I recently hired Air Quality Canada Inc.to complete a full air quality assessment in my condo after experiencing water damage from a flood in my neighbour's unit. I had the pleasure of working with one of the co-owners, Justin, throughout the entire process. From the initial phone call all the way through to the final reporting, Justin was extremely professional and friendly. He used specialized equipment to test the air in my condo, offering peace of mind as to the safety of my home. Throughout the entire process, Justin was very informative and patient in answering any questions I had to better understand the testing and assessment process. I was impressed with Justin's thoroughness and attention to detail, as well as his excellent customer service. We hired AQC to do asbestos testing in our home - we worked with Justin who was great. Incredibly responsive, explained all the steps in the process and executed perfectly. Justin is the best. I called him a couple times with a lots of questions especially in the beginning, he’s always being patient and stand on my shoes. After I decided to conduct a indoor quality test, he’s very professional and helpful. He addresses your concerns in a very nice way and always being there to help. I used Air Quality Canada twice in the past few months. After first calling them, I received a call back just about immediately and spoke to Justin who provided an abundance of information and patiently listened to my concerns and anxieties. Within days he came out and took the samples, the results returning within the week. When I needed additional testing a second time, Justin again came out and promptly took samples, going above and beyond what was necessary and sampling areas that had not occurred to me to test, at no additional cost to that I had been initially quoted for the fewer samples. In the past I had used the services of other testing companies and by far Air Quality Canada provided the best experience. The testing cost may be comparable to other companies however the the value far exceeds the services of other companies I used and in my experience and as a repeat customer I found the service, cost friendly. In the past I had used other service providers and was not as happy as I am with Air Quality Canada, For example one other company I had used advised they were required to take three samples for testing but when they arrived advised it was one sample they took and they cut it in three. Several other companies I reached out to used fear to try to get me to use their services. Not the case with Air Quality Canada - Thank goodness this company exists - Justin was prompt, clear, super friendly, and no doubt knows what he is doing reflecting integrity, professionalism and competence. I would definitely recommend this company for their services!

We were very happy with the air quality test done by AQC (Air Quality Canada) recently. The Director of Operation - Justin was very professional, knowledgeable and great to work with. He was being patient and was able to answer all my questions. The final report shows a lot of details and Justin did an great job in explaining the report with good recommendations. Although the price is not cheap, I still choose AQC for its professional, comfort, and the overall experience. I would highly recommend Air Quality Canada to my friends and family

Dealing with Air Quality Canada is an 11/10 experience. The professionalism is exceptional, the people are deeply knowledgeable, respectful and were able to answer each and every one of my questions. The fellows that attended my home were thorough and clean (took off their shoes and only put them back on for the basement concrete floors and only at my request). Prior to this I had interviewed several companies that purported to tell me the truth about whether or not I had a mold problem but I quickly lost confidence in them. For instance, one fellow came over and put a meter on my floor and several other surfaces and told me the meter was a mold meter. Apparently, there is no such thing as a mold meter; it was a moisture meter. When I asked him about cross-contamination he acted like he had never even heard of these words. I was not willing to pay out money and end up still wondering whether or not there was a mold issue. In sharp contrast, the people from Air Quality Canada exude competence. Even though my insurance company would not pay for the test, saying my policy does not cover mold, I am incredibly happy that I made this small investment for my peace of mind.

I'm very pleased with the service and recommend Air Quality Canada. Justin was very prompt, friendly, and informative. The report is easy-to-understand and he also provides a narrated walk-through of the results to further explain and point out areas of concern. Most importantly, they don't provide or try to sell you remediation service, so you can trust that the results are accurate and unbiased. Thank-you

Phenomenal! Justin and his team at Air Quality Canada are excellent! They helped us with our designated substance survey (DSS) and subsequent air and water quality testing of our old Toronto home. I fully recommend them!

Highly recommended company for vermiculite / asbestos testing. Justin L.is an absolute joy to work with - conscientious, excellent communicator via e-mail & phone, and he provided detailed explanations throughout the quote process and also during the sample collection on site. If everyone were to work like Justin does, i am sure that the world would be a much nicer place. He is extremely mindful of your time and he will not waste it.

If you are looking for a professional company for vermiculite asbestos testing, then look no further than AQC. Their rates may be slightly higher than other "testing companies" but their professionalism and quick turn-around time is well worth the few extra dollars. As is often the case in life, "you get what you pay for". AQC are on time for scheduled appointments and will provide a professional report, including a video summary in layman terms.

**Important to note that AQC sends the samples to an independent 3rd party laboratory for testing and they also do NOT offer any asbestos removal services, which is good transparency so there is NO perceived conflict of interest. (This is not the case with many other so-called "testing companies", who conduct their own in-house asbestos testing and also offer removal services! Do not waste your time with places like these.)

[Finally, just as a suggestion, the company might consider posting sample pdf test reports (negative and positive results) on the website so that potential clients could have a better idea of what they would receive after samples have been collected and sent for testing. ]

Air Quality Canada came promptly to do my Indoor Air Quality and Mold testing, produced a clear and swift report and Justin Liberman was a pleasure to deal with!

The price was very reasonable and it took only one week to get the DSS report. They’re very friendly and punctual. I’m totally happy with their service.

I was under the impression that the technician would be testing for mold, VOCs, radon, formaldehyde, etc. If he was clear that he was only going to test for mold, then I wouldn't have made the appointment because there's only trace amounts of mold in my bathroom. The price is too high and I will not recommend this company to anyone.

We hired Justin to come do an asbesto testing for our home that was built in 1978 last week. He was extremely professional and knowledgable. He always responded back to my emails in less than a few hours and was able to get my test results back in one day. They are reasonably priced, I had called around and other companies wanted $800+ for the exact same test. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing asbesto testing. Prior to the assessment, Justin took the time to answer all my questions - he is extremely knowledgeable and explains things in an easy to understand manner. He conducted the assessment, helped others in my building understand air quality issues and delivered the lab results ahead of schedule. If you are unsure of the air quality in your environment then having Air Quality Canada's tests and recommendations are important to ensuring that your employees health and wellness is protected.
