Ordered 7 rolls, they just soso with excessive avocado inside. However, the salmon sashimi is not fresh at all.

On top, this is not the first time they cannot find customer's orders at pick up, tonight is my second time now. Even they said no one took my order, at the end they found it.
Come on, can you run a better system!?

Lately, the food quality is getting inconsistent and downhill, this will drive customers away. I am a loyal customer, customers will accept higher prices and not downgraded food quality!

I will never return or recommend this place

Really love this place for fresh take out sushi platters. There's some tables there too with bar stool type chairs. It's a quick in and out kind of place.

May 2023 update: Still our favourite place to get sushi take out. Really fresh and great prices. Staff is also very polite and efficient. They seem to only be doing take out. Next door is an Ai something else for chicken but apparently they aren't related.

Sept 2023: Prices haven't changed but have noticed proportions getting a bit smaller. Totally understandable given how much food prices have gone up. Still a great deal and one of our favourite places to go to. Staff still friendly and efficient despite how busy it gets.

Very bad experience. After eating early in the morning, I felt angry for no reason! Very bad experience, the server just yelled at me without any reasons. WTH! Ridiculous!

The service attitude is so bad. Do I owe you money? If you are short of a man, hurry up and find one. I wish you closure

I've gotten platters here many times, the price for the platters are fair and I really like the quality of their sushi. Everything feels fresh and made with love! Ordering over the phone has always been a breeze and I've recently discovered that they also have bowls, and those are just as delicious!

I hate giving bad reviews but this one was needed. Ordered the 40 piece sushi and sashimi roll platter on Uber eats, first of all they kept extended the wait of my ordered it took over an hour and a half to receive despite living 10 minutes from the place. Second the food was very slimy and fishy decided to eat the few that were decent looking and not even 2-3 hours later me and my siblings are vomiting and having diarrhea…. Worst sushi experience, would never recommend.

The waiter in this store may have menopause and has a very bad attitude, so I won't go there again. Ask some basic questions and lose your temper with customers if you don't understand clearly. Such a person should not be a front desk clerk, and should not be in the service industry if he does not speak well.

Great prices and fast service. Fresh sushi, too. Probably the best prices for platters. We had the kaisedon this time and the portion was filling.

The quality and choices of food had definitely gone down. Overall, it's just ok, nothing fancy compared to the first time I was there in 2020. The food was fantastic then (presentation, quality, quantity, and taste).

AI Sushi has been a good, budget friendly sushi. I usually order their salmon, sashimi and roll trays. For my most recent order I noticed they switched out salmon and used tilapia for their spicy rolls which was quite disappointing. It didn't taste fresh and was very "fishy".

Anytime we need a sushi platter this is always our go to. Freshly made, very affordable and restaurant is easy to get to.

The sashimi platter includes shrimp - and not the type you find in the ebi sushi. This is true shrimp sashimi and it's DELICIOUS! If you grab sashimi here make sure you try the shrimp.

Everything is tasty and well presented.

Just wish they had tempura as an appetizer even if it's just shrimp tempura since them make various rolls with it. Other than that great place with great prices for good quality sushi.

$96 for these four plates? ! Each roll costs me $5-$6 for only four pieces? ! Please don’t go to this location if you don’t want to waste money!

Food is pretty good for the amount you're paying - however the lady is rude AF when taking my order over the phone. She's gotten my order wrong more than a handful of times and when I ask her to repeat the order to me, she gives me so much attitude and still doesnt repeat the order for me and just says "ITS IN THE SYSTEM" Listen sister, I know its in the system, I just want to know that its the correct order in the system. She then tells me (very rudely) the total and asks if this is the same amount I paid last time. HELLO I ORDERED SOMETHING DIFFERENT LAST TIME PLUS HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO REMEMBER?

Anyway food is still decent, however that lady needs to go.

One of my all time favorite place to order sushi. Fish is always fresh and the sushi-sashmi trays are the best value in town.

Thought I'd give it a try again after several years. Don't. Just don't. 6 of us couldn't finish an 80 piece tray

Used to like this place, but how hard is it to include ginger on the side? How hard is it to forget adding Wasabi on the side? This has happened twice already. Today, it felt like I was having packaged sushi which I can buy from Superstore. Not fresh at all. What's the use to come all the way to your establishment if I am not having fresh sushi? I am disappointed and I am going to search for other better sushi places for quality/ fresh sushi. Please train your staff to include Wasabi and ginger on the side.

We ordered the 40 pcs sushi-sashimi-roll platter and the sashimi was not fresh at all.it was chewy and full of veins.not only was it not fresh, there was discolouration.the scallop was bitter and did not have a sweet taste like scallops usually do.the salmon had no flavour and even the imitation crab tasted like flour and had a dense taste.

EDIT: Their sushi platters are still a pretty good deal and are cash only. Quality has decreased slightly or at the very least they are less consistent now.

Ordered the 60pc platter. Food is fresh and delicious as always. Note that they get so busy that you should order a couple hours in advance, or the day before, especially for weekends.

Very good value for sushi. Expect decent sushi, don't expect to have your mind blown.

Not always consistent with quality. Sometimes you get spicy salmon roll and sometimes you get spicy madai roll (we hate this one) when you order a platter.

Definitely not good sushi spot you should go.
Today we ordered 100pc, they require$79.10 Cash only! (I guess is tax purposes).
Anyway the Quality tasted is worse than supermarkets. Fish is not fresh at all. Like almost gone bad. Rice is not sushi grade rice.
It’s just tasted weird and smell fish in the bad way.

Had ordered several times, the sashimi not fresh and last time the Uni sushi was bad.
I will never order again. Very disappointed!

Terrible customer service. I am surprised that they only take cash but it clearly not written on the take out menu. In fact, they do accept debit card but the staff are now willing to offer this and gave us attitude. Food is ok but the staff are so rude.

I've been a customer here a very long time and the food and value is good. BUT the customer service from the "female" over the phone is always bad. Recently worse to the point we do not order from here anymore. I believe there is only 1 female that takes order over the phone? Not sure but her attitude and tone is so bad it's awful. If she hates her job that much don't do it and from a business stand point, either she needs training or needs to go. When you ask her what time to pick up, she is sarcastic and is so rude it's unbelievable. If she doesn't want her job, give to people who will appreciate having a job. Don't treat your customers this way. Customers may not always be right but we were very polite and well mannered. We did not deserve to be spoken to and treated that way.

It's a busy place to order take outs especially on weekends and holidays. Mostly because this place is very reasonably priced and the sushi portion are generous and tasty.

My go-to sushi place! I always order their assorted sushi roll platter! It is well worth the money; super fresh and super delicious! I ADOREE their spicy sauce. Never disappoints: P

Probably one of the cheapest places in Markham for sushi, especially if you're getting their party platters. But I would personally stick with rolls here and get sashimi elsewhere. Ordered sashimi here a couple times and it has never been that fresh.

Absolutely terrible customer service. They used to be really nice but now they’ve changed. The one who picked up the phone (and the lady who checked us out) was incredibly rude and needs to watch her tone. We called ahead for pickup by at least three hours, hoping to pick it up at 7: 30pm. When we arrived at 7: 40pm, we were told to wait 5-10m and was given a clicker that beeps once our order was ready. After 10m, we asked if was ready and was told to wait another 10m. At the end, we finally got our order after a whole hour later than the time they told us it would be ready for pickup. Their organization is atrocious and should be improved. I understand the rush but we should at least get an update if our order is going to be late or provide an accurate time of when our order will actually be ready. This isn’t the only occurrence either, every time we order from here, the wait times are just as long or even longer. We were once a loyal customer but given that this consistently happens we will not be returning. Avoid this place!

I ordered at 4 45pm, small orders didn't get ready until 5 35pm. I was told 20 to 25mins wait. Poor customer service

Food is pretty good and super affordable price for its value! But cashier is never nice. When I ask for extra ginger, they give me attitude all the time. Next time ill ask them to charge me and would put my tips towards my ginger instead haha

Sushi is good but elgin mills location is better.
This place service is poor.
I ordered $20 worth of food, twice and they made me wait so long both times. First said half an hour, then 2 mins, 2 mins, meanwhile its an hour later.
They priortize larger order first. So if you plan to get small orders, expect to wait forever.

50 minutes past my pickup time. Still don't have my order. No sorry, just have to wait. Be sure to order an hour early or you'll be waiting for a long time.

Called an hour ahead and took way too long to make a platter. Kept saying 5 mins but that never comes. I won't be ordering from here again since I don't want to wait 2 hours for my sushi to be ready.

Good price for good sushi. But the wait time is ridiculous. Even calling in and having THEM tell us what time is available for picking up the food, we still have to wait. Pick up time is 5: 15pm. Got there and was asked to wait 10mins. It’s 5: 56pm now and still have not gotten our food.
A customer ordered at the counter and got his food before us.
Terrible organization at this location. Not worth the wait.
