I catered for many guest from this place, let me tell you they did not disappoint! MashaAllah everything was on point, taste, presentation, price, communication, delivery, I mean everything. This place (especially the chef) deserves a 10 star, let alone the 5. All my guests were impressed, InshaAllah we will definitely be ordering and catering form here again. May Allah put more Barakah on Afghan Cuisine Restaurant!

This review is long overdue. I have been coming to Afghan Cuisine for years now, I believe since they opened their East York location. I am a fan of Afghani food and after trying food at Afghan Cuisine I stopped going to other Afghani restaurants (bamiyan kabob). The quality of their food and taste is no less than amazing. Their staff is friendly and always treat their guests as a family. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to try great food and fantastic hospitality.

I placed an order for food for an event for 10 people with Omar Jan. My order was ready on time and perfect. It was exactly as I had ordered it with a reasonable price. The food quality was amazing and presentable. I am very satisfied and grateful. Thank you for your great service. Will definitely order again.

I m very disappointed at the owner, specially his behaviour towards fellow Afghans in the community. As a customer sitting there and witnessing the owner behaviour alongside their food quality getting worse over the time. The management should take action before majority of Afghans in this community boycott this restaurant.

Really poor customer service. We went to dine at night but there were no empty tables. The girl behind the cash said don’t worry I’ll tell them they have to leave and proceeded to a table with two Afghan men. Before we could even say anything she went to their table and told the two men who obviously ate there and were just talking drinking their tea that they had to leave. We were so disturbed by this that we decided no longer to eat here. No other establishment would ever kick a paying customer out. We were Afghan and heard her speak Farsi to them and it was the most disguising thing ever. Definetly not good business practice or Afghan hospitality. We felt bad for the men who had ate, paid and were just enjoying their tea talking. Poor customer service, will never support this restaurant

Ordered a buy 1 get 1 free meal from Uber eats for the first time. They sent me the wrong item + only one. So I got entirely ripped off. Uber said the item is non-refundable but I’ll update if there’s a resolution. Don’t order off Uber eats from here.

Visiting from Ottawa the family was looking for something new and exciting. Chiefly inspired by rave reviews, ordered and had home delivered a family platter and some additional dishes from Afghan Cuisine Restaurant. What a pleasant surprise! Honestly I had not tasted such a varied, fresh and exceptionally delicious meal in a long time. Decided to stop by on our way back to Ottawa and personally thank the management/staff. We were greeted very warmly. Decided to once again try their chappli kababs and fresh nans for a quick lunch. Quite generously it was topped up with a pot of complimentary green tea. Simply put, it has been an amazing experience. You guys are simply superb and the quality of food served was exceptionally good. God willing, would love to revisit. Thanks for fresh and great tasting food, welcoming atmosphere and a very courteous service.

Extremely delicious food with an extremely friendly staff. The dining area was clean and quiet and there was a wide variety of dishes to choose from.

Very disappointed with the service. They charge way too much for very small portions and the staff has 0 customer service skills. They talk back to customers with an attitude without trying to makeup for their mistakes. Before putting your staff at the front counter, atleast educate them what’s on the menu. We ordered something and got a whole different thing. There’s way better restaurants in the same plaza to choose from. This is supposed to be a fine dine but we also had to go get our food from the counter ourselves. They didn’t care providing us plates or cutlery until we asked for it.

The quality of the ingredients is really good. Everything is cooked to a well-done level. The price is affordable comparatively.

The food is very good and the front desk people are also nice but there was a lady on the front once sorry iam not racist but the best way to describe her she was a black girl on the counter she was very disrespectful towards me
One i ordered a lamb shank and and a pepsi as well but then I changed my mind to take a coca cola instead she was very disrespectful and she was starting to me for along time and also arguing with other member he was explaining to her that he just changed his mind but she was arguing iam very disappointed.

It’s my favourite place for Afghanistan foods. We had two orders of foods and green tears. I preferred tea straight. Service was very friendly. Thank for theirs fast services

Hair in the food messed up the order 3 different times, we were nice enough to except the food, but the manager lady need more management training, dose not know a thing about customer satisfaction what so ever, arguing with your customers for your bad service is not the way to solve a problem,
What a waste of our night, worst experience. Wish I can give you a zero star.

There was mold in the salad that was delivered through door dash. Absolutely appalling. Please be careful about what you eat from here

I got takeout from this place for the second time today and the food is delicious. Will definitely be coming back

They closed at 12am but dine in and washrooms at 10: 30 it’s weird, they don’t even provide cutleries in takeout orders bolani was full of onions inside never going back here waste of money.
