Friendly staff, but was a little long for an oil change, hence the 3 stars. Appoint was at 1 and I waited until 1: 45pm even though I saw my car ready right in front for like 10 mins.

I will go for my car inspection and for battery change i get appointment easily. Littel expensive but great service

Everything was fine except that there was a problem with my brakes that the service advisor did not tell me about when I picked up the car. I don't know why they didn't offer to fix it, and in any case I should have been informed.

Update: interesting response from management considering we spoke so they have enough of a file on me to have my home line. The owner called claiming they lost my invoice. After listening to excuses from his staff about call outs, yet still closing early, I find this so aggravating. Own the mistake. I mean I picked my keys up off of said lost invoice. Your staff just discarded it? !? Also this was a tire plug, not anything exhaustive. Insult to injury, your local competitor did it in less than 10 minutes and for less than half the charge. Don't call me again.

Friendly and competent service for a fair price. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Sabrina has good taste in wheel rims.

Replaced my Michelin tires under warranty after an hour spent on the phone by the the owner to Michelin to process the paper work.
Job well done.and certainly worth the drive from my home in Cambridge to the Hamilton store for the service.

Good service; I purchased 2 new tires for my all seasons and had issues with the other 2 I had the year before from elsewhere - I didn't even mention it, BUT THEY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY AND FIXED THEM! Thats great service.

When there are so many places out there willing to take your money, it's nice to find a place that will do ONLY the work requested/needed. An overall inspection will be done and observations and recommendations will be given. No pressure! Never had a bad experience here!

Went in for a nasty power steering leak and struts. They were quick and professional. No more rough idle and no more awful noise when steering caused by the faulty pump. And I don't have to top up the fluid every day. The new struts make for a much nicer ride and I don't feel like I'm gonna break something going over a bump. They also only do the work that is requested and let you know if other things need attention. Last mechanic I was at did an oil and filter change that I hadn't asked for, having done it myself a month prior. So all in all these guys are very professional and their work speaks for that. Would recommend 100%

Active Green+Ross switched my winter tires over to my all season tires. They also found a nail in one tire and fixed it. There was no charge for this since I buy my tires and rims from them. They always look after me very well.

Good value for my Ram, quality parts (premium). Finished on time as promised. Also covid protocols in place, business was clean.

Had a battery installed, very straight forward. They tested the system first to make sure it was just a battery. Honest company, worked hard with all the snow. Was my second visit since November. I will be back. On a side note, they seemed to have every covid protocol in place, and the place was very clean. Saw the guys wearing gloves and masks as well.

Had a slight pull on my car and exhaust was getting loud (2014 Elantra). They did an oil change and found I needed a muffler and suggest an alignment as my Tire's were wearing. Great part was everything was done on tablets which supplied pictures for what I needed. Even pictures of the stuff that was ok. They had my car for 3.5 hours and I watched Chris the service Advisor clean my keys before giving them back to me. I will be back, and suggest others give this local place a shot.

Had a absolutely horrible vibration and crunching noise going on from my passenger side front wheel. Second time stopping in and Chris said he could help me out if I gave him a little bit of time. Left my car and in about 30 mins they sent me some pictures of a massive amount of ice built up on that wheel and suspension parts. Was pretty awesome to see pictures and the 10 second video of them chipping away the ice. Chris and the guys came through yet again and with how bad the problem felt they could have sold me a ton of work and I would have went along with it based on how bad it felt. Thanks for being honest and fair with the cost ($39.95).

I didn't have an appointment but my low tire pressure light came on and I was able to pull in today as they were the first garage I passed. The gentleman at the counter Chris was very helpful and pleasant and didn't charge me for the air. The younger gentleman who checked my tires was wearing a mask and didn't seem to mind working outside as the snow was coming down on him. Thanks for the service.

Had an oil change appointment which went well but to my surprise when I walked into the store there were three people working behind the counter and not one of them were wearing a mask, seems like a very bad idea considering we are currently in a lockdown to prevent COVID from spreading. They were friendly and helpful, but I felt very uncomfortable walking into an enclosed space with three people not wearing masks. I know certain businesses do things there own way, but they should be looking out for their clients and protecting themselves as well. Needless to say I hope the next time I go in the staff behind the counter are wearing masks.

They fit us on for a flat tire fix even though they were booked solid. Even came and picked up our winter tires when they couldn't fix the flat, and did the changeover. Always a great experience here! Everyone is very helpful and friendly.

Great Experience. They guys at the front desk was super helpful. Got the brakes on my car fixed. No more Squeak they replaced all the brakes on all 4 wheels in under 3 hourS and for hundreds cheaper than Chrysler Wanted to charge me! Thanks Dave and Staff! UPDATE Was in again to get my Winter Tires Removed, Service was again excellent and my car was in an out in not time

Had my shocks, struts and control arm replaced, plus alignment. Get my car back and my turn signal won’t engage on one side and disengage on other (worked fine before). Take it back to get looked at, they try and charge me ANOTHER $300! Still not fixed and will NEVER return or recommend to my worst enemy!

I called in and was given an appointment the same day. First time at this location. I got the oil changed, the technician checked tread depth and saved me money instead of having the unnecessary cost of tire rotation. The service Advisor gave me an estimate for the next repair I knew was upcoming, and explained the measurements.

A big thank you to Chris and his team. They were able to rush me in to complete a safety inspection and to change my tires. I plan to return in the Fall to have my tires stored.

While I somehow made a mistake with my time (was 1 hr late for my appt) Chris got me to get the repair done. Professional, Courteous and willing to listen to my concerns (what was happening with my car). The two areas they can improve on (yes, 4.5 stars is not an option) is.
- when a customer calls to book an appt, let them know that due to COVID there's no staying on the property, but more importantly, there's no ride home and back to get your car.
- when the car is complete, call the customer. Not sure how long my car repair was done, but 2.5 hrs later I called as I needed my car.

Great Location for on the Mountain. Offers discount on services for staff at Hamilton Health Sciences. Staff and owner (Chris) are excellent to deal with, very reasonable. Have bought tires here, price was the cheapest around. UPDATE: Have now brought my car here exclusively for maintenance and repairs for 4 years. The best service I've ever had in any commercial setting for anything! Completely trustworthy for everything they say. Very helpful with suggesting things to keep an eye on in the future, and never recommending anything that doesn't need to be done. You cannot go wrong by coming here and I would recommend them 100% for absolutely anything you need.

I have been an Active Green & Ross client at the Fennell East location for 15 years. I would not trust my vehicle to anyone else! They are professional, friendly, courteous and do stellar work at a reasonable price. I went through a very rough time with my health several years ago and was unable to work. They worked with me to get the needed work done and always ask after my well-being. They note when a repair might be anticipated such as needing to replace brake pads at the next tune up or replace tires which helps with planning time to bring the vehicle in and finances to cover the cost and always try to give the customer the best price. All the mechanics are top-notch and I would highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you staff of Green & Ross!

This location was able to get my vehicle in to change my winter tires off rims. I called two other Green and Ross stores at Limeridge and Upper James and the earliest they could get me in was over a week. This location asked me to drop off the car and they would have it done by the end of the day. They had the car done by the end of the day. Much appreciated for their timely service. Would definitely recommend this location.

130pm on a saturday and my car wont steer, my battery lights on I got no heat. I turn the car around and abandon my destination.was, told in 15 min time my steering belt had come off I needed a new one. They were fast, helpful and friendly.thank yo. Will highly recommend. All my service at this location has been great.

Came in for a safety cert, got told I needed $3600 worth of repairs before I could pass and got billed $100 for that news. Got the 3600 worth of repairs done at a garage without a jingle for a third of the price and they even threw in my safety for free. Be sure to shop around.

I took my jeep in to get fixed a couple of months ago and they told me my hoses were leaking and they had to replace the whole steering rod which somehow then broke my whole steering rack which they then had to replace too then they tried to charge me over 2000 dollars for my 08 jeep at that point i told them i’d rather scrap it and just stick with the 600 for the steering rod then somehow they got it down to 1000.funny.i got my jeep back with the engine light on, which was not on before and so we took it to a different mechanic who found out that active green and ross left my O2 sensor unplugged and hanging which i then had to replace and recently my steering wheel was shaking when i turned and i took it to the dealership where they told us that the steering rack they replaced had not been filled correctly and they didn’t do their job properly.the whole system was running dry because of their irresponsibility, they have high schoolers working there with probably little to no certification at all.do not take your car here.if i could give 0 stars i would

David is amazing! I have no words to describe how considerate and cooperative this person is. He ordered a new tire for me because my tire couldn't be fixed. He gave me a pump in case the tire loses pressure. Thumbs up!

The screwed me. Today around 9: 30 AM i went there for a small service for my tire it was puncher, i took a taxi to go there and fix my cars tire, one of there employee told me that i have to leave the tire and he said it is going to be done afternoon. I was waiting for them call but they didn't. At 5: 00 PM i took another taxi i went back there, the same guy was wasting time and was playing just to waste his time and mine too, i was in the lane and after 10 minutes waiting and he is telling me, sorry we are busy we haven’t got time to puncher your tire! And i said ok i don’t want it. I went to another place and they fixed for me after just 5 minutes. OMG you review are fake and i am going to share it with all my customers.

Wow. I'm still stunned. Fantastic. Absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this place. I won't be going anywhere else. They are exactly what I was looking for, a place that has me in mind, not how much money they can get out of me. I'm so happy I went here, because if I hadn't, I would have paid over $1200 more, because that's what another place quoted me. I've never been so happy to get work done on my car. Enjoyed wonderful service for repair on my flat tire, my excellent michelin tires were installed here several years ago with the same great service. Will be back at this location for sure for the next full set. Did a oil change at the same while having good coffee & newspaper. All done in a short time, very pleased!
