“Tik Tok fries your dopamine receptors” … this was said by my 13 year old son! Is it normal for 13 year olds to even know this stuff or be knowledgeable on the intricacies of the human brain in relation to our behaviour and feelings?

Well… my 13 year old son has been a student at Agora prep for 3 years and EVERY single day since his start at Agora, these are the kind of things that he talks about when he comes home!

Agora is an incredible out of the box academy that provides practical, new age curriculum that is so desperately needed by our kids, who are growing up in such a challenging time.

I praise every coach at Agora Prep for continuously paving the way and spearheading a path to my son’s success!

I wish this school was around when I was growing up. Not every child learns the same way, and I love that Agora gives the freedom to allow each individual to learn the best way for them. Grateful my kids have this opportunity to enjoy learning.

Sylvia is a leader and a visionary in her field. She is compassionate, highly intelligent, yet humble. She truly cares about each and every child and holds back nothing when it comes to education. We are so happy to have found Agora Prep Academy. From the moment we met with Sylvia and her team, we knew this was where we wanted to send our son. He has ASD and we wanted to ensure that we were sending him to a place where he was loved, cared for and his needs would be met.

When we first came to our tour, we were greeted with kindness and a warm hug. Everyone who works here truly cares about helping the children succeed and developing them to become the best version of themselves. They take their time to answer any questions you have and are extremely professional, caring and respectful.

Our son was previously enrolled in other traditional daycares/schools in the past and always went into his classes feeling anxious and frustrated. From day 1 of attending Agora, he felt right at home and was so excited to tell me all about his day and how much he loved the classroom, principal and coaches (teachers).

I moved my son from a public school to Agora and I am very happy with this move. At this school, kids are treated like human and their needs and opinions count. My son loves his school and is excited to go to school every day. The coaches (teachers) are very kind and caring and work with kids and parents very well. The Agora Prep Academy has offered my son a structured, safe and challenging environment for learning. The teachers work very hard at making sure the students work to their full potential. They definitely recognize each students individual needs. The teachers and staff are both professional and caring.

Sylvia, the principle, welcomes you with warm and open arms for the initial visit of the school and takes her time to describe how this school is different from the rest. Where to begin? These times have been difficult mostly for our children. Through schools shut & online learning, then when in class little to no social integration. A complete nonsense. Then we found Sylvia and Agora. A new way of learning, coaches warm, welcoming and enthusiastic. This is the type of school parents envisage for their children! My girls love it. Agora offers unique learning experiences that every child deserves! As a parent I am happy to share how positive the impact has made on my daughter within the first week of enrollment. Sylvia, the owner and principle of Agora truly stands behind her education philosophy and she really goes above and beyond for her passion in this field. Both my daughters attend agora prep and watching them settle into this school has been so refreshing. They learn through fun and both my girls love learning. Highlights have to be building a robot, gross motor and watching their reading jump forward!
