Besides the food always being amazing, the customer service is top notch. We accidentally ordered take-out sushi online from the front Akita Sushi (Woodbridge), the gentleman at the front desk called the other location to coordinate my mishap and made my order on the spot for me. They saved me a big headache with their exceptional customer service. Bravo.

The place was looking rough, but the food didn't change in my opinion. It has been completely redone, very nice inside with the same great food and service. I took my mom for mother's day and they gave her a flower. Super sweet!

Anytime I go there its always good and comes out fast, the only problem is if you get water they don't ask you if you want a refill unless they brought the water jug with them and they also hardly fill your cup back up but outher then that I love eatting here.

The owner/manager went out of their way to contact me when i had an issue, which i really appreciated. They were VERY apologetic. After them showing their concern, ill definitely be back. 10/10 for their customer service.

Worst sushi we ever had. Do not get takeout from here. Honestly save your money. The rolls came looking like a mushy salad, the fish in the spicy salmon wasn't there, the raw fish on the sushi bits tasted like vinegar, the salad was a large clump of lettus. Not worth the $70 spent. Ended up having to make a sandwich at home. Very disappointed. Wish we could get a refund.

This place has really gone down hill. I remember going often with my friends in highschool and it was pretty good, and 6 years later it's probably the worst sushi I've ever had. I recommend Neko sushi down the road.

The staff seemed to be very un-interested in their tables. The sushi was a very standard grade, and standard items like wasabi needed to be asked for when you could get someone to help you. I want to say it was very busy but there were only 3 other tables while we were there and 3 staff mebers working the floor.

After reading the reviews of this place, we were very hesitant to try this place. We’re happy that we did. For an all-you-can-eat, the quality was pretty decent. I loved the fact that they were serving quickly with minimal wait time.
My favorites:
Appetizer: seaweed
Rolls: spicy salmon, dynamite, tempora roll
All in all very nice experience. Keep up the good work!

I don't like rating businesses on the lower side but I do believe in giving a chance to businesses in bettering themselves.

The place feels very rundown with every couch at the tables being completly ripped apart.

The sushi is lacking finesse but is overall tasty.

The washroom smelled horrible and were gross and seemed like they're not cleaned often.

Literally the worst beef teriyaki I have ever had in my life. The beef tasted like it was on cooked a month ago could literally give 0 star if possible. Very disappointed.

I am quite surprised by how negative the reviews are. By far in the whole area the food quality here is the best. I came alone and got my food relatively quick and everytime I was served more food they refilled my water. The only reason why I gave this a 4 and not a 5 is because the seats were torn up and the quality overall of some of the teriyaki could be better but honestly it was good. I'm sorry to the owners who have all these bad reviews, I hope others take the time to look past them and see the great service and atmosphere this restaurant provides.

Thanks for a great meal, at around 36 dollars for a dinner menu (that had variety) i would come back 100%.

We ordered take out. It was a party platter. I asked for extra ginger. Not only there wasn’t any extra, there was barely any ginger period. The sushi wasn’t rolled well and fell apart. The fish on the sushi pieces were extremely thin & did not taste very fresh. I do not recommend this place at all.

Staff should Pay attention and read “special instructions “ part, twice I ordered online and instructions were never fulfilled. Was really disappointed when after picking up food and driving 20 mins home it wasn’t what I ordered and wanted.

Unfortunately can't give less than 1 star.uncleaned shrimp, improperly packaged sauce in spring rolls, spilled in container, and all spring rolls were soggy and not edible, slimy and soggy sushi rolls. (was like pablum, not rice for lack of a better description.) adding pics, which make it look better than it was.restaurant would do nothing, blamed the delivery person.never will order again.

If i could give 0 stars i would. Everything was either poorly made or was not even cleaned.
1.sushi rolls all fell apart…
2.miso soup was just water with no flavour
3.best of all…the shrimp from BOTH the rolls & the shrimp skewers ALL were not properly cleaned & de veined. THERE WAS BLACK SHRIMP FECEES ALL IN THE SHRIMP. Picture attached for reference. Save your money & your stomach. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

This place used to be great but has considerably declined in quality over the years (COVID not a factor since the decline started before COVID). This does not include the fact that they don't have or decline to serve many menu listed items. Plus, this place doesn't serve tea (what kind of place doesn't have tea). Very very disappointing. Bradford desperately needs another sushi place. If you are craving sushi I suggest making the trek to Newmarket or Barrie. I'm sure you'll find what you are looking for there. Save yourself the disappointment and DON'T GO TO AKITA SUSHI in Bradford.

I think this is the one I went to with David. I won I have never had better all you can eat sushi. I can't believe after 135 pieces each we ordered 45 more each salmon sushi thanks for the lunch special everyone else is dumb but the people who go here and don't get good sushi.

Salmon Belly?
Ya, so am I going to just throw away the "belly fat" they are selling as salmon. This was a waste. I was already questioning if I should eat this.then I read some reviews only a couple days ago about being sick.

The salmon was very chewy, smelled when opened, lettuce was rotting.going to make my own lunch.

They are trying though. Not great food. Sloppy rolls. Comparably good price for the area. Mix ups and lost orders. Not going to buy anything for a while for them. Place needs new cook and a decent manager.

I look forward to eating sushi. I recently purchased a pick up order via skip the dishes which included an Akita roll and a spicy Salmon roll.
Packaging was great. The taste was less than mediocre.
I'm not familiar with Bradford but I would suggest looking elsewhere for sushi. Vaughan as some great options!

I visit this place a lot since I work in the area. I got to say their customer service is always great and they keep the place well organized constantly. Rates are reasonable and they serve sizeable portions.

Every time I come here the staff are very friendly and the food is out of this world. For first time sushi goers the staff will even help you with orders and let you know what is in each dish.

I highly recommend this place as one of my favorite Sushi hot spots.

So, I ordered on skipthedishes, and I called to confirm to them, they decided they weren't going to make my $132.60 worth of food, they decided to cancel my order and be COMPLETELY disrespectful! They also hung up on me when I was trying to ask WHY they're weren't going to make my order. NEKO SUSHI IS BETTER AND CHEAPER AND WAY MORE DELICIOUS THAN THIS GARBAGE PLACE WE ALL KNOW AS AKITA SUSHI.

Called at 8: 30 to place an order for pick up and they said no they are closed for the night. They close at 9: 30.normally I eat at Neko sushi and I will continue to do so

Good sushi, our favorite in the area. We come for the food, NOT the service. Have never had any staff smile at me there. No wonder they automatically add on 10% gratuity at the end. If you pay cash, grab a take out menu from the counter before you sit down, you'll find coupons on it for dining in. ***UPDATE - They have now used a permanent marker to scribble over all of their coupons on their take out menus. Classy move.

Updating my review a year later. The size of the pieces has gone down. The prices have gone up and the consistancy just isnt there anymore. Makes me really sad its the only sushi place in town so it feels almost like theyve become complacent and dont have to try as hard? I dont think Ill be going nearly half as often.

All the food was fantastic! I love the idea of giving you a tablet to order from and the food shows up. I had already read reviews so I got the service I walked in expecting. Over all I would return and recommend Akita Sushi.

If I could give this place a zero I would. The only thing that saved them is the food. Food was good but service was atrocious! Both waitresses were rude and ignored us. Whenever our food was ready the waitress came by and dropped on our table and walked away. All the time wearing her winter jacket. She was to busy talking/ laughing and flirting with the young men doing the cooking. To bad because this place could be a little goldmine. The owners should really clean this place up with staff.

Staff was well, came in and had a good time.
Food was satisfying and most importantly came in less than 5 minutes, didn’t finish it all and didn’t have to over pay, a little pricey for some.

It’s a shame, this used to be one of the best Sushi places around. My wife and I would rave about it and take out of town guests there regularly.
The service took a dive shortly after the fire, but the food kept us coming back. Now the food has followed the service. More rice than filling, bland taste - I couldn’t even finish my Sushi Pizza, which used to be my all time favorite. I was surprised to see the gratuity added to my bill in advance, but I’m fine with that if the service is great - however it is not.
Tonight was our last meal at Akita Sushi, there is just nothing there to go back for.

They dont care at ALL. Shows in the food and service. I received take out and the waitress was swing it from the back to me.when i got home my food was a mass of rice and avacado. Hope a new sushi restaurant opens soon. Wont be returning

If you look at my reviews you may notice we tend to gravitate to AYCE sushi. That said, Akita Sushi is an excellent choice. Prices are average - and the selection is Great! We stop here whenever we are passing through in the dinner hour. This has been our favourite stop in Bradford for over 5 years now! Have had only one recent disappointment (Teriyaki Beef) - but a few weeks later were back and it was great- so we chaulk that up to a bad day in the kitchen. It obviously wasn't enough to stop us coming back!

Worst experience the 1st time I went. They wanted us to pay upfront then did not want to serve my friend his food. Tried them a second Time. Restaurant was not busy they took forever to bring food. Did not refill our water. Overall worst experience at a restaurant and food was not that good. Can make better food my self

I would recommend staying away from this sushi restaurant. Hot food that was ordered was served cold and sushi pieces tasted spoiled. I paid $70 for two people to feel sick after their dinner. Service was ok, but I definitely will not be back after that terrible experience.

Food is okay but not exceptional by any standards. The 10% automatic tip is not discussed.its just shows up on your bill. The staff is not the least interested to be there and frankly not even pleasant. They all seemed bothered that your are there. We Will not be returning here ever again. Not Customer Service focused at all.

WORST SERVICE! Servers sit at a table talking while you wait. Do not refill your water even after being asked. They do not remove dirty dishes. Food takes longer then it should. And it’s definitely not fresh. THEN THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO PUT AN AUTOMATIC GRATUITY ON THE BILL. This place is a joke. Will never go back.

Sushi were ok, sometimes small and not nice looking, but not a big deal considering it's all you can eat.
Some staff was very not friendly. A few times they litrerally threw plates on our table and stormed away.
Not all we ordered was delivered.

The location and atmosphere was quite nice, easy to spot from the road. The sushi quality was decent yet inconsistent, some Maki rolls had double ingredients and some had less or were missing some. Unfortunately they add a precalculated tip to your bill, so beware of that when you pay.
I would probably go there again, only for lunch as the dinner price was more than a usual all-you-can-eat.

Food is alright, service is awful. I was hoping with the iPads now that it would be better but no. I had to order the same roll 6 times before I'd finally get it. I asked 5 times for a green tea and still never got one. I was also there for 3 hours, and still within that time got maybe 55% of what I ordered. I'm not going to drive to newmarket for sushi from now on.

Fairly recently, I was lucky enough to have eaten the best sushi of my life here. The freshness, flavor, texture and service were beyond excellent. However this week, I can honestly say that Akita Sushi served the worst Sushi ever. The overpowering fishy smell clearly showed that the fish and seafood was not even close to being fresh. Despite my objections they still insisted on an automatic 10% tip. Due to the inconsistent quality over the past years (before and after "The Fire") and now the automatic tip, I will NEVER eat here again!

We really like the sushi BUT the service is brutal. If we ever get food from here we ALWAYS do take out. It’s also painful placing an order due to the language barrier.

Food was good but I left feeling I was overcharged. They aren't very friendly but I did not expect any more in this regard. Just did not feel like I got a lot of value for a 100 dollar lunch. (2 adults, 3 kids)
