Huge variety and very fresh Sweets and other confectionaries. Hands down 5 Stars. Have patience. I mostly need to take a number, but I guarantee a sweet reward, lol.
Their barfis are excellent taste, however treatment is not. If you are not from certain background or ethnic origin, they won't notice you. All employees are from certain ethnic origin, which is perfect example of discrimination.
No doubt about Sweets taste, comparatively expensive. The weird part of the payment method they don't accept Credit card which is against the law. They have a very good amount of sales per day and they only accept. Cash or debit. It was a very embarrassing moment when I packed the sweet and someone else had to pay for me as my debit card was left somewhere at home. They really should start accepting credit card now.
I have been here twice and both times on a weekend and the lineup was outside. That's how busy these people are. Their habshi halwa and amarati's (fancier jalebi) are to die for. Prices are a bit high but the quality justifies it. I have tried their chicken and veggie samosas as well and they are delicious. A must try sweets store.
This would be a 5 star rating but you guys need to take Orders on phone, I'm not Lying when I order I'm gonna come in and Pay. This has always been a Problem I always come from really far and have to wait so long to pick up food from u guys. It's sad.
Family favourite. My family has been going here for years and their quality of food has been consistent. The sweets are delicious and there is a nice variety to choose from.
Our good friend introduced us to Al-Karam and I have to say they make the best samosas in the GTA! I have tried many samosas across the city and none compared to them
There sweets are also quite delicious especially gulab jamun. So soft and yummy
Their customer service is usually pretty quick and courteous depending who serves you
We always come here for their samosas when we crave them and they never disappoint
I visited last weekend and I must say that they have a amazing sweets and a wide variety to choose from! I liked their Barfi and Walnut Halwa. A tall gentleman with glasses provided excellent customer service. Also, after several years, the road has finally been paved.
An exceptionally wonderful experience ordering from Al-Karam Sweets!
I had a special order and the representative from the online team spent much time in ensuring the requirements were fully understood and went beyond to ensure that they were satisfactorily met.
The whole process was very smooth and very prompt.
Would highly recommend Al-Karam for wonderfully SWEET shopping!
Best Mithai shop in toronto, not sure why they always are out of stock for amratti.my favorite, Came all the way from Milton and got no amratti both time
Bad customer service. Rude with customer they were telling me the covid policy, that two people from same family cannot come inside. They were rushing a lot. I was trying this first time but they changed my mind. For the restaurant owner i want to say this kind of employees are decreasing the level of service.
Love their Mithai. Today I got mix mithai including Almond Barfi, Laddu, Gulab jaman, pateesa and Ras gulla, all of them were very fresh and great in taste.
Went there to buy jalebi. Ended up buying many other sweets because they all looked so good and tasted even better. Would be great if they open another branch in southern Scarborough or East York area.
Today I bought samosas and didn't get chatni with it. I asked a guy for a chatni he said it's for 0.25c which sounds weird to me because chatni is compulsory comes with samosas. They should gi e Atleast one chatni with samosas if we ask for more then they should charge. Not a good service
Excellent Sweets ans Unique taste of everything they carry. I bet, you will never find this kind of taste anywhere in Canada. Drive all the way from Brampton to go there just to get their sweets. If you haven't tried their sweets, you are missing big time. Highly Recommended. P. S. Open one of your Branch in Brampton too:)
It is good but major problem was that thay were giving numbers for customers but there was no any screen where thay can run the number and even worker don't know what number is going on
Long wait time should hire more staff in weekend quality of sweets and samosa are good but half the time they are not available should have proper demand and supply work schedule
I’ve been coming here for many years and have to say they have the best sweets in town. Not to mention that it seems like they have also improved on their customer service skills since my last visit near the end of 2017. However, the last time I was here and bought samosas I was told they no longer have the green chutney sauce and only the red which is a huge disappointment since I only liked the green sauce with my samosas and not the red sauce. It’s more of a personal preference. Also when you buy 12 samosas they only give you two sauces and expect you to pay. 25 cent per sauce but other places would give you the sauces. I mean if a customer is spending $30-$80 on sweets and items it doesn’t hurt to give a couple extra chutney sauces. I’m hoping they will reintroduce the green sauce otherwise I think I’ll completely stop buying my samosas from here.
Best place for South Asian Sweets. Couldnt get any better than this. I have been to so many sweet places in and around GTA but best quality sweets with incredible taste is here at Al Karam.
Tasty but very cheap environment, no matter how much you spend if you asked for extra side chutney, be prepared to pay extra for a 5 cent chutney which I find rude. I understand people can abuse the system but hey it's only chutney man.
Best Pakistani sweet shop in Scarborough (probably in entire Toronto). The taste and quality of most of their sweets very close to back home. We personally love their Habshi Halwa, Kalakand, Barfi, Besan Laddu, Pateesa along with many others. Prices are reasonable and definitely worth the quality and taste.
I go here for every occasion. Sweets are always perfect. Only problem is limited parking and it’s a small shop so on busy days be prepared to wait. But it’s well worth the wait!
I have never liked Indian sweets. But this place changed my mind. We got the Eid special box. 25 pieces of some really yummy sweets. If you have never tried Indian sweets turn get it from here for your first time. If you have tried them before come here and I'm sure it will be better then what you had.
Went to pick some stuff for iftar today. Samosas were amazing and customer service was great. But the chaat papri seriously needs some work. It was nothing what I had expected, just some chickpeas and potatoes floating in a sea of yougurt that was full of red chilli powder. Really disappointed, the chaat papri is not worth going back way overpriced at $5.25! Will come back for samosas though.
Good quality food but slow service and lack of staff. Long wait times even with few customers. Took 30 minutes to get samosas only, there were just 3 customers ahead with probably one item each to buy.
Amazing quality mithai! I just received our shipment in Iowa by UPS. The box was professionally packaged, the sweets were very fresh and tasty! Everyone in the family agrees! Hands down the best mithai in North America! I have mail ordered from New York/New Jersey/Chicago before and Al-Karam wins hands down! Wishing you the best and a lot more business! We will order again from Iowa!
By the way, your website was very iPhone friendly and made ordering a breeze!
