Food - More emphasize towards gravy and not the actual dish. Tried a couple dishes, all had a similar taste. Tandoori chicken, extra marination was present. No actual taste of the food was present. Mostly spices and some of the dishes couldn’t be adjusted as per customers taste for instance chef can’t reduce the spices of chicken dum biryani. For juices, Rubicon juice was served with added soda. Tried paneer dish as well, hardly 100grams of paneer and rest was all tomato gravy.

Service - restaurants are rated by their service seriousness. No proper set up of tables. Tables are just added wherever space is available. There were tables right in front of the bar. They had to move the bar stools to the side to leave space for servers to move around. How about if someone wants to sit at the bar? Bar counter was left unattended with at least 50 used glasses and trays. Let alone to order, no one would like to have a glimpse of the bar.
Took 45 minutes to bring in appetizers and that too was only one dish. I wonder how time efficient they could be given they take reservations only. When told them about the service, server said SORRY WE WERE BUSY IN THE AFTERNOON SO EVERYONE MIGHT BE EXHAUSTED. Please note we had an evening reservation. They don’t even know the meaning of being busy. Come check Avaani in Mississauga and you would know what busy really looks like. Adrak would be a fish market if they had Avaani crowd.

Atmosphere - not very welcoming. No boards for receptions or attendant. Customer won’t know where to go if no one is standing at the door to welcome you. We were made to sit in front of the main door. It was cold and whenever door opened we felt the cold breeze chilled our legs and the whole body. Had to wear jackets to stay seated. Our table wasn’t changed even though other tables were available. Please be noted, those tables remained unused till the time we were there, means no reservations were there.

All in all, it was a failure. Please don’t waste your time and money. Try some better place!

This has been one of our favourite Indian restaurants we have found to dine in with family and friends for special occasions. Menu items are unique and always delicious however the portions are small (perfect for 2). This was our 3rd visit and we felt the service had gone down a little and the space was also conjugated compared to our first two visits.

We have gone to Adrak quite a few times in the past few years and have always been more than happy, however our visit yesterday was quite disappointing as it seems the quality of the food had significantly decreased. The service was good and on point but unfortunately the food was not.

Went for dinner after 8 years… nothing has really changed, well almost nothing. The service is still very slow, the restaurant atmosphere looks out dated and the food has gotten very expensive. How do you charge $6 plus tax plus tip for one piece of nan. The nan was not even that good. Overall the food is just ok. The alcohol price is very expensive as well.yes the prices have gone up every where but it should be reasonable.

Probably one of the best Indian food experience I had in canada.

Food was very authentic and the best food, I ever had in canada.
Service was very precise and smooth.
Ambience was very comforting.

Been going here since long time. Service is great. Food is always great though last time chicken was a little dry. Just one off experience I guess. Lala's lassi xoxo. Amazing soya chaap. Always been a huge fan of their Afghani Naan but they don't serve it anymore I suggest they start serving it again, may be in a smaller portions so more people can afford it. Highly recommend to go here

It’s an overrated, over priced, tasteless food restaurant. Food was either bland or too much of chilly powder. Apparently the chefs don’t know the concept of flavors which Indian food is known for.

Overall the food was pretty good. My family is West Indian so we aren't that knowledgeable of the East Indian dishes but we know a bit. Seems like most of the poor reviews are due to poor service. We went for dinner on a Wednesday evening so we had 4 staff members attend to us. Everyone was nice and we didn't wait too long. We only had a few minor service issues but nothing to really complain about - everyone was trying. Only complaint was that a few items were sold out but the waiter wouldn't ask what we wanted instead - they kind of just told us what we would receive lol. "We dont have coconut kulfi but we have malay. " Then they just start to walk away assuming you're ok with it. Overall its good, and WAY better than The Host nearby.

I tried to order for delivery twice but they rejected my order both times. However, I like their food alot. You will love to dine in here but I am not sure about their delivery service.

Being a foodie, I will rate this place 4 out 10 in terms of taste. I was told that it's a Rumali roti, and it was joke! It was pretty cold, and very thick. Not a rumali roti at all and I was charged $8 for it. + when I told that it was cold. I think they just applied some oil reheated it and got it back. I was speechless and I just wanted have good time with my family there and leave. I did not bother pass any comments there.

Vegetable biryani was a beans puplav. Raita was so damn Salty!

I enjoyed the mango lassi and the mojito. And the green chutney that was given with an appetizer.

May be being a foodie and being explored so many places my expectations were higher from this place for the price tag they had.

Fyi, I had only vegetarian dishes. They might be good at non-vegitarian dishes. Not sure though.

The only + side I see is the ambience. Even that's okay, not out of the world. But honestly not worth the price at all.

If it's a special day and you want to have good food. Find a bettwe place.

If you want to order a pick up, ignore this place. It isn’t worth even for the good food. You will get a lot of sorry as free, but no respect to customer’s time. By the way, I still love your food. About two hours and still food not ready? Come on guys! Every time!

Best Indian restaurant in gta area, just like eating in a good delhi restaurant. Also the service is top notch unlike all other Indian restaurants in gta.

We did a take out order for Saalim Raan along with Garlic and Plain Naan. The food was absolutely delicious, packed extremely well for take out. Pick up service is very well organized and ready for time requested. This is why we keep coming back.

Platter starter was awful, service was ok & receptionist was rude. Ask for Roti & naan but forced to eat naan charged for it. Order was mess but food was good other than platters.

I usually do not leave a review, but the service i got deserved a review.the food was fantastic but the service is unprofessional, very poor.we got there, no one attended to us.even though they saw us i had to literally ding the bell before some one to seat us.later i ask the guy who even did not ask for vaccination proof.his name dilawar he forgot our appetizer to order and went straight to main course later on we ask for our appetizer he was confuse and he did not even say sorry, looks unprofessional, no knowledge of food.because of this man our diwalli mood was off, yesterday, waste of time and waste of money we will never visit again.

Food and Ambience is really good, as soon as we serve our food hostess are so eager to take away our dishes and looks like they want customers to leave place immediately without providing proper time for decisions.service need to improve.

Daal Makhni is beat in class so far in entire toronto.
I've been to lot other restaurants, however didn't find such tasty food. Must visit for vegetarian people.

I place an order at 8: 36pm. They said 20 mins, I ended up waiting 45 mins. If you are ordering from here… don’t rush.

The food was BOMB though. I don’t think I can ever give another Indian restaurant more than a 3.

I got the Thali, it’s only a takeout special. 2 small pieces of potato pakora + 2 meat curries + 1 veg curry + rice + naan + dessert (1 gulab jamun).

Around $20 bucks.

MISSING: they should add a Raita for pakora and rice. It was weird not having those sauces.

This is the best Indian food I have had in GTA

It gets 4/5, for making me wait an extra 25 MINS after work.

Had a great experience again and lovely delicious food. They have best professional and friendly staff. Food was amazing visited 2nd time ordered different food items than last time still Amazing. The staff member Varun welcomed us. Will visit for sure soon and try different options of food. Thank you guys.

Excellent service, top notch food, nice ambience, superb menu to order from.

It can be considered as a full fledged fine dine restaurant. Spices in the food seem perfectly balanced, good portions in a platter. Authentic India Vibe!
I personally try to figure out how can I improve any platter from any restaurant that I go to, but I couldn't do it here. Food seems so perfect.

Very clean, professional environment and friendly staff. Strict safety measures are taken.
Vegetarian and non veg dishes are made separately as per the staff. Some dishes are made garlic and onion free as per our choice. Malpua and rabri dessert is delicious.

Food and service are excellent. The place was a little smokey for my liking but otherwise I would recommend this place.

Experienced a great food and service. If its your first moment as together do visit here. Stafff was soo good and attended so attentively. Service was fast and quality and quantity was awesome. Will visit here again and again for sure.

Good place for fine dining, however the service could be better with reservations, couldn’t get a table at 7: 30pm for the rest of the night. However, it has the best Chicken biriyani I have had in the GTA.

Had a birthday party with about 60 people. Fantastic food and the service team went over and beyond what was expected.

Great food, refined Indian cuisine with great flavor. Strongly recommend their dals and veggie mains. Also, nice ambiance and staff.

Don’t forget to book your reservation in advance as it can be hard to get a seat, especially during the busy hours

We had our wedding dinner event at Adrak and it was one to always remember! The manager, Varun and his team were fantastic and ensured that every little detail was taken care of and our expectations were all met just as discussed. Varun took the time to meet with us on several occasions prior to the day of to go over every detail and ensure our expectations were met. Some of our guests also had dietary restrictions which were catered to by the Adrak team. Every item on the menu that night was nothing short of delicious and the same sentiment was shared by all our guests! A big thank you to chef Rahul for preparing such a delectable menu filled with flavor that will keep us coming back. Thank you Varun, thank you Rahul and thank you to all the staff at Adrak for making our special day perfect and so memorable!

The restaurant itself has such an amazing vibe and atmosphere. The lighting and interiors give a very warm vibe. The staff was very patient and friendly. The food was the highlight. It was so delicious and the portions were good sizes as we were six people and we feasted the day we went to eat there. The other good thing is they have a lot of Jain options amd they are made really well as well. So it is a must try as well if you prefer jain food.
