The technicians and receptionist were great to deal with. Very professional, courteous and promptly showed up at the scheduled appointment time. Our heater broke down early on a Saturday morning and they attended within a few hours to assess. We required a small part, however they weren't able to place an order until Monday, at which point the part arrived on Tuesday and they promptly replaced it that same day. I still gave a 5 star however the company needs to arrange a better arrangement with a parts supplier (s). Waiting a day for shipping is reasonable, however waiting 3 days cause they can't order over the weekend is not, especially in the winter time. They offered to provide space heaters free of charge, which was a nice gesture. Once again, a great team and company, would still recommend them.

Our furnace was not putting out heat. We called Affordable Heating and Comfort who provided several options for appointment times. Their operators were polite and professional. Jerome arrived to help us out and was great. He called before arriving, asked some questions and ran his tests. Our control board needed to be replaced. Jerome checked and thankfully ours was under warranty for the part and they had one in stock at the office. After a quick run to get the board he returned and had our heat going again in no time. I had a a/c home maintenance today. Anthony from affordable comfort and heating was very professional polite and friendly as always. 5 Service highly recommend

First I called on Reliance to come and fix an A/C issue which should have been covered under their service plan. Reliance told me they couldn't fix it, citing an outdated coolant being used and that we should possibly think about a new unit which I agreed to talk about with a salesman. Well the salesman came over and tried to not only sell me a new A/C unit but a new furnace as well. And not just to buy but to lease it off Reliance at a rate which would only cover 5 years of the cost if I just bought it outright.

So something smelled fishy so I declined all future business and called up Affordable Comfort. A technician by the name of Glenn came by and told me I had a simple capacitor issue which would cost less than a couple hundred for a new one. There was no coolant issue or leak, the pressure was fine. He installed the new part and everything ran like it did before. Thanks to Affordable Comfort I will be using them for all future maintenance from here on out. And thank you Glenn for your professionalism. Reliance tried to scam my family or the specific people who showed up tried to scam us (Jeff and Josh I think). The salesman used his typical high pressure tactics on me but I saw right through him before he opened his mouth.

Anyways, Caveat Emptor!

(Also Reliance will get the bill for the fix or I will see them in court, the repair should have been covered under their plan).

Honestly I am so glad I called them to look at my AC. It’s barely 2 years old (from a different company) and it just stopped working and Lloyd the technician from affordable home comfort got it working super quickly and he showed me what the issue was. I will only call them for now on if I need anything else done with it and I will request Lloyd always.

I Would recommend this company to anyone interested in the installation of a thermostat. Anthony was on time and provided me with a professional installation. He explained how to program the thermostat and even got it connected to my WiFi and showed me how to program the thermostat on my cell phone via an app. I am happy that everything worked out well. I will call again next time I need HVAC help!

We had a great experience with this company. We turned out a/c on last week and it didn’t work. It was old and we weren’t surprised. We started looking up places we could call and ended up calling comfort heating and cooling because they were able to send a technician out on a Saturday. He came right on time and was so friendly and helpful. He really tried to get our air going and spent a lot of time installing different parts, but in the end it was a no-go. He called into the office and a salesperson came out that same day. We discussed what we wanted and he gave us a timeline of about a week.
A couple of days after that we got a call from the office offering to come out that day if we were available. We were, so two technicians came out and installed our new air conditioner. Ryan and Matt were both great…. Professional, friendly, and good at their job. We were very pleased with the job they did. I especially liked how personable they were, spending some time once they were finished to speak with us and make sure we had no concerns. They were also great with my kitten, making sure she didn’t get out the door when they were going in and out.
From start to finish, we were extremely pleased with this company, their staff, and the workmanship. I highly recommend them.

The HVAC Specialist Jim Prince was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was professional and knowledgeable and took the time and care to come up with the best possible gas piping configuration, that was both cost effective and esthetically proper for our home. Although my wife and I elected to wait on getting a pool heater installed, which was entirely due to the timing of the heater cost itself, we will certainly contact Jim and Affordable Comfort in the future!

The first technician misdiagnosed the problem.i had no heat. Next 3 technicians which included 2 during installation were very good. The sales rep Mr. Jim Prince was superb. Great customer service. Our AC unit stopped working during a heatwave in July. They were able to come same day and repair our AC unit within hours. Very much appreciated!

Came to diagnose a blower not turning on. Concluded that it was the blower motor itself and told me that because it was an unconventional system, they can not replace it. It would be too difficult. I said I didn’t car about warranty or cost I just wanted it fixed. Sorry cant do it. I have zero experience and replaced the motor within an hour and a half. Sounds like they only like to work on easy repairs or ones that make them more money. Thank you for your effort or lack thereof. Please treat your customers better in the future.

Thanks you for the GREAT AND FAST SERVICE. I phoned at 9pm on June 30th and explained the situation, my A/C unit was making weird noises and stoped to work. They sent a technician early morning on Canada Day! I am very grateful and give them my highest recommendation.

Quoted me 500 to repair my fireplace and refused to provide me with a breakdown of parts and labour. Another installer found the part for 60$ and only charging 140$ to instal. Would recommend going elsewhere!

I have purchased and installed an air conditioner, water softener and had my furnace repaired by this fast and efficient team! Even on a Sunday and I was able to get a technician to come in on a late winter night to fix the problem with my furnace within an hour! The reception was friendly and extremely polite and the technicians were within the time schedules and fixed the problem within 1.5 hrs replacement costs were minimal nothing what I've experienced in the past! When hired, crew arrived when they said they would and finished a difficult ductwork retrofit quicker than any other estimate for a better price. They even resolved issues and mistakes from company that started the job and left me stranded. Brad Jagert and crew worked long into the night to meet a deadline we had. Great job all around and will be bringing them back for gas line installs and air conditioner in the spring.

Technician Chris was prompt efficient and quickly diagnosed situation with a recommendation to replace a smaller component as opposed to what a very large heating provider did.
