We were welcomed by the counter on both arrival and check out, the room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was really nice with a great variety, including bacon. The cook came right to our table to ask if we wanted to try fresh pastries from the oven. She even came out to fill a plate for a disabled man. Nice dining room and lobby. Only issues were lumpy pillows and no usb plugs. Everything else was a very pleasant and welcome surprise from most hotels.

I've lived here, and I can say that it feels average. I have happy things here, but also a lot of unpleasant things. I was a hotel management graduate three years ago, and the management here is abysmal, with no teamwork at all. I know that hotels in Canada will slow down in winter, but I have never seen a hotel with such a low occupancy rate, sometimes even less than 35%. Look at the Residence Inn next door, and you can see a lot of problems in Admiral Inns, don't forget that the Residence Inn room price may be higher than Admiral Inns.
Sometimes room cleaning is also very problematic, and some Housekeepers don't work hard at all, especially during check-in on weekends.
My suggestion is to stay at the Residence Inn next door. My girlfriend's good friend is at the front desk of the Residence Inn. The room and the service are better there, making you more comfortable. Or the Holiday Inn is also good, with a 24-hour guard.

Room was nice and large the place was clean! Breakfast in the morning was a full American breakfast buffet style!

Arrived after travelling non stop after departing the ferry from Newfoundland to the Executive Suite which had the seat up in the bathroom, dried urine all over the toilet, hair in the sink, tub, on the floor, dirt and other items on the floor, dust etc all over the furniture, grubby prints on the door, light switches mirrors. They offered us a lesser room (regular, not executive, with no discount. The room was just as dirty and we were exhausted so I just asked for some cleaners to do the best I could.

The property is spotless clean. All areas are very tidy, from lobby to room. Great shower pressure in the bathroom. There’s a pool and jacuzzi on the main floor. Great breakfast with several of options, just lacking a selection of fresh fruits. The staff is very lovely and the location is great!

Disliked · The bed is very noisy. A mini fridge was installed right next to the bed and every hour; on the clock, it would make an horribly loud roaming noise.

The lady on the phone Is very rude who I found out is supposedly the Boss I called around 2: 30pm asking How much the room and deposit is and she told me there’s one room $200 cash deposit then changed it saying it’s only credit card lol
when I called back she hung up and told me to figure it out myself without giving me the room price when I asked how’s much the room room is. She then threatened me with the Police when I asked to speak to the boss, She even picked up the phone and said nothing all I coulda hear was Breathing and no answer. Very rude.if she even is the boss

We checked in around 7: 20 PM EDT on 17th Sep, had reserved two rooms. The check process took 28 minutes, very outdated manual paper filing work. The front desk staff was very rude, won't even greet guests upon arrival. One of our rooms was facing the city side, right across the freeway.

It was not soundproof; couldn't sleep the whole night. We would not visit this property again and would suggest folks to check out nearby Residence Inn or other properties (away from the freeway). To top it; these guys charge you resort fees/has high charges. Their service was pathetic not worth the price.

There was construction right outside our window during the week that we stayed, which they were not in control of, but it would have been nice to know about when booking. Overall, I would reccomend and would stay again.

Don’t waste your money! It was really dirty and incredible old hotel. I noticed a few hair on my bed and I don’t think they changed sheet after who checked out!
What the front desk staff said and did was completely inconsistent. Do not consider this hotel compared to other hotels!

My room was great and comfortable. I love it when rooms come with fridges and microwaves and this room had that. Staff was friendly and kind.

I stay at a lot of hotels so when I heard we were staying at the admiral inn, I didn’t expect much because I’ve never heard of it. I was surprised to find out that it was a beautiful, clean hotel with good internet, friendly staff and great service. It is even better than a lot more expensive hotel chains. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good place to check it out here! My only complaint is that there’s no chocolate milk or almond milk at the breakfast and the towel rack was kind of weird, but in every other way this exceeded my expectations. 4.6 /5
Staff really did a great job of making me feel like a welcome guest at the hotel. I believe they all deserve a raise because with covid we have all had to deal with rude staff & this place seemed to be the opposite.

My go to place when visiting from out of town. Rooms are very well kept, they have a microwave and fr8dge in every room and also a great work out room with a sauna. Really wonderfull.

Very friendly staff at front desk and lady doing breakfast was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast included in price however room was noisy from traffic nearby. Hotel was clean and well situated.

Terrible hotel! Stay away. Me and my wife had booked a pet friendly room and after multiple follow ups, the pet friendly room was confirmed. At check in Im told the pet friendly room isn’t available and I will be given ground floor room #108. After a while, we noticed the AC has a timer of 4 mins and its on/off for the duration, no remote either! I called in the front desk manager at 10pm asking for a remote to cancel the timer and was given tv remote.:) He checked the AC and agreed the its turning off auto and suggested us to move out at 10.15pm, since he cant put us in another room - no pet friendly rooms available!
For verification purposes Im providing details below, since the management checks booking details but doesn’t maintain the room!
Edit: a new room was given after an hour long ordeal!

Stayed a night when on a business trip in Oakville. Complete satisfaction - comfy room, fridge, microwave, wi-fi. Good breakfast included. Friendly staff. Will gladly use again.

For start off I was simply trying to reserve a room for 3 nights, two gentlemen kept hanging up on me or putting me on a real long hold over the phone to only tell me they are real busy and have lots of check outs, so if that was the case as so called professionals wouldn’t you use your words and tell me can I call back just busy right now instead of hanging up on me or saying hold on, it’s that simple mind you I got hung up on 5 times back to back.

Très ordinaire comme hôtel D’abord nous avons appelé pour une arrivée tardive et là personne qui a répondu n’était vraiment pas sympathique. Nous avons rappelé une deuxième fois pour avoir de l’information sur des restos aux alentours mais pas mieux…Quant à la chambre, grands cheveux noirs sur le plancher de la salle de bain, draps tachés et poils dans le lit Nous sommes très déçus surtout pour une chambre à 200$ la nuit…C’est certain que nous ne retournerons jamais à cet hôtel! Le seul point positif a été le déjeuner mais ce n’est pas assez….

Rita at the front desk needs not only a attitude check, but a reality check.when speaking to a guest you dont argue let alone scream over the guest when having a conversation.screening for the customer service i believe should be taken much more serious.

Typical 2 or 3 star hotel. No safe or lockbox in the room. That was disappointing. Stayed from Monday to Friday and beds were made each day, but linens were not changed during this four day period, and I know this because there was a stain on the mattress cover that was present in the same spot each day. AC blows cold, staff were friendly, rates were fair.

I wouldnt stay here again. Heres a few reasons why.

1. When I checked in they charged me a $312.08 deposit fee.

2. I asked to be far away from a smoking room because I was having a surgury done, they put me right next to a smoking room that also had a dog inside.

3. The light is motel lighting, it was so yellow and there were only a few lamps. (Also if you want it to be completely dark in the room, forget it, the curtains wouldnt even close all the way, light was shining through like crazy)

4. There was only 3 small pillows in the room. I asked for 4 extra pillows because I was having a surgery done and was going to need to be seated up right comfortably. When I asked they couldnt even get me 1 extra! I told them that was absolutely absurd not to have any extra, an hour later my husband went to ask again and they gave him attitude, "oh you guys are the one that want a ridiculous amount of pillows" they were able to get together 3 extra pillows.

5. The blankets in our room had stains and holes in them.

6. The bath tub tiles and ceiling had mold.

7. The breakfast coffee and eggs were disgusting. (Home fries and waffles were the only good food.)

All in all, would not recommend the stay.

The South Asian man that was working at the front desk was very very disrespectful. I came in to book a room for my out of town family and he told me I could not afford the rates here. He hadn’t even given me a quote or availability information before immediately attacking me. I will not be providing this location business and will be telling everyone I know to never to book here. He did not even apologize. I will be speaking to his manager in the morning about this as well. Horrible service

Very loud guests. Felt like a motel with pretty much the atmosphere of party goers. Trying to be kind as I’m almost sure this place is used for escorts. Definitely not family oriented or for business stays. If you need sleep don’t stay here.

The staff were great. However the first room smelled like cigarettes. We were moved to another room, which smelt better but was not clean. There was hair all over the bathroom and tub, and the carpet was very dirty. The walls and lamp shade were dirty and the ceiling was visibly dusty.

Breakfast was odd - very overcooked bacon and undercooked hash browns (I saw another guest sneeze in them, twice - not the hotel’s doing, but so gross).

We will stay somewhere else next time.

I am writing this review on behalf of my parents who stayed at the Admiral Inn on April 7th. They checked in and found that the floor was visibly dirty. They wanted to shower, but found that there were no towels in the room, nor did they have any soap available. They said that the bed was made, at the very least.
When they slept that evening, they felt every movement the other made because the mattress was terrible. DO NOT BOOK HERE

Friendly staff clean building. Lots of amenities. However windows could use fixing did find cold drafts coming through. They did respect late morning building renovation noises for customers who like to sleep in.

Good location if drive / call cab or uber which is closed to Erin Mill Parkway exit. The room is huge & clean at all. Breakfast is simple but good enough especially the lady named Safy she's there provided the excellent services to the guests. I have to doubt to recommended this hotel to my friend and will stay when next visit definitely.

When we made the booking, more then a week in advance, were given the option to have a cot for out baby. When we got there the staff said they don't have that option at all. Did not try to accommodate us at all. The room had a water leak from the ceiling and the carpet in the hallway was all wet. Out baby got wet by crawling on the carpet. We waited for an hour with a tiered baby for the staff to come and see the leak and give is a different room. Both rooms were dirty. Carpets not vacuumed in weeks. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls. The toilet was made for kids. The heat fan in the room was so load we couldn't sleep. The most horrible experience in a hotel anywhere!
