Was unexpectively stuck with a puncture in my tire that would hiss air at a high rate. AG+R at limeridge was on the money with time and accessability. Tire was repaired as i waited and was done quicker than i was estimated. Staff were curtious and overall polite. Excellant, i will be back if im ever in need.

I had a new vehicle so was in need of winter tires. The staff was knowledgeable and gave me several options which helped me weigh my choice vs simply getting the cheapest tires and slapping them on my rims. I would recommend.

Active Green Ross was able to order my tires on a Friday night for a Monday install after Canadian Tire failed on finding the tires I ordered with them. Service was swift and efficient and the employees at the front desk were kind and knowledgeable for the service I received.

Tony suggested these BF Goodrich tires for my 2016 chev 4x4 truck and are they a great tire! Very little road noise for an all weather tire! Extremely good traction on a rainy road! Their free alignment check picked up the fact that the front end was out of alignment. What a difference in handling after the alignment!

Never again in this place, had my Toyota Highlander to be checked up as I can feel something on the left front wheel, and they decided to change the shock absorber so I approved the change and after that, the manager said that there is a little bit movement in my steering wheel which is the main problem that is why I was there, so yo make long story short THE MAIN PROBLEM WAS NOT SOLVED.and the guy at the front desk (not the manager) is RUDE

The service representatives and mechanics at the Green and Ross shop at Limeridge Mall are absolutely great! They do a great and timely job getting your vehicle repaired and back to you. They don't pressure you into fixing something that's not required but inform you of anything they find that will require being looked at and repaired at your earliest convenience or if there's something serious they find that you weren't aware of they explain what the problem is and what's necessary to fix it.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs any kind of service performed on their vehicle.

Always a pleasure to deal with these guys. My fiance took our Acura TL in for servicing last week. After inspection we were given a detailed explanation of what repairs needed to be done. I have always preferred Active locations because they take the time to explain repairs if you're not familiar with cars and are honest about what (if anything) should be done ASAP. Active has always had fair pricing and they try to help the customer save where they can and this visit was no different. They did a great job, our TL is good as new! Service agent Yegen was really helpful, friendly and informative. He went out of his way to provide personalized service, texted us updates and set us up with the Michelin rebate. This is our first time using Active Green and Ross with our Tesla Model Y. He assured us they had lots of experience and provided the pucks needed for Tesla.

Have already experienced excellent service from this location about 15-18 months ago, purchased 4 new tires and had alignment work done. After I had all the work done, my vehicle drove nice and smooth and straight on the roads. So one day recently I went through a car wash that I was guided through, my front end went over the track on the automatic car wash track and I got stuck. I put my vehicle in reverse and popped my clutch to get out from the car wash track. I wasn’t quite sure if I damaged my alignment, so I took my vehicle back to this Green & Ross store at Limeridge Mall. Booked an appointment and went to mall after a drop off. About and hour or so the service desk called me and said I’m done. Went to pick up my vehicle and G&R reassured me that my steering and alignment were all OK. They showed me the print out of the alignment, they took their time for the technicians to check everything out. I asked what the charge was-And the gentleman behind the service desk said “no charge”, I thanked him and gave him a thumbs up. This was good business practice, staff are friendly and accommodating. So if you’re looking for any auto work, I would personally recommend this franchise store.

So what was a nice Saturday afternoon of shopping in my new car, I ran over a nail. With my tire hissing and wanting to shop local I went to Active Green + Ross #999,999 Upper Wentworth St, (Limeridge Mall), Hamilton, Ontario L9A 4W5. I explained my situation, desperate to get it fixed before it went flat and what was the response I got, “We close in 10 min. I can’t help you” Talk about customer service. I need new winter tires this year guess where I am not going.

I am satisfied with the outcome of the service that I received. Great work, and knowledgeable about what they were doing. They shared everything that was wrong and explained what they were doing to repair the vehicle.

Debated writing this review but I do think it’s necessary. I was committed to doing oil change myself but wanted to call around and make sure that the value is there. Ended up finding that active Green and Ross had a $25 off which would make an oil change more effective for them.

I made an appointment for 1230 came in on the day everything seemed fine, I came back one hour after I had dropped off the vehicle. I was told they were just emptying the fluids. No most times you make an appointment an oil change shouldn’t take over an hour especially with an appointment. As I proceeded to wait another half an hour one of the technicians at the front brings out the cabin air filter and tells me they need to be changed. I didn’t ask for them to do a 50 point inspection of the vehicle I simply asked for an oil change.

Going forward I would be careful and make sure if you are going to use their service to indicate what you’re looking for or else they will attempt to upsell you on any chance they get. I have nothing against the oil change itself they did a solid job in that department but I don’t appreciate the hunting for upsells on customers when I made an appointment knowing that Oi change on that vehicle should take less than 20 minutes.

My last point would be on the odometer reading interestingly enough they write down the odometer reading as 8000 less than what it is so that when they make their print out It shows the person driving a vehicle that they’re going to need an oil change sooner than later. Scummy move and I’m sure they’d argue it day and night that it’s a mistake but it’s very simple to write down six digits it’s purposely done that way.

I needed to replace one of my damaged tires on the car. The service manager was very helpful and polite. I got it done there timely and the service was very professional.

It is a good place to bring my car, they are fast and knowledgeable specially the guy who works at the front desk.

My car was making a lot of noise and the check engine light came on. I called right before closing on saturday of the long weekend and they fit me in Tuesday morning at opening. They were friendly and knowledgeable. The car was fixed by the end of the day.

Had a horrible customer experience here! Rude front desk people. Tried to take advantage of what I came for (oil change) and tried do way more work on my car than what I wanted, and told me I was ridiculous if I didn’t. Absolutely not coming back here!

These guys are the biggest rip of in Hamilton and the guy behind the counter is a dirty greasy rat. They tried to charge me 3500 for a safety pass.went to another shop and passed no problem. You guys might be able to rip off old grandmas but not me. Dirt bags

At active green and Ross they pride themselves on customer service, I left a recent review stating that they had bad service and weren’t for the customer. One of the representatives called me and explained what went down in detail and told me exactly what went down. I do recommend this place because they not only recommend what to do but they accommodate for people with lower amounts of money. This guy gave me an amazing deal on brand new all season tires and even told me I had a slow oil leak on the top of my motor and recommended an engine UV thing (I don’t remember all I do remember is it finds out where the leak is coming from)

I brought my car in to have my front suspension looked at. I was informed of the problems and the work needing to be done very quickly. The job was done very fast and I’m very happy with the results. Thank you to the service manager Yegen for helping me through initial process. I’ll definitely be back in the future

Simply a joke. Refused to provide any DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE to patch my tire from a nail. Instead, I was told “I needed an appoitment”. Whoever was suppose to put air in my tire was beyond miserable, I just left. I explained I understood if I needed to leave my car for 1-4 hours as I worked walking distance to the shop. They didn’t even pretend to look at the schedule, didn’t even TRY to find a way. Speaks volumes on how little you’re willing to help individuals in critical UNPLANNED situations. Never in my life have I heard of any shop making a nail in a tire so complicated AND refusing to help.

I brought my car to Active green Ross because my car’s temperature gauge was not working. They did a diagnosis for about $164. They told me that the water pump wasn’t working in my car, (incl temp sensor and water out let) and they will fix it for $1832 included tax. I took it to another mechanic because the price was too expensive. The other mechanic told me that the water pump was working fine, since the car was driven that about 25km long when the weather was 30 degrees outside, and the hose between the engine and the radiator was not hot and the water should have been flowing properly between the engine and the radiator. I only needed to pay for the temp sensor and the water outlet. It only cost me $200. That means that Active green Ross tried to scam me. Avoid Active green Ross, they will claim that your car needs “fake” repairs as a scam.

Great service. We had extensive work done on the brakes of our 13 year old Mazda and were pleased with the work and service. Car running as good as new!

I am so impressed with the A1 service I just received from Active Green and Ross. These boys where slammed today and my wife unfortunately had a nail in her tire and was leaking quite aggressively. They said they could take care of it today but would need to squeeze it in between jobs. Next thing you know I received a notification threw text and email it was done and ready. Not to mention the great customer service friendly atmosphere. Couldn’t say enough how these boys look after there customers. Fast & quality in all aspects

Every time we take our car to Active (Upper Wentworth) we receive the same high quality of service. We have been taking our cars to Active for years and are always extremely satisfied with their work and their high standards of customer service. We wouldn’t think of taking our car anywhere else.

Last year my son took his BMW there for an alignment work. The job wasn't done right and when he got there the technician had the car running and he was revving the car so hard to hear the after market exhaust make noise. This had nothing to do with an alignment job.

Tony and his crew did an excellent job; were on schedule; and at a great price (a new set of Pirelli run-flats). I highly recommend!
