I visited this store recently. Today was a better than normal experience based on my interaction with Suhail. Suhail went out of the way to help me find a cart as I was not aware the store did not offer small baskets. Thank you Suhail!
Also, Adonis should carry small baskets.

Everything sucks, it's stale, you're playing with people's health. I'll never come again

Love this grocery store. They serve food you can buy and eat at a eating area with tables and chairs. Even water to wash your hands before and after. They have meat chicken and fish counter. Prepared uncooked meat, freshly made pita on the premises. Their vegetables and fruit, fresh, clean, delicious, staff forever clearing the old ones. Extremely helpful, smiling, attentive staff. It is a joy to shop there.

The grocery section is good. Some items are reasonably priced, and some are overpriced.
The sweets are not good compared to the price.
Their cooked food/restaurant is excellent!
The butcher. Hmmm.sometimes it's good and sometimes is not! Cleaning/cutting chicken is not for free. Other stores, such as Iqbal, have better meats and cleaning/cutting is included in the fee. In general, they don't have good customer service at the butcher shop but that might be because of how much they are paid or respected by their managers.
No Idea about the fish section.

This wonderful place in every sense of the word, not only I know it a short time ago, but years ago, and it is one of the best places ever in everything

I shop frequently here find most products I need at reasonable prices. I spend about 300 a month here. I would give 5 stars if the store would pay attention to washrooms cleanliness.

I always shop at adonis because of the amazing experience with the fish chef Sonya she prepares food in a very professional manner and tast, she follows the instructions, and the guys who sells the fish are very helpful.

Great place to get halal and Mediterranean/Arab influenced food and grocery. Prices have gone up a bit but overall great place to shop!

Fresh produce, excellent assortment of meat and super friendly staff! The hot food section is awesome! They have the best roast chicken. One of my favourite grocery stores!

Pretty nice supermarket overall from what I saw. We went to try their fresh fish counter and they can cook it there for you as well. It was a great deal to say the least and the fish was fresh and clean. The cooking charge was very reasonable at $1.49 per pound and you don’t have to smell your entire house like a fish fry. You just choose any fish you like, whole or filet and ask them to fry it or grill it up to you. We tried both and they were all amazing. We ordered 10 Sea Bream fried and a 1 lb Orange Roughy Filet grilled and all came to $35 cooked which was a steal considering how expensive fish is when you eat out. I highly recommend you give the fish counter and kitchen a try one day if you haven’t already

Bad management,
The staff serving food behind the shawarma counter are rude no respect to the people wanting to be served next in line.

Had a shawarma sandwich, the most disgusting thing ever, big chunks of chicken and so dry with a blend taste. They have no idea what a shawarma sandwich is.

Great grocery store with fresh pita bread and hot bar. The falafel is some of the best I’ve tried in the city with a crisp shell and not too dense interior. The bread is warm, made in house, with a lovely chew.

Horrible service at the grill counter. New staff doesnt know what they're doing! I was waiting in line for chicken shawarma plates for over 20 minutes DURING LUNCH to find out they "don't know" IF they'll have enough chicken after they fill the 2 big orders! I left without food and called upon manager Salim for help. He said he doesn't know and can't comment regarding the chicken situation. He wasn't even willing to offer to walk over there and find out! I left without lunch for my kids. This is unacceptable!

Unfortunately I gave this store 5 stars in the past but not after today's treatment! Cashier number 1 Egyptian lady around 4pm today she was so rude and 0 customer services. She asked me twice if I needed a bag and twice I said yes please.after I paid she put the receipt beside my items and I asked her where is my bag.busy talking to her colleague she said now you can go! Really! I don't remember asking you for your permission if I can go or even sleep in the store! We all get frustrated and busy sometimes but not to offend someone just because I have more important things to do than listening to the customers who are helping your store stay open.

The 5-star is given to Sarwar at the meat department. I have purchased lamb shoulders and legs a few times for BBQ purpose and every time Sarwar wouldn't mind going extra steps to get the bones out and cut the lamb into small pieces, perfect size for kebab making. If you are looking for kebab-ready beef or lamb, the butcher Sarwar is the way to go at this Adonis location.

All your needs from the middle East under one roof! Reasonable prices & very good customer service!

Lots of varieties, ethnic food and pastry. Clean store. Friendly staff. Good prices, but be careful. You'll often find a different price on the shelf and the receipt.

Disgusting store, staff and customers don't even have a mask on.
Should close this place down and start a more decent and honest business.

This is an excellent place for Middle Eastern groceries all in one place. It’s a good store overall for home groceries.

Great selection, they carry alot of things that regular grocery stores don't. Organ meats, unusual cheeses, arabic desserts & alot of halal items. Some things were a bit pricey but mostly on par with others & many sale items.

Very bad service and There is no respect for the customer
I had a family event and went to buy a grilled fish meal from there. When I went to take the fish from there, the employee who received the fish from me for cooking me by giving me less than half the quantity in closed paper bags. I only discovered this when preparing the table in the midst of the guests, which made me extremely embarrassed and distressed. I called the branch, and after a lot of trouble, one of the customer service members replied and referred me to someone who is supposed to be an official or manager there. He spoke with him to remedy the situation and send me food because I am in a very embarrassing situation, and there is a delivery service in the store description But he refused and said you can talk to the branch manager tomorrow and if you want your food, bring and receive it again. I had to go there and travel about an hour back and forth in the rain and leave my family and friends at home to receive the rest of the food at the end and serve food to attend at 8 instead of 5: 30, which is cold and not good.

Hard working staff and patient.there was a client who created a big scene on the meat counter, he abused the Adonis staff but the staff was very good and patient he didn't react instead he was trying to calm the client. I don't know there names otherwise I would mention.they both deserve a pay increment and a promotion too.

Large supermarket with a lot of Middle Eastern product options and a good selection of prepared foods.

Good quality international food. If you've lived in the middle east you'll feel the vibes with the food and groceries.

They have good desserts and merguez sausages; and middle eastern things you can't find in regular stores. Was looking for fresh sardines, but they didn't have them this Sunday.

Wonderful for buying Middle Eastern and Turkish goods which you cannot find easily anywhere else.
The staff are not the friendliest.
Fish counter very fresh and nice.
Ready food counter has a lot of choice and is quite tasteful but again the staff can be friendlier and a little more smily.
Cleanliness not bad.
Managers are often around and supervising.maybe if they smiled the staff would as well…

I like shopping here but since it's far from me, I shop occasionally. I find items that are hard to buy anywhere else: like maamoul molds, fresh grape leaves, different brands zaarar and specialty Mid Eastern cheese. I even found makdous, and big jars of pepper paste (did not try them yet). Their Mid Eastern deserts though do not match up the originals made back home.
The fact is nothing will match up the yammy taste of back home food.

Such an amazing store. Huge location, massive variety of foods. Meat section, cheese section, nuts & olive section all had huge, fresh varieties. Good deals on the meat too.

I'm leaving my second review as I was at Ado us in Scarborough back on July 18/21 in the evening.again I came home with a massive abundance of meats, healthy breads, olive oils, and spices. I admire how hard the staff all work.especially the Deli and Meat Section staff.when I was at the cashier checkout I was so happy with the nice lady cashier names NAZ.
She was so friendly and helpful and a wonderful person to talk to.
I hope NAZ will be considered for a promotion.

I got ground beef from Adonis, it was terrible, they had mixed the old and the new ground beef, I never go there. They cheat in meat department.

Pricey than usual stores, 30 to 40% up on almost everything, somebody from the price control authority or consumer board should notice in this regard

Love verities. Able to find a lot of authentic food and many Persian cuisine items. Arabic delicacies of course. Green plumes (goje sabz) chaghale badoom.persian know what I mean.

I got 1 kg of mixed baklava on friday June 14. On Sunday I was serving the baklava on Sunday it was old stuff you can taste the staleness of the ingredients. I got another box to give as I gift and I was told it was the same.

I am very disappointed for this quality of product.
I am sure I will not recommend it to anyone

Picked up a "Fresh" Baba Ghanouj from their newest store in Mississauga and got home only to find out that it's rotten. Great impression from Adonis' newest branch. Well done!

Always fresh, clean, food section is great, always fresh halal meat. Love all the middle Eastern products.

Love this supermarket. Carries all sorts of specialty Middle Eastern food, fruits & vegetables, pickles, juices, snacks, and tea. It also has a fresh bread baking belt, bakery and pastry section, halal butcher and deli meat, restaurant, and precooked meals you can take home to bake. It's large and clean and always busy. Lots of parking in the plaza

Beware of cashier and them charging extra items on your grocery list. I was charged 8.33$ for an item I did not buy. Apparently I was charged for two frozen products that I do not know of and never brought home. It's right in the middle of the receipt. I've been shopping here for bread, meat and vegetables since day 1 when they opened the store. But this sort of robbery and dishonesty really hurts their business and image. So, as a suggestion always watch out when they are scanning at the cash. Really disappointed.

We love this large Middle Eastern grocery store with a great selection of interesting items. They also have ready to eat hot food. The service is good. The parking is free. The prices vary.

Just happened now! Because I was on the phone the lady at the cheese dep heard I said I want 5 blocks of white bolgarian cheese and all I wanted was 500gr I apologized for the mistake but her attitude was rough! When I moved to buy olives while waiting for my turn, she told her colleague not to deal with me because an talkington the phone, she replied "I will not serve her! " I speak Arabic so I understood the chat, I said thank you and left!
Although Adonis is not very close to where I live but I always go there, I will never do it again. This wasn't an acceptable behaviour.

The overall prices of grocery items are on a higher side and customer service is poor. The quality of meat, sweets, cooked food and fresh flat bread overshadows their customer service flaws. Can be visited for the above said items otherwise go to major grocery retailers.

Great supermarket with a great bakery. The bread is amazingly fresh. Good value for the hot table as well. Overall good quality Mediterranean food.

I love shopping here just for the fresh pita bread and fish. The store management are ok but could be better. Most cashiers are rude and speak in Arabic even though some customers don’t understand.except one girl, she’s new. She helped my mother bag her items and even put her items in the cart for her. When I see her, I only go to her cashier. She always has smile on her face.

Really good variety of eastern middle eastern Mediterranean cusijine at fairly affordable prices. Good choice in fruits and vegetables sections as well.

Everything you could possibly need at reasonable prices. Some things are a little expensive, but the more unique/specialty products are really cheap. I'd recommend eating there, try the shawarma sandwich.

The food is wonderful amways fresh and the intire place is so clean. I love going there. Staff is super nice and very helpful especially when my parents are old and they shop there alone.

Even less than one star I bought cake for 21 $went home the cake so old so dry it’s not worth even one dollar at least should the old stuff on discount never again I threw it in garbage

Very large grocery store with lots of offerings at the fresh meat counter or bakery. A lot of products are centered to middle East customers. Overall great store.

Large, clean and nice Arabic style grocery store. In this store, you can find unique Arabic products with reasonable prices. There are foods, bakery and pastries that you can have fresh. The bakery bakes fresh pita bread and you can watch them while baking.
