I was hesitant at the beginning but the way Nicolle did the presentation won me over. Everything was discussed and explained upfront and easy enough to understand and made me feel well-informed about making a decision.

AGM was wonderful in renovating my 2nd floor bathroom just the way I had envisioned and wanted it! I had the bathroom enlarged by taking over an unused closet and part of a guest bedroom closet in order to have space for a 24 inch wide vanity in the bathroom. The contractors did a fantastic job of rebuilding the space and also moving the entrance door by 6 inches in order to adjust for the larger bathtub (you would never know it had been moved!). I replaced the aging bathtub/shower with a new bathtub/rain head/hand held shower unit, sliding "barn-door style" glass doors and a built-in shelf. A new built-in medicine cabinet was also factored in. The choice of tiles (floor and wall) worked perfectly with the design. The work was completed ahead of schedule and on budget with fantastic quality. The contractors kept the site neat and tidy the entire time. They went out of their way to be sure I was happy and satisfied the entire duration of the project and made very helpful suggestions as they went which I really appreciated. The Project Manager was wonderful at keeping up to date on the progress of the project and keeping me informed and giving me options when decisions had to be made. I am extremely pleased with the process and the end product and highly recommend AGM for their professionalism and quality.

Unfortunately we did not have a great experience with AGM. We felt stressed, anxious and had to do a lot of research ourselves, especially with respect to permits/code. Every conversation felt like someone was taking advantage of you. The tradespeople, who are subcontracted, did a fairly decent job. However, we are not happy with the process (sales, design, project management) of getting this renovation done.

After great consultation we had AGM take up our basement finishing project. We are happy that it was a hassle free renovation project that has ended and has given us a basement that we love! Excellent workmanship by highly knowledgeable and experienced tradesmen. We are spending great deal of our times in the basement and enjoying every minute being there. We will recommend this company for any home renovation project!

The kitchen renovation in our home by AGM has been recently completed and we are happy to say that our experience has been wonderful. The trades did a great job and most importantly kept the kitchen area tidy throughout. Garbage and debris were regularly removed and we never had the stress about being exposed to any kind of renovation mess. The work is great and all the details were looked into meticulously! AGM is a company of choice for renovation!

We recently had a master bathroom renovation done by AGM. The trades crew were wonderful! They were knowledgeable, punctual, paid attention to detail, and had extremely competent construction skills. The cleaning crew cleaned up thoroughly each day. The project completed within the quoted budget. The quality control lady Lina communicated with us regularly. We needed to finish our basement and we found AGM through their TV ad. We also looked at a few other companies, but after consulting AGM we felt comfortable to go with them. Eric gave us an estimate after mapping out the scope of the project that was finalized after measurements. Gloria did the design and she also helped us to choose the right fixtures, flooring and paint. The hvac, plumbing and electrical work was completed fully in compliance with the city code and the inspections from the city passed without any issues. We are impressed by the amazing work from all the trades. They really did a great job. The finished basement is to our great liking. It has a modern fresh look exactly the way we envisioned.and it's a place that we are spending great amount of time now!

AGM has created a beautiful basement living space at our home. The designer Gloria has been very helpful at the design stage. She took into consideration our requirements and has accommodated everything as we aspired. All the trades did a fabulous job and we are pleased with what we have as added living space!

AGM Renovations was very easy to work with. From the very beginning in the negotiating stage, Eric made sure to listen to our needs and concerns and made sure to add in a few details to make us feel comfortable. Despite most of our meetings being virtual, the designer Andrea made sure to include our ideas in the final design. She helped us choose fixtures and finishes. It was important to us to be able to see and touch things in person, and she made that possible. The renovator Jorge went out of his way to execute the plan and gave us the final product. All the workers were very easy to work with. They were punctual, respectful and worked hard. They also made sure to respect our space, and we were able to work harmoniously together, without any issues. All in all, I would highly recommend AGM for any renovation project!

My sister in law had both her bathroom and kitchen completely redone, taken to the studs and spent a huge amount of money thinking that having Mike Holmes vouch for AGM would result in quality work. Far from it. AGM is nothing more than a company that finds warm bodies to do the work. Not one thing in their renovation was done well. From planning to trim work, and everything in between was done so poorly that everything should be redone. Communication was terrible with representatives passing the buck and taking zero responsibility of the poor work for the poor quality and poor management. Months have gone by and they still don't have a kitchen or a full functioning bathroom. How is this ever acceptable. I'll make sure I do all I can to keep anyone far away from hiring AGM. A fly by night Kijiji option is better, because at least your getting what you expect. This quality is right with your fly by nighter as that's who they're hiring to do the work. Save your money.

We are so happy with our new kitchen. AGM’s entire process right from the initial contact to finish is very well organized. The trades who did the work paid attention to details and did a great job. Nicole from the administration made sure that the quality of work met the highest standards. It’s a perfect utilization of our existing kitchen space to give us a beautiful and functional kitchen.

We live in a condo. We hired AGM to upgrade our bathroom. The experienced trades people at AGM did a marvellous job to give us this new bathroom. It is really to our great liking and the use of this new bathroom is certainly way more comfortable than before. The workers at AGM are not only experienced but also very courteous! In May of 2022 my wife and I decided to hire AGM Renovations to complete 3 projects (a kitchen renovation, bathroom renovation and flooring on the upper and main level) to our forever home. We were very excited to use AGM Renovations because they had good reviews, could accommodate the renovations during the summer months, 5 year warranty and were endorsed by Mike Holmes. Our projects started in July and it has been nothing but a disaster. At this point we have floors that are compromised at the seams due to being installed incorrectly and are now chipping/peeling. They have only been installed for 6 weeks. We have a bathroom that has had parts of it done twice and are still waiting for shower glass to be installed. To top off our frustration with the bathroom, the shower is leaking into our basement which is adding to the damage already caused by the renovators leaving puddles of water and spray foam on the basement floor during construction. Our kitchen project was put on hold in July until an electrician could come and inspect the house. An inspector went to our neighbours house instead. Our electrical issues were eventually fixed. Our cabinets have been installed and are already damaged and thermofoil peeling and we haven't even used them yet. We have sent various emails to project managers, operation managers and district managers to try and get things "Back on Track" and we keep getting redirected to different people. The lack of respect for our property, lack of respect for our work schedules, the lack of workmanship, lack of quality and lack of communication is taking an emotional toll on us and our children. We have also found more people online that have had the same problem. I even had the holmes group inspector come inspect what was happening and he told me this is not right. We have been keeping records of everything as per the Mike Holmes on-line suggestions. (cameras/phone calls/emails conversations/messages). I really feel that if Mr. Holmes knew about this himself, he would make AGM give us our money back and set us up with the proper renovators. But since AGM is endorsed by him, that would not happen. AGM is full of false advertising on there site. They use Mike Holmes as a money making scheme. They have set are project up to fail and to purposely void their contract with us so they can buy time. We have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and The Holmes Group. After that we all of the sudden have evidence that they care. But only after that! We believe that if we only had someone who cared about us as a customer, we wouldn't be asking for help. Nobody has called us to even check up on us. We have had no kitchen for the last 4 months. Try cooking for a family of four without your kitchen and appliances.it's not easy at all. We have had no bathroom for the last 3 months. I had to recommission an old bathroom upstairs to just have showers and stay clean. We are $120,000 into these projects and cannot just walk away. We're now broke financially, broke emotionally and to top it off I'm down to my last nerve. My wife is a wreck. We want someone to help us "Make It Right".

Sadly I am changing my review score from a 4 to a 2. AGM completed our full basement reno and it looks good! My project manager was good at first. Yet, as soon as we gave our final payment and our 4 star review he vanished. He was very present and friendly when he continuously asked for a 5 star review for bonuses/ employee of the month etc. Saying if I gave a 5 star review, he would "add on" another 6 months to our warranty!
We have a defective bathroom mirror that still needs replacing after 3 tries. There is also an electrical panel/outlet issue that was not present prior to the reno. The PM made promises about a handyman or himself showing up at certain dates/times to address our issue. No one showed up or called. I gave him time to respond before I contacted head office. I was told it was now a warranty issue I must submit on their website. Its only been 3 weeks since the reno was "completed"

Had our basement bathroom renovated.the work and the finished product are top notch BUT the organisation and planning were very poor started with not knowing when the workers would turn up, then when they did it was obvious the plan was measured incorrectly and had to be redesigned.then did not know until night before when workers would show up.then workers were asking us how the tiles should be positioned and whether we needed potlights even all this was covered in the plan/design.then the glass installers turned up to measure while we were out with no notice given to us so A for the actual work and D for the planning

We are a big fan of Mike Holmes and had seen many horror stories from his HGTV program of people hiring contractors to do their home renovation projects. We wanted to get it right the first time. Since we resided in a different province from the location of the project, we needed a contractor to do the job from start to finish; handling every detail from design, architecture plan, city permits etc. After doing our research, we decided to hire AGM based on their reputation, the quality of workmanship and their warranty guarantees. We were extremely happy with the team that AGM selected to look after the project especially our designer-Annalee and project manager-Sergei. We highly recommend them for their professionalism and customer service. We had some hiccups along the way that resulted in some delays and changes in the plan, but overall, we were very pleased with the final result.

Disappointing Unprofessional Work and Unprofessional Management! Only guarantee is that they will leave your project incomplete after they receive payment. No response from upper management and poor subcontractors who don’t know what they are doing and AGM provides no supervision. Be prepared to over pay, manage the project for them, then hire someone else to do the job right.

We had a washroom renovation in our basement done by AGM. There were some hiccups along the way which were addressed promptly and we’re very happy with the result. The various trades involved including plumbing, electrical, glass, tiling, drywalling and painting were skilled and did good solid work. Everyone was very professional and prompt including Jason the project manager and Nada the designer. We were especially impressed by Balveer (Bill) the main contractor. He did all of the demo, the extensive bellow-ground plumbing, the wall work, tiling and painting. We recommend AGM and would use them again.

AGM renovated our main bathroom in November 2021. The entire process from initial consultation to finished product took only three weeks. Our renovators Ryan and Bryan were incredibly professional, efficient, kind, and their work is beautiful. The other trades people were also wonderful and great at their work. Overall, we are super satisfied with the final result. Our bathroom looks and works amazingly!
A few words of caution to future customers: please please please ask lots of questions. We were caught unaware that the level 2 shower would not provide enough glass to complete our shower. We had to spend almost $3,000 to buy additional glass. Also, if you are planning on getting heated floors, be aware that this is subject to inspection and will likely incur additional costs. Just be aware that AGM may charge you more money along the process for things the "pop" up.

Simply above and beyond! Surpassed any expectation I had. The AGM team is great. Our Project manager Evaldi was amazing! Trades and everyone involved were friendly, polite, and professional. Honestly selecting AGM was the best decision we made. The project was done efficiently, completed in a timely manner and was a high quality result.

I had a heated floor warranty issue that needed to be resolved. Despite the issue requiring a lot of demo and reinstallation in the bathroom I didn't have to twist any arms to get it done. I'm very demanding when it comes to quality workmanship so I did have to ask for a few things to be touched up and again no friction with that. The Project Manager for the warranty claim Amanda, was so responsive and friendly and quick to solve all my concerns and was a pleasure to deal with. I was very impressed and wish she would have been my project manager for the initial project too. I don't love the deposit they ask for to start a warranty claim with the risk you might not get it back if they decide it "isn't covered". But I'm glad to see they stand behind their warranty.

My recent warranty claim was quickly actioned and handled very professionally by Amanda in the claims department. Thank you for the great service.

I strongly recommend AGM Renovations if you have an unfinished basement and want a quick, professional, high quality contractor. I'm in construction myself, so told them upfront I would be particular about the details. Our Project Manager, Evaldi, was on the ball, organized, and diplomatic. He worked with me on my items, and still kept to their 30 day guarantee, getting the family a fully finished functional basement, just in time for Christmas! Design and Sales were excellent, and the trades work is spot on. If you want it done right, with a highly responsive and responsible pro; AGM is a sure bet.

Our Project Manager Adam was amazing - there were some bumps in the road but Adam was always available and willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were happy!

This project came in exactly as quoted and there were no hidden costs, or overruns. I was extremely happy with their pricing and their abilty to meet that commitment.

One tip for prospective clients, would be to order the portapotie was the contractor staff. It is a small price to pay to say you cleaning your personel washroom.

I would only recommend going with different designer as we didn't have greatest experience in selecting material and providing advice.

AGM Renovations finished our basement both professionally and in a timely manner. Before starting, a Designer sat down with us and allowed us to choose everything from scratch, including paint colors, flooring, tiles, etc. AGM worked well to switch our Project Manager to Evaldi Balla who helped to speed up the process and took great care when addressing our needs and concerns. Within 2 months, AGM provided us with a beautiful basement. Although a bit pricy, we would recommend AGM Renovations for basement furnishing.

We renovated 2 of our bathrooms with AGM and they now look like they came from a 4 star hotel. From the design phase, material selection, demolition, and construction they were professional every step of the way. When we ran into supply delays we were kept in the loop. It now appears we will need to exercise their warranty due to a plumbing issue but we are not concerned. They clearly want to do a good job and look after us.
