BEST MISO SOUP. EVER! Delicious food, very fresh and flavourful! I would highly recommend it. Family owned and operated, I don't know what I would do without them:)

I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of sushi at this restaurant in Kincardine! Despite being a remote town, the sushi here was fresh and delicious, with a variety of creative and traditional rolls to choose from. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a tasty and unique dining experience in Kincardine! The restaurant is also in an Inn and that makes cool.

Always excellent quality sushi and sashimi. Service is always friendly and efficient. Unique and appropriate atmosphere. Our favorite lunch spot.

Akima house has always been awesome! Great food even though the height of covid-19. Huge platters, great value.

They were attached to an inn, but it burnt down. They quickly recovered and are back to full strength. Definitely worth dining in, or taking some to go, for locals and visitors alike.

Usually only 1 server there so some things take longer like if you ask for a drink refill or extra wasabi/sauce. But the food and decorations more than make up for that!

Great spot for either takeout or dine in. Lots of variety on the menu so both sushi lovers and non sushi lovers have options. The spicy maki set is a favourite.

Akima House has been such a great addition to Kincardine. The thoughtful food presentation, quality service and relaxing atmosphere make this a top-shelf destination for hungry bellies craving a moderately-priced meal sure to satisfy. If I could, I'd give it 6 stars. Give Akima House a try if you haven't yet. You won't regret it!
