Affordable Home Services Windows and Doors

Worst customer service absolutely terrible work! Be carful we had two doors installed both doors where broken on installs to the point we could not close our doors every time we tried to reach the company they do not answer the phones. They wanted us to wait 7 days for them to come look.at the end of the day they replaced one door that they broke on install and now it’s squealing once again from the ball bearing hinges since they are not aligned straight!

In 2020 had windows installed to replace the old dual pane ones.
Was convinced to get triple pane as they were the best for only a small increase in cost.

A year later, all bedroom windows have condensation on the inside middle pane, water beads up all over.

I contacted AHS via email on Jan 8th, 2022, and Cody Palomba (General Manager Expert Advisor) came out and checked the windows and agreed
that they were defective. Also agreed that the workmanship on the surrounds and caulking were not up to par
and that would also be taken care of. He took his own pictures with his cellphone for proof.

However, due to the way that this company works, he said he would refer my warranty request to the manufacturer, and
that they would contact me directly.

It's been over a year now since I first contacted AHS. I have not heard from manufacturer and every time I email and call, all I get is
that they will make sure that the manufacturer has my contact info and that they get a hold of me.

The new windows perform worse than the old dual pane ones did. Using more gas to heat the house, and more electricity to cool with AC then
ever before.

I just spent 30 minutes trying to get ahold of AHS, tried every extension at the business number, they all put you on hold until it says
that all agents are busy and to leave a VM and someone will get back to you.

This agreement that AHS has where they don't deal with warranty claims is not good. It's too easy for them to blame the manufacturer for
not taking care of customer, and they can just wash there hands of you.
I just called and left a VM, we'll see if someone actually gets back to me or not.

At this point I would STRONGLY recommend potential customers to shop elsewhere, I would not want anyone else to have to do through this.
I've never had this type of experience with any company before, it's bizarre.

This is also the second time I'm writing this review, the other one is gone.

This company is excellent! One of our neighbors highly recommended them after having substantial work on their house completed. From our initial meeting with them through to the final installation, they were professional, responsive, engaged, friendly and affordable. I wanted all of my old windows removed and a complete wall of windows with a sliding glass door as a replacement. They created several designs and discussed them with me. They were so careful in their installation that they were able to protect the interior original oak trim and as a result, we had enough trim to finish the inside completely. They were efficient and clean-I didn't even have to sweep when they finished each day. We obtained several quotes from other companies for replacement windows and not only was AHS the most affordable, they created a design that was exactly what I wanted. My wall of windows is absolutely beautiful and the quality of the windows and hardware is excellent. I highly recommend them!

Took a long time coming, but we were in the middle of a pandemic, plus we left town for the he winter.
Installation was NOT done in a rush, and the results were fantastic! Would highly recommend Affordable Home Services to everyone!

Numerous problems.received incorrect window, door leaks and we were passed off to the manufacturer, communication was horrible, still waiting for the door issue to be resolved

Advanced installed a door and deck to our house last year and the door is truly one of the best renos we have done to our house.
The deck, while we were very impressed when it was completed, has had some issues over the winter with warping and splitting. We were instructed to wait till the spring to stain and this has been proven to be problematic at best.
I have contacted the office multiple times and no reply from the builder and I messaged Domenic with pictures and no reply.
I have sanded and glued and replied as best I can but am very disappointed at the aftermarket care
A follow up.
It is now June 3rd and John has dropped by. The long story short is they do NOT warranty decks due to the fact it is outdoors. That being said, he did offer to install new lumber if we pay for the lumber. I originally agreed but changed my mind as we have spent alot of time and money on this already. We will stain it this weekend and deal with the imperfections as we go.
Overall, happy with the end but it could have been better

From the intial meeting at the Home Show with Mike and Holli, to the crew that showed up on time as incredible professionals, I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company and their services. Thank you so much for the beautiful patio door installation, and for quickly installing in. I appreciate your kindness for the urgency of our door. You guys are amazing! I look forward to working with you again in the future with other renovations projects.

Affordable Home Services have been both a pleasure and a very positive experience. The front staff (Cassie and all the others) have been patient and very helpful and Domenic is a VERY smart man with innovative ideas.
The install crew for our door explained everything to a T on what was going to go on. The installation went flawless and looks awesome.
The deck installation with John is a thing of beauty. We have had so many compliments on the workmanship
If I were to try and find a flaw, it would be without question Mother Nature, but there is very little we can do about that
I would without question highly recommend Affordable Home Services. We WILL be dealing with them again in the future

We had 3 windows and a patio door replaced by AHS and the windows, door and service are amazing. From sitting with the sales rep Brandon, getting help picking the right colour and having all of our questions answered to the install this was a great experience with AHS. We had some water danage and the installers replaced rotten wood with new wood insuring the problem was solved permanently. The respect they showed to our home using drop cloths and making sure you couldn't tell they were even there once the job was done was appreciated. We are very happy with the install and would absolutely recommend these folks to everyone!

We had two young men here today named Mike and John.who installed two large windows for us both from Windsor office.these two gentlemen are exactly that.they are incredibly sufficient, polite, and never as much as left a nail laying around they even went as far as sweeping up paint chips from the old windows off the driveway now that's ECSTATIC service. I would recommend Affordable Home Services to anyone and everyone. Bravo the name Affordable is a great name for your company because it is just that. My windows look absolutely FANTASTIC thanks too Affordable home Services and Mike and John.
