Took my vehicle here to have spark plugs changed. When I got the car back, I noticed severe misfires so immediately I went back. They found one of the new plugs was cracked. Claimed that it was damaged out of the box. Even if true, the technician should have checked it before installation. They replaced the cracked plug with another one, car still had misfires and would even backfire when driving at speed. They just revved the engine and told me the issue must have already existed before they worked on my car. Went to a different mechanic who replaced the spark plug (3rd time) and the ignition coil costing me about 400$. I understand AGR specializes in tires and suspension work, but if you accept a job, you should make sure to do it right.

I left when I discovered what they charge to put snow tires on (on rims). $79! Steelcase Tires does it for $60 which includes the balancing. Avoid.

I am treated like a customer where the employees and the owner want to do their best to give good advice and suggestions for the care of my cars. They recognize that budgets are tight with people nowadays and they do not recommend doing anything that is unnecessary. Good Team that I can trust

These guys were incredibly professional and courteous. My wife and I came to Toronto for a wedding from Long Island NY. Woke up at the hotel to go get coffee and oil pressure warning light came on. I called them on a Saturday morning and was told to come right down. They diagnosed the issue very quickly then the owner gave us a ride back to the hotel while they did the work. The truck was done in about 90 min. I can't thank them enough for how they treated us. If you live in the area I would highly recommend using them. 5 star shop all the way!

And their charges are always very reasonable.    As a woman, I felt the attitude from the staff at this particular location was respectful towards me and not dismissive as has been my experience at some other establishments.   Highly recommend this location!

I brought my car in during the recent snowstorm. The check engine light was flashing and the vehicle was unable to go more than 40km/h. A sensor needed replacing and my problems were resolved. My car was buried under snow in the parking lot and they dug it out for free. Saved me hours of time. Overall, great service everytime. Thank you Garo and Ken at Active GR!

Rip off service really

I took my car for inspection here and they came back with almost $3000 service charge for my perfect condition car! Wow! Brakes, routers, tires and wiper blades? They all function perfectly and all in great condition! They told me that I have to change all of them in order to pass safety! I’m pretty sure my car wouldn’t need anything to pass safety and it’s safer than many cars out there to drive. I will never go back to this place and I highly recommend everyone to avoid this location!

My car needed its winter tires installed and I had heard my brakes squeaking so we asked to have the brakes checked and expected to need them replaced. When we received a call about the car, we were told that the brakes were fine. The problem was some dust that had accumulated around the brake pads since the car had not been driven for a while. We were very pleased with the professionalism shown and have used this garage for many years with great service.

The folks at this Green and Ross store are exceptional, they go above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied with the service. Highly recommended!

From my experience when they fix any part of my car the fix lasts 2 months or less. This goes for brakes and any other parts that don't have to do with the engine.they always try to sell you parts and service you don't need. Go to a real mechanic it will save you more money in the long run.

I had new rotors, break pads and my winters put on. My car had damage in other locations that were not there before I brought it in.

Will update what fully happened later when I have more time. I really need to put this out there. Do not come here if you don't know anything about your car and how to maintain it. Do not come here if you are easily pressured into doing work on your car when you do not necessarily need to. Prices are not cheap here.

I honestly can not say enough about this shop. The team at this shop are more then one would ever expect.

I have two BMWs that I bring in to have them service. I don't ask for the cheapest price, favors or think I know more than them. As a customer, I do expect a high level of professionalism in the work they do and honest recommendations they give me. They have gone above and beyond there and I will continue to be their customer.

Went in for a warranty issue on my tire that had a bubble on the sidewall. I called AGR, and spoke to Shawn, and said I can come in anytime. After they inspected my tires, there was actually a second tire that had a small bubble on it. Fortunately they caught it, so I was able to get 2 replacement tires on a prorated cost. Also, Shawn was able to get me Michelin Pilot AS4 instead of the Uniroyal Tiger Paw AWP3. Tires were in stock and installed on my vehicle while I waited. Quick and efficient service from Shawn and the staff at AGR Thornhill on Steeles! Thanks!

I’ve been taking my Lexus RX 350 and Mercedes S class here and we always have great service. The team treats our cars like they are their own and service is usually done quite quickly! Just get our tires replaced here and we always come here for our car maintenance needs

I've been taking cars to Green+Ross at Shoppes on Steeles for years. They are friendly, helpful, and do their damndest to give you a good deal and do not overcharge. Excellent work and good neighbours.

Over charged for small tire repair. They charged $50 for something that should have taken 5 minutes and cost max $30 (ended up taking 30+ mins for a small nail puncture repair). Would not recommend! Especially unfortunate that they would rip off customers during the current circumstances.

Went there for after service follow-up.because we not paying any money to them. They just force to us to seat here for 6 hours just because they have other customers who are paying money to them. Please don't go to this place.

Very poor service.they keep you waiting forever. They only will give you priority if you are paying more money to them.

Very bad customer service. I just got there for the safety and for the first time when they need to take the money they got me the safety certificate with the issues with in just 20 minutes. By the way in the safety invoice they did charge me for whole one hour and the technician had hardly looked in to my car for 15 minutes. They had given me the report with all the issues and the total price to fix the issues way more. After getting the things done and when I again came with the solved issue to get the safety certificate which they had to do free if I get back to them with in 15 days they made me to wait for it for more then 3 hours. These people once they get the money they didn’t care about you anymore. If you are paying money they will get done in 20 minutes. Also NEVER GET YOUR SAFETY CERTIFICATE HERE. You can get cheaper in any other place then here. Also they will add some of the issues which is technically not an issue. THESE GUYS ARE HERE ONLY TO TAKE MONEY OUT OF YOUR POCKET. I REPEAT NEVER GET ANYTHING DONE IN THIS STORE.

Each time I bring a car in for service the staff do their best to explain the issue and the most economical way to fix it. They look after my needs in a friendly and professional way. I take all my family’s cars there because of the great service.

Best place to get tires as compared to canadian tire just because canadian tire doesn’t include wheel balancing in the price quote though their prices are cheap compared to other dealers but you get excellent service from this location and especially MR. HARDIK he provided me the best quote and service.

My family and I knew the previous staff and brought them a great deal of business. Those guys would get 4 or 5 stars.

The new crew is less responsive, less interested in customer needs, and I felt less comfortable dealing with them. They did adequate work changing tires though.

Brought our van in here for a simple oil change.
The van engine sounded off after the oil change. I checked the oil and thse idiots overfilled the oil way over. The oil dip stick showed the oil litterly double what it should be. Never again.

This company truly knows the meaning of customer service. We switched there for seasonal tire change and storage after some bleak experiences with our dealership. These people rose above and beyond. I recommend them highly to anyone needing care for their vehicle.

Got some winter tires and rims. The service was good until I told them that there was a problem with the tire sensors. They also installed all the tires in less than 30 minutes and I don't believe that they even balanced the tires as paid for. They ignored my frustrations and brushed me off like a spec of dust. Will not get any type of services done at this store ever again.

I am not giving this company even one star.
I took my car to 2900 steels Avenue for replacing my tires, after taking out all the tires they told me I have to replace my Inner tire rods. I trusted them and gave them permission to replace that part and paid more than $400 extra. After one year I went to Canadian tire to put the winter tire in and they told me the inner rods are loose and there is safety concern and you must replace it, I declined that suggestion and they took my signature for declining that.
A month after I took my car to the dealership and they told me the inner rods has cracks on and it's loose, at this point I couldnt decline it because it was my family's safety involved.
So I let the dealership to replace the inner rods which Green Ross replaced them a year ago.
Anyway I contacted Green Ross and I spoke to Marco the general manager and I sent him all the documents/invoices and ask him to help me with that because I paid more than $800 less than a year to replace one part.
The only thing I asked them was to refund the money I paid for the service that they didnt do
Properly. I waited 20 days and they sent me an email that they can not help me because I dont have a defective part. Then I contacted the head office and the refused to help me aswell.
This is an awful experience I had with this company and will never ever return to them for any service. Also I am not recommending this to anyone.
They are really unprofessional. They do not care about people's safety at all.
DO NOT RISK YOU AND YOUR FAMILY'S SAFTETY BY TRUSTING THIS COMPANY.

Horrible Job and even worse customer service! Brought my 2014 Toyota Camry for new brakes.paid over 1100 for nothing.my car sounds like an old truck; brakes are groaning and making so much noise and shaking just as it was before the supposed new brakes, pads etc.went back there for them to check it and that so called asst shawn said he didn't hear anything and had the gall to tell me i must be hearing another vehicle groaning and think its mine.just because i'm a woman doesn't mean i'm stupid, you did a dodgy job and think you got away with it. I know what i am hearing every single day! I am so upset horrible service.now i have to pay another 1100 for someone else fix it. Never again!

They are always no fuss, low pressure, willing to give advice. I come in to get my tires serviced/switched all the time and enjoy the mall next door while I wait.
