Afghani Kabob Express

Really good little gem. Wasn’t too familiar with Afghani food but this was really good. Couple good plant based dishes as well. The little side sauces also super tasty. The staff inside were very kind and welcoming.

We ordered for our party, The Shami Kabab is really perfect, well cook. Their fresh bread is fantastic they behave really professionally & caring.
They deliver it ontime& warm in great packaging
Try it once and you will be their permanent costumer!

They just re-opened and I was so lucky to come in for lunch to have their mantu dumplings! I was so hungry that I wolfed down half of it before I took a photo. The portion was large and the dumplings were bursting with a perfect balance of spice and textures. I’m a big dumpling snob and this mantu doesn’t disappoint. Under new management so please check them out.

The visit to Afghani Kabob restaurant wasn't planned. We were in the area and decided to try the nearest Kabab place. The food was 5 stars, we loved every dish we ordered. We dine in but the restaurant has a fast food vibe. I might try this place again if I was in the area.

Had the combo beef and chicken kabob and it was so delicious! Perfectly cooked and flavourful. Super lovely staff - this is my new kabob place!

The best Afghan food in Ottawa, in my experience. Their Chapli Kabob with Kabuli Palao is heaven itself. Portions are large, and the meal is very filling.

Hands down the best kabob place in Ottawa. The meat is always tender, the rice is never sticky, & the naan is always fresh. I have been here over a dozen times & have never had an issue with the food. The bolani is also phenomenal!

I always take my Turkish friends here when they visit Ottawa the food is amazing. If you want home good foods made from the heart visit them and I am a Scottish Irish man who loves amazing real foods.

I used love this till today. I order food from them Three times a week. Today I got a plate of trios. The beef kababs were from hours and hours before.they just warm them up for me. They were probably leftovers from a cancelled order. In their salad box I could count the pieces onion and tomatos. The sauces: even though I got two extra each had couple drops in it. I knew the inflation is high you are trying to reduces your cost and expense but don't reduce the quantity of food you put in customers' plate. If can't run it or can't afford to run, close it. This place used very good but now it is getting worse day by day. It continues like this there are other places.

My favourite restaurant! My trio platter was presented well with juicy flavours. Very friendly and professional service topped off my visit. Thank you, will be coming back!

I like the simple atmosphere and the decorations there depocting afghan motifs. The cuisine is heavy with meats, so very few vegetarian/vegan options. With that said, the bolani was really tasty and filling.

Been there twice already in one week. Food is amazing.fresh and flavoursome and not heavy.

Highly recommend it! You can find delicious food at a very reasonable price! Also, the quality of customer service is outstanding!

If you're looking for a restaurant with big portions of delicious food, I highly recommend this place! I absolutely love it. The only thing I would suggest is that they increase the portion size of the yogurt in their meal combo, as it's currently quite small. Other than that, the food is always tasty and satisfying. Check it out if you're in the area!
