Scamming and shady business! PLEASE AVOID this place everyone! I called to ask if they had an item I needed. The lady that answered the phone told me it cost $40. So I drove 1 hour to the store only for the same sales woman to begin starring and examining item at the counter when she said “ Now that I think of it, I do not feel comfortable selling this wooden piece for $40 and I feel like it’s worth more like $50- $60. ” I was completely shocked and disgusted but at a loss for words at how this could be happening. SHE TOLD ME $40 over the phone just one hour ago! Be honest instead of having people waste their time making their way to the store! HAVE SOME INTEGRITY WHEN ENGAGING IN BUSINESS. Never again! There are many other African drums and artifact stores in Brampton and Scarborough worthy of support!

My friend and I stumbled onto this place today and had the best warmest experience ever. Saikou taught us how to play the djembe and we ended up playing for almost an hour or more with some other customers. It was the most beautiful energy.

I’ve been searching for a djembe to learn more percussion music and was guided to this store.

Humans inside were extremely real, kind & welcoming. Saikou took time to explain and show me each of the drums. He even helped tune it up for me before I took it home. Pay this shop a visit for good beats and strong community energy

What can I add to the awesomeness of this place, if you need any African drums or instruments, re-skin your drum, etc. Look no further than this place
