Al-Manarat Heights Islamic School

I got chance to volunteer at Al Manarat Heights Islamic school recently I am really amazed by the standard of education and Islamic teaching they are providing to our future generation. May Allah reward His blessings to sister Nasrin and her dedicated staff to continue with such a great cause.

This school is awesome, it is very inclusive to all people. Their basketball team is very well managed, The school teaches good manners and fairness to all other teams which play in the basketball inter islamic tournaments. The school overall is very clean and organized.

I have 3 children enrolled for almost 2 years and am very satisfied with the level of Math, English, and science, commitment of staff, friendliness of management, and quality of Islamic education. I recommend enrolling children from an early age and parents should be ready to help small children keep up with the syllabus especially the Quran studies which require a strong foundation in memorization and comprehension. They also have wonderful sports teams that play fair and never cheat

MashAllah it's a beautiful Islamic school that focuses on the foundation of Islam while living in the West. The teachers are knowledgeable and promote an open and safe space to tackle issues we face here, while teaching them the pure spirit of Islam, free of cultural baggage. Highly recommend!

I studied at this school for 3 years and it was one of the most enlightening experience I have ever had. The teachers here are nothing short of extraordinary and their curriculums truly reflect that. The environment here is very friendly and people from different schools will be welcomed by students and teachers. I would really recommend this school to anyone, no matter what type of background they come from.

I am overwhelmed by the care and educational standards Al Manarat puts into the growth of their students. I had the opportunity to attend the Annual science Fair and be among one of the judges. The scientific knowledge and the experimental approach of most of the students were beyond the expectations. The hard work of Principal and staff was visible through students knowledge.
I highly recommend Al Manarat school. A brilliant islamic school - where every teacher cares.

Al-Manarat Heights is an impressive Islamic institution which under the watchful eye of their dedicated principal, is focussed on the worthy cause of bringing the young generation closer to the deen while keeping them aligned with their academic and career goals.

I have had the opportunity to attend a student-led presentation/workshop on islamic funeral/burial services and was amazed by the confidence and eloquence with which the students delivered/acted out the material.

It is evident that the principal and the staff are putting their heart and souls in teaching the students how to incorporate Islam in their lives; not an easy task!

The most organized, well-made and executed Islamic school, program Ive witnessed. Teachers are qualified and loving, Standard of education is highest.

My children had attended this very versatile Islamic and academic school located in Mississauga. They leanrned a lot about Islamic values which reflect every moment of their lives Alhamdulillah. I have been studying in this school since grade 5, Alhumdulillah i am a graduate. This school has not only changed me in my academics, but my life too. Every single teacher cared about me as if I was their daughter, and made sure I stayed on top of my class and informed me if I slacked off. My English and math teacher, Br. Hassan helped me achieve my goal in getting into the advanced placement program. I would have not done it without him. The principal, Sr. Nasreen helped me stay on the right path no matter where i am. I am truly grateful. Br. Junaid taught me Islamic studies and Arabic for 4 years and he taught it so well that i still remember the time in grade 5, we would recite the Quran when writing it! I am taking an Arabic class right now, and I'm excelling in the class because of how well brother Junaid taught me. I give my thanks to all my teachers for helping me achieve my goal and excelling in my studies. I am very grateful that i went to this school and all the memories i have made. Thank you each and everyone of Al-Manarat staff.

I've been at this school for 2 years and alhumdulliah i benefited alot, these 2 years were really execptional for me because i learned alot my all my beloved teachers, they taught me things i would have not learned at a public school, mashAllah all of the teachers are well qualified and they know how to deal with kids in this generation, they are all caring and im not even lying everytime i was absent brother Junaid, Hassan Sister Noorane and all the other teachers would always ask about me or, ask someone else what happend and this is just not me i saw it happen with some other students to, once you friend the teachers in this school you won't regret it.

I went here for a year they have very bad management do not come HERE
this school has unqualified teachers and they shout sometimes even hit if they get mad i have been a bullying victim and the teachers dont care one of the worst schools in missisauga

Mississauga has been blessed with such a great opportunity to learn the language in which Qur'an was revealed. I am a student of Arabic language over 7 years, I tried many avenues but the strategy that al-Manarat adopted is the best. The class environment is extremely friendly and you learn from the class and home work assignments. The content was explained so well that my 13 year daughter and nephew understood it too. The given projects further improve the skills towards Qur'anic Arabic. I believe every Muslim should take this opportunity and take Arabic 101 & 102 from al-Manarat Heights. Now online classes will be an option too. I will also encourage parents to bring their teenagers for this learning cause, thank you.

Amazing school. I came to this school after doing hifz without any academics for a few years and they really helped me transition back to a school with math English and science.

Ive been in this school for so long that I can't remember, all teachers are nice and caring. This place is a place where each and every student gets to experience amazing people, friends and new things. Al Manarat is a really amazing school and inshallah it will continue like this.

I only went to this school for the last six months of my grade eight year. I have to say, those six months were the most beneficial months of my life. The people that I met changed my life, everyone is so kind and welcoming. The friends you make will be with you forever. All of my teachers including, Br Junaid, Br Hassan, Sr Naureen, and Sr Nasreen always believed in me and helped me strive to be the person I am today. I would NOT be where I am now if it wasn't for the Al Manarat community. If any of my teachers are reading this review then I want you to know that you helped change a person for the better and I will always remember how you were there for me.

Assalamualaikum, my name is Hisham and I have been attending this school for 3 years and since I came from a Hifz background it was hard for me to get a grasp of the studies but the teachers AlHamdulilah are very supportive and I am now in grade 8 and it has been a great time because this school combines fun and Islam to the point in which you are attracted to this blessing from Allah. Great School! My kids go to Al Manarat for the past 7 years. Its a great school and management is very dedicated. The new campus is really good.

With the focus being on discipline, students excel in academics and deen. Love working here in the family-like environment!

All my 3 kids are going to this school for the last two years i.e. Since the first day the school started.

I am very satisfied with the performance of the school. All my three kids have shown visible improvements in knowledge, learning, discipline, ideas, creative writing, behaviour, mannerism, practising salah and Islamic traits.

The school has a very good approach for teaching. Kids are given Islamic and general examples in various subjects.

Like every other school, kids do pick up some small issues, but I personally found that the administration very effectively and efficiently resolves all issues. Bullying is not tolerated at all.

When it comes to student performance, the teachers talk to the parents to make strategies for improvement, and both parents and teachers work towards the common goal i.e. The improvement of student's performance.

There is always a room for improvement. But I am a satisfied parent, and would keep on referring others to this school. Today my kids are know to be very well behaved, confident and smart kids, who know their values and practice their religion well.

Worst School. Low level education. Unprofessional staff especially the lady Principal. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I took the Arabic 101 course at Al Manarat and Br Junaid was my instructor for it. Br Junaid did an exceptional job in teaching vocabulary and the grammatical rules of the Quranic Arabic. I'm able to pick up on some of the translation of the Qur'an now, alhamdulillah. The instructor was persistent and dedicated to explaining in a way that helped the students understand all of the concepts. He's also quite genuine and easy to approach. I would definitely recommend this course to beginners that want to grasp the basics of the Arabic grammar!
