again. Been there a few times and all their work is top notch! Highly Recommend!

I have had extensive experience with this group, in both their previous Pickering location and their current Ajax location. In my most recent experience I had a flat tire, they were able to rapidly identify that the tire was not repairable, source and install a replacement in less than one business day. I joke that I hope I don't have to use them again for a few years, but if and when I do I'm confident their service level will remain at their high level.

Sid and Perry and his team do a superb job with fast, professional service. I recommend them every chance I get.

I have always had a great experience at this location. Sid and Perry are very helpful and perform exactly what service you request. They do check the vehicle over and point out observations and make recommendations. There's no pressure to do anything you nay want to hold off on. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking to service their vehicle.

My Audi front tire went flat and it was not a reparable puncture. The team at Active Green & Ross totally took care of the tire with really fast and professional service. With a car like my Audi which is AWD, I really couldn’t rely on refurb or non-OEM tire and they really guided me well.

They were able to successfully repair a tire problem that GMC couldn't resolve after 2 visits. They clearly explained what the issue was, and why the tire continued to lose air. Very satisfied with the results.

My husband purchased his tires there and had some issue with them making weird sounds and they were so professional, ended up ordering him another set! They truly seem to care. So when my car started making a noise when breaking my husband suggested going to Green &Ross at hwy2 and Westney Ajax. Happy I did, great service and done in a day and sooner than expected. That’s service and all with smiles!

Everyone in this place is helpful and chill. We started bringing our cars there over two years ago and won't take them anywhere else. They are true to their word about when your car will be ready, they are always helpful and most importantly very honest and professional.

Been going to Active Green+Ross Ajax @ Westney Rd.for all our 3 cars; 2 Toyotas and 1 Mercedes for year and years. Top notch mechanic pros and honest knowledgeable service advisors. Super helpful, accommodating, friendly, light-hearted, and easy going. Only do what's needed and have always kept to their quotes (and under!). No surprises or disappointments ever. Owner run with high attention to detail and service satisfaction. Best mechanic shop I've ever been to, including dealerships.

I have been going to this Locatoon for many years and each time I go I deal with Rob. I called to book an alignment on my truck and was told that the latest appointment would be 4: 30pm because closing time was 5: 30pm. I was so happy I got an appointment for the Thursday as I was driving to Kingston the Saturday. Rushed home from work and got to the shop for 4: 20pm, felt good that I made it in time and had time to spare. The Gentleman who was not Rob told me very rudely that my appointment was for 4pm because he needed at least 1 hour for my Alignment. Remember, I got there at 4: 20pm and closing time was 5: 30pm, So I ask if he would be able to do it and he said nope I don't have enough time. When he realized I was not happy and was walking out he mumbled under his breath "do you want to rebook? ". Like really buddy!

This is not the first encounter I have seen him in with another person but I thought we all have bad days and everyone deserves a second chance. That was my second chance this whole experience just left a bad taste in mouth and for this reason I really don't think I would take any of my cars here anymore.

25+ year client. Wouldn't think to go elsewhere. Sid and Perry provide timely quotes, answer any questions I have, and have the car ready when I need it. They've often fit me in on short notice if it sounds like it might be a safety issue, when I call to explain the problem.

Always appreciate their candor, and great senses of humour. They have kept all my cars running well, and I have faith they keep my safety in mind when suggesting necessary repairs.

We had an appointment for new winter tires on new rims. Impressive and very knowledgeable service staff. The quote was prompt as well as being the best value in town. A minor situation with us realizing that we didn't have the wheel nut lock (recently bought this used car without checking) didn't cause a hiccup with the on time delivery. We're very satisfied and will return with no hesitation. Thank you Perry and crew.

I always use Active Green & Ross to take care of my aging Chev Impala.
This time it was just to switch over my tires from summer to winter, both sets on their own rims.

I had my winter tires taken off at this Ajax location. It was suggested to me that my rear brakes should be done as they were old and rusty. After having the two back brakes serviced for $500+ dollars, I drove to Quebec for the weekend and experienced car problems the entire weekend. I brought the car back in and after I was called to pick the car up I was handed my keys and told nothing. I had to ask what was wrong and I was told the brakes had not been releasing properly and that's why my engine was revving so high when I accelerated. After this I brought the car back 3 TIMES because the car was not functioning properly before I was told the front brakes were the problem. $700+ dollars and two new front brakes and all the parts that go with brakes later my car's engine was never the same and ultimately I had to have it shipped to the wrecking yard. I have been going to Active Green + Ross for years. I highly recommend the location in Markham on Hwy 7 East of Markham Rd. I will never bring my business back to the Ajax location. I have never felt so swindled in my life.

Active Green and Ross sell tires for a really good price. When you get the tires installed then they find something wrong with your vehicle and then they charge you an arm and a leg. On one occasion they gave me a price and I found that the part three times higher at Active Green and Ross then it was at the Chrysler dealer. So I suggested that they get the part from Chrysler dealer they got the part and marked it up again. I purchase tires for 2 cars and they found something wrong with both and charge incredible prices to repair.

The staff at this location are always friendly and professional. My car is done quickly and they don't suggest extra repairs that aren't needed. They've kept my 2010 Honda on the road.

I have been coming here for over 16 years and every time I come in I always receive the best service! Called them late last week as my truck was making a noise, explained I was leaving on vacation end of next week and if they could get me in! Well they were able to work their magic and get me in on Monday! Fixed the truck so now I can enjoy my vacation stress free! Thank you Sid & Perry and everyone who works there!
