Active Green+Ross Tire & Automotive Centre

I had a blow out on the highway while driving at a high rate of speed, had to get a flatbed to tow me directly to this location just before they closed. Found out I had to replace all 4 tires, they gave me a reasonable deal and patiently dealt with my calls asking if my truck was ready yet. Would go back.

I am very satisfied with the service here and have been a regular customer with them. Very professional, courteous and efficient team. Thank you team.

LAWRENCE LOCATION: My first time experience with this location of Active Green + Ross and I'd highly recommend them. I dealt with both Ramesh and John and both were professional, listened to my car needs, and worked to find solutions for me. John went above and beyond showing me repeatedly what work they were going to do or what the problem was on my car and then let me choose whether I wanted to fix something or not at this time. Showing me (not just telling me) went a long way to win my trust after other places charged me for work that I then found out later wasn't ever done. I bought 8 tires, had them put them on their rims, put 4 on the car, had tires aligned, fixed lights, windshield wiper, and had a broken piece welded for me all in about 1.5 hours because they began work on my car right away and worked until it was done. Clearly an organized and efficient shop. And the customer office is clean, comfortable, bathroom, coffee, snacks, wifi available making the wait more pleasant. Fast, friendly, thorough and honest service for this budget-conscious, information-based consumer = 5 stars and whole-hearted recommendation

UPDATE: have gone back several times since my first time and have received continued excellent service! Helpful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, I feel like they have my back for all my car needs. 5 stars again.

UPDATE: John continues to be a customer service star! He just re-did the waiting area and bathroom for customers and it is really nice! Tv, coffee, water, snacks, even a fireplace, and the bathroom is new and clean! If I didn't already love this place, I'd come for this alone. It makes all the difference while you're waiting for your car. I bring my laptop and use their wifi and get work done in a comfortable setting. Couldn't love this place more. John and Ramesh make you feel like a valued customer every time. I wish every business was like this! 6 stars!

Team at Active Green & Ross #1935 serviced my car and did a good job and was prompt. I have taken my car there more than once and any job was completed with me satisfied.

Service is fast and staff are very approachable. I feel not being robbed. They just did what is necessary for my car. Price of tires are cheaper. I basically saved $300 compare to the dealer's price of my car. Special mentioned to Mike whom I contacted. Very nice guy!

I had used Active Green and Ross regularly about 10 years ago and then moved. My regular shop was booked up and I was driving down Lawerence Ave and saw their sign and I thought I would drop in. Well have they ever upped their game - great knowledge and service, inspection comes with photos and detailed listing of what is found that is emailed to you. The waiting area in very nice, good coffee and cookies. Bathroom is absolutely pristine. I waited for my car and observed the care of the technicians and mechanics with the cars and customers. Can not recommend more highly.

Ramesh and his crew was very nice to talk to. He and his crew showed me how to fill up the antifreeze and motor oil. They recently renovated their reception area and it has a good coffee machine that grinds coffee on the spot and also hot chocolate. They also have oatmeal cookies and sesame snaps. It is a free complimentary for your patronage. They offer reasonable pricing and do their best to save you money in the long run to help you make the best use of your car. They are an honest bunch of guys who want to give you the best value and service for your money's worth. They also give you honest advice on how to best prolong the use of your car with their repairs and diagnostics. Hope you find them to be a benefit to your car check up. My parents have been with Ramesh for over 10 years in tuning up the car.

Customer service was nice. That’s why it was natural to trust. I was invoiced around 2k.
Bit surprised with the cost, so after doing the job I was try to do some research.
In the invoice they gave me the parts number, with that number I checked at different places.that parts price is around $200 each so should not cost more that $400 for parts.
But they charged me $920+ tax.
I talk to other places, including different Active Green Ross. I could do the job less than half price. Complete rip-off indeed.
I will never fall into nice talk.

You'll receive quick, accomplish automobile service at a competitive, fair price. A report with photographs of all the issues regarding your vehicle are generated and presented. Multiple repair tasks will be completed in a few hours. Upon completion, you'll drive away feeling like you have a brand new vehicle. No exaggeration, your car (truck, trailer, etc.) will performed as it should especially if you own an older model vehicle (mine being a 2009 Nissan Maxima). A totally satisfied and lasting experience.

I had a bolt in one of my tire, I didn't want to removed and /or leave there because I will drive in the highway and could be very danger also I was with my child, so suddenly apper active green in my Way, so I pass and all team was very generous with my so I am too, my son was happy while we waiting for our car, after a moments was ready to back home, very good services and customer services.

Very professional and helpful staff. They are very honest and I will recommend this shop. Probably one of the best locations.

Went here to replace a light bulb and get an inspection. They attended to all my needs, there's a nice coffee machine in the waiting area, and the process was quick and smooth. I'd just recommend you double check for all the items you asked as they had forgotten to replace my bulb. But when asking, they did it instantly, so I wouldn't consider that a problem. Overall, I'll say it was a good experience.

Always well received by John and the other managers. My tire puncture was promptly tended to with alternatives if necessary!

This Location is Always my Go To when I need something serviced ASAP, and now will be my only GO TO! I actually prefer this shop over my usual service centre.this is why I often end up at this location, the customer service is exceptional, 100% satisfaction that you will always get from the gentleman that work here. I normally deal with John who is truly a great man, He will always go above and beyond, out of his way to ensure that I fully understand what is needed and what will be done and I trust him 100%. He often will take me into the shop to meet the mechanics and explain thoroughly what is going to be done, and all of the guys are truly compassionate and caring about what they do.
Ps. And if you’re like me, and you like to talk to people - it can actually be a hoot sitting in the waiting room! Time flies by every time! And the service is done right away and very accurate with the timeframe that they say.

This is the best branch 1935 Lawrence avenue east, Scarborough. I was looking for an Auto Mechanic that have credibility and transparency and this branch is like a family member taking care of your car even active green + Ross is a chain however not all branches the same.

Mike is a very honest manager and credible and his assistant Ramesh also good.

Don’t go to other branches they will scam you be careful!
I went to 1750 Danforth avenue Toronto branch and instead of repairing my tire that is still in good condition they forced me to buy two new tires. Instead of spending 45$ to repair they forced me to pay 532$ instead in Danforth Toronto branch I even have warranty on my tires to repair for free but many mechanic stores will make the up sale rule. At 1750 Danforth avenue in Toronto they will put a screw in your tire if they could be careful.
I bought 4 Michelin tires that costs me 1400CAD but then they forced me in 1750 Danforth branch to change two tires tiger paw by 532CAD. Unexpected expenses but they don’t care how hard you work if you have the money or not they will just scam you.

I also went to the Oakville active green +Ross branch and the guy working on cashier there told me that the tire can’t be repaired so I left and I told him I will go to the other branch.while Mike at 1935 Lawrence avenue east in Scarborough repaired my tire for free because I have warranty on the Michelin tires.

Excellent service performed by Michael on servicing my car even if it’s just oil change. Very professional, courteous, friendly, fast and efficient service. I will highly recommend this location.

Excellent services! I’ve come to this location a few times and was happy every time. John is very professional and friendly. This time I had a stone stuck in one of my brakes. They helped me get it out quickly and for FREE. Would def recommend this location!
