I never recommend this place. Front desk service is good. Over the phone guideline is ok. Recently my wife had a Colonoscopy & Endoscopy. Usually it comes back to normal within Maximum two days, As she did it in hospital before. But at this place at this time, after the procedure she is having too much pain and fissures & hemorrhoids that she never had in her lifetime.almost Ten days suffering then able to schedule an appointment for consultancy. Prescribed medication and still we have to wait until it cures. I have no idea that their process is different than the hospitals. Ruined my Christmas holidays.
Colonoscopy today. My first here but four others done at three local hospitals plus Rudd Clinic in past 11 years, so I can compare. This clinic is professional, efficient, and hygenic. Would refer family and friends.
Edit: it turns out the surgeon botched my surgery and I’m going to have to go somewhere else to get it corrected. Do NOT come to this clinic for ingrown toenail surgery, or any services tbh.
Original review: This clinic is always running an hour, to an hour and a half, late. This is especially vexing because they call you (sometimes several times), to move the time of your appointment up - and then force you wait past the time of your original appointment. As soon as my surgery was done, the surgeon left, without reviewing the aftercare with me, and without prescribing any kind of painkillers. I will not be coming back.
I went there for my husband endoscopy everything went well the doctor who did the endoscopy never bothered to see him and referred us to another doctor, she did the endoscopy so she is the one who will give us the medicine but it was not the case and from march to June the medicine did nothing and after a long time of waiting thankfully we got another doctor. Hopefully they will get things straightened
Last time I was there, everything was good. No problems. This time. I found, the receptionist rude. She, screwed up my intake paper. Putting, the wrong allergic medicine down. The nurse couldn't get the I. V in. Tried twice. The anesthesiologist ended up doing it. It took 4 pokes. And, slapped my hand really hard, the one with arthritis. I asked them to be careful with my nose. I had operations. It said, Gastritis.and Hemorrhoids But, the doctor said, everything is normal. I am confused. I couldn't drink all the peglyte this time. It was making me nauseated. The lady at the end. She, was kind and helpful.
Dr. Nicholas Gaudet is very irresponsible and always rushing the process, terrible attitude, he’s absolutely not worth to spend your time on, very unprofessional person.
Kudos to Rahila! What an excellent service. I had to get endoscopy done for my father and Rahila gave us an excellent service with the appointment services. Not only she went in detail with the process she also helped me to get an earlier date. I had mentioned to her if there’s a cancellation with any appointments to call me and let me know and after a couple of days she called me and booked me an earlier date. Thank you very much to Rahila and the team.
Advance Endoscopy and Specialist Centre. The Mississauga location Great experience! I went in to have Gastro- and colonoscopy and the entire process went so well and smooth from the reception to the MD specialists everyone were so professional, kind and knowledgeable. I am so blessed and pleased with the service I received during my procedure. I will continue to be referred to this location in the near future as long as it's in business.
I dreaded today"s appointment for my colonoscopy but it turn out to be a stress-free and efficient experience. The staff was polite, patient, and knowledgeable from the receptionist at the front to the nurses who take your information and prep you for the procedure, to finally where you meet the staff that does the procedure like the attending nurse, and the anesthesiologist and of course the surgeon. It was surprisingly fast, the nurse put in the IV line for sedation, then I was wheeled into the operating room where I met the operating room staff. The anesthesiologist put in the sedation, I was talking to him, then I woke up back in the recovery room and the procedure was done. The nurse came by to check on me and said I could leave after the surgeon comes by to tell me my results. No Colon Cancer was detected, and No Polyps, and they gave me a paper with the results and dietary suggestions.
I had to call and cancel an appointment with more then 72 hours notice and I was given a lecture about their cancellation policy. This is also the same clinic that let my husband leave on his own after being sedated. They made me sign a waiver that I would be picking him up, gave me a time to pick him up and dismissed him 15 mins before the scheduled time they gave me. They made him wait outside on a bench in the middle of winter with no coat (because i took it with me when they told me I couldn't wait in the waiting room and that they were responsible for personal belonging) he was frozen and confused. When i spoke to the manager she was dismissive and rude and told that I should've been there on time. Absolutely terrible
I have to say their team work is the best! Everyone knows what to do and my gastroscopy procedure was super smooth. Dr. Deol was very patient. All staff including one working front desk was patient and professional. You feel you are treated as a human being. I recommend this clinic!
The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They made my endoscopy and biopsy experience so easy. The doctor was very nice and thorough when explaining the results of my endoscopy.
Their website doesn't have the doctors names (no need of their photos) and profile to give assurance to patients who will be taking care of their colonoscopy or treatment. I think this is a must. Some of these doctors do not even have linkedin profiles.
On November 1st of this year 2021 I went to have both procedures and I was treated with kindness with respect and the nurses were absolutely adorable. The doctors were very nice and attentive and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend these guys if you need to go to a place like this.
I went for colonoscopy over there. They are working well if you prepared yourself as per their instructions, which are for us (patients). Do as directed, if you don't wish to go back just do as they provide the instructions, while you book an appointment. I think they took time for what is needed. If you do not follow their instructions for any procedure, then be ready to go home and that is valid and they are worried about our safety. So for your own self please follow the instructions. Just do as directed. All the best for you procedure.
I was there for my colonoscopy couple of years before and today my wife, Afroza khatun got done her endoscopy and colonoscopy simultaneously in this centre at 2227 #303, south millway, Mississauga. Their services were amazing, specially the manners of the doctors and nurses were soft, smiling and friendly. This place is very clean and tidy.
I had a Colonoscopy here. The doctor removed a polyp and I feel better. Friendly service all the way. I did forget to ask them to look at my tummy. I have Hernias and a fatty liver etc. I don't want another Colonoscopy. I will wait till next year.
Had an awful conversation with either the receptionist or associate. The person came off extremely rude before I could explain why I missed my ‘first’ appointment at that place (in January during COVID lockdown conditions). First of all, they don’t have any right to speak that way to patients who decide not to entrust them with my health. No one owes you anything. Learn to be human.
This clinic is a model of excellence in healthcare! I had a colonoscopy here in May and also in 2018. Dr Moncrief who conducted the procedure both times is superb. She actively listened to my questions and concerns and addressed them all. Dr Ma who sedated me is also superb. He too asked me if I had any questions or concerns and explained what to expect from the sedation. Felicia, who took down all my info, is also superb. And so is Sheena who took me into the procedure room. Given the consistency in my stellar experience for my 2 visits 3 years apart, I highly rate this clinic and 5+ stars! An excellent model for other healthcare clinics to emulate! Congratulations and Thank you! RU
I had my endoscopy done on June 17/2021 (just recently) I got said that the whole experience was just amazing. I was very scared because I haven't been under general anesthesia in 20 years. The nurse who attended me her name Felicia or phaelicia, iam not sure how to spelled, she was beyond nice and informative, the 2 assistant in the room was very nice and ready, no delays, very focused. Dr Siquib Siddique was very gentle and specific and when he figure out how nervous I was, he explained to me one more time the procedure and not to be nervous. When I woke up I was very comfortable and the discharge was pretty fast as well. I really recommend this place.
Recently my sister underwent a procedure here. Our overall experience of our visit here was very pleasant. From getting the appointment till the completion of the procedure it all went smoothly. The receptionist was courteous, professional and welcomed suggestions that we made. My sister experienced similar politeness and professionalism from the entire team from the time she was taken into the procedure room till the time procedure was over. The team even made sure that all is well before she was allowed to go home. In addition in this challenging situation of COVID pandemic the entire team made sure of the compliance of all the additional protocols to keep everyone safe. It was an exemplary level of customer service that we received and would highly recommend this Centre.
I came here to share my experience about the rude staff answering the calls and was immediately validated by their 3* rating along with numerous similar complaints. Smh. Hopefully these complaints result in better service delivery. You guys are in healthcare so act like you care when speaking with patients!
My son had endoscopy a month ago and the doctor told him he would call in a week to tell him the results of the h pylori test and we are still waiting for this call
I strongly recommend this center, treated with respect by a very professionally trained team.the receptionist was very informative and helpful. Highly recommended
Best doc I ever met = not rushed, explained EVERYTHING & provided print out explaining results (great cuz many doc spots u cant remember what they told u 5 minutes after leaving ~ usually rushed!)
My mom's appointment was scheduled for 1045am.then she took it upon herself to call just to make sure her appointment was on time.when she called they told her the appointment was rescheduled for 1145am, not having the curtsey to call or give us an update also we got there for 1145am and she wasn't seen until 140pm. Very terrible with timing and scheduling. Please keep in mind she had nothing to eat for 18hrs.
My family doctor submitted a referral, they called the next business day. The wait was less than a week to be seen. I showed up 2 mins late for the appt and they were phoning and waiting for me.boom all set up ready to go, the nurse did a flawless job putting the iv in.lights out* woke up with my results feeling nice and well rested lol 100% painless! Amazing Job from all the staff!
I didn’t feel comfortable there, only the receptionist is nice and respectful but the staff inside are strangers and unhelpful, I recommend to go to other place.
I was pretty scared at the beginning but the staff were very friendly. Short wait, and during recovery a nurse checked on me three times to make sure I was alright. The doctor came back in a short while later and briefed me on what he had seen. I got some information to bring home too. Good experience, considering the circumstances
Had about as much fun as you can at this place. I was very scared at the beginning as I walked in. The staff were exceptionally friendly, my wait was very short, and while I was recovering I had a nurse check on me twice to make sure I was okay. The doctor came in when I was fully aware and briefed me on what she had seen and gave me some information. All in all I would go back and do it all over again if I had too
The worst experience ever. They were not able to complete the work, because they said my throughout is too tight to pass through. I haven't heard such a thing! And the IV was such painful that the pain is still in my hand even after 4 weeks. I couldn't move my fingers for a week. And they told me to remove my clothes and it was super cold specially for some one who couldn't eat and drink for 12 hours. Find another place.
Thank You to all the staff and doctors who looked after me recently! The care and service given to me was excellent by everyone thank you all again. Chris K
Useless scheduling appointments as they have horrible wait times. Whether it be for a consultation or procedure expect to wait in reception area for over an hour before being seen. Asked to be at appointment half hour before procedure, pointless as you just sit in the waiting area for at least an hour.
Logistics: although the clinic's time management skills might be sub-par, their commitment to following up with disgruntled patients is on point.after a miserable experience today - and my insistence to speak with someone who could remedy the situation - I was called by senior management who personally apologized for the misunderstanding and promised to make it right for the future.services: visited this clinic more than once for various procedures, and the service was professional, friendly, and courteous.the medical staff knows what they are doing and treats every patient with the care they deserve.organization: could be improved, but is generally very good.there are a few edge cases where misunderstanding and misinformation has resulted in wasted appointments and delayed start times, so make sure you've provided all the information possible beforehand.
They made a mistake from the beginning and scheduled colonoscopy for me, while my family doctor requested sigmoidoscopy. When my doctor pointed to their mistake, they scheduled a consulation (?) instead, for which I had to wait a month. I was curious why they were ready to proceed with colonoscopy right away (in 5 days), but needed a consultation for much simpler procedure. As it is become clear they had no intention to proceed with "simple" procedure at all. During this so called "consultation", the lady, who forgot to introduce herself and who knew nothing about me (did not even bother to look at the questionnaire I completed before my visit), started to "push" me right away to agree for colonoscopy, because "my family doctor is not a professional" (!) and FIT test, I mentioned to her, "is useless" (!). I was upset that I wasted my time for this so called "consultation" (and a months of wait time), but at the same time I was happy that now I can make an informed choice and do not trust my live and my health to someone, who has no respect to the patients and other doctors.
Excellent and efficient service. Kind, friendly and professional staff, nurses and doctors. They're also very patient and helpful on the phone, and explain the procedures in detail. I was expecting my visit to be anxious and long, but it was quite the opposite. I definitely recommend this place.
I'm Faten Bakkar. Today I had a colonoscopy and Endoscopy in this center. Dr. Anas Alkassem is a respectful professional. Dr Youssef is so kind too. The staff was friendly. They are punctual and friendly. I highly recommend this center.
Very professional workers and take care of their patients. Receptionist was very kind and soft spoken, and calls a couple days before to confirm appointment. Nurses were all nice and talk to patients. They make sure you leave the clinic with someone else.
I was so scared prior to getting my Endoscopy. ALL of the staff is warm and friendly and calmed me down a lot. I recommend this facility to anyone who needs a Colonoscopy or Endoscopy. Thank you to the management and staff for making this a pleasant experience.
I will not go to this place again, doctor and receptionist doesn't ask you to book follow up appointment. I had to keep calling them and the next follow up date is atleast 30 to 40 days after which is not ideal for me.
The head of the receptionist is very rude, I asked her to change my appointment which was 40 days after to be sooner and she was very rude and not willing to listen and understand what I was saying.
I consulted different clinic and everything sorted out in 15 days.
I had my colonoscopy done at Advance Endoscopy and I was very impressed with the warm welcome from staff and the professionalism during the procedure. I strongly recommend this place.
From start to finish my experience was very professional.
During my initial consultation I was met with a warm greeting. I was well informed and had all my questions answered prior to the procedure during my initial consultation with the Doctor, Nurses, Technicians.
On the day I was met and signed-in by a very professional and courteous receptionist.
I was in the presence of very professional nurses who carried out my contraindications and assisted me throughout my visit for my procedures.
The anesthesiologist was a true delight to have met, amazing lady.
The Doctor performing my procedure creates the strong sense of feeling your in incredibly safe hands. Great Doctor
I was not allowed to leave unless somebody showed themselves in person, to prove I was not departing alone in a vulnerable state after a procedure involving anesthesia, (My friend was late). You will find the policy can not be challenged.
If I could give 6 stars i would. This facility deserves it for their professionalism and strong management.
Total waste of time. They can do better on keeping to appointment time especially when you ask patients to come 30minutes before the appointment time and your are at least 40mins late before calling them in for procedure prep. We had an appointment for 1pm got there at 12: 20pm and we didn’t get called in till 1: 45pm for the procedure prep and we didn’t leave till 3: 30pm. Keep in mind most times patients are supposed to be fasting for these procedures and delay can be very dangerous.
Even Having an appointment booked for 2pm and being 15mins early to fill out the forms completing it before 2pm, we did not see the doctor till 3 pm for aa 10 min consultation
Very nice and professional people, Receptionist, Nurses and Doctors. Advance Endoscopy & Specialist Center is very clean and the procedures look the same as the one in a famous hospital. Everything was smooth and on time. Great Job everyone at Advance Endoscopy & Specialist Center
Terrible experience.managment doing terrible job. Booked us for morning then changed it to noon.said will be done in an hour max.been waiting 2&half hours in bed then they tell theres no anestetian! Seriously? Why then keep appointments and not rebook if an emplyee said they r not coming apparently for an emergency? Patients are all upset only then finally the "manager" comes to tell us that! This place is BS period. Oh its the coxwell location.
Very caring staff, I came in for an ongoing issue with my Colon. Dr. Pritchett is the best. The clinic is very clean and has all amenities. The procedure (colonoscopy) was done without any issues.
Tania (the receptionist) has a great smile and and is very accomodating.
They tried to get me a CT Scan appointment way ahead of schedule.
People here are all very friendly, especially the front desk.the doctor is very patient, and she always takes time to explains the details of what is happening inside your body.
