Al-Meezan Grocery & Halal Meat

Watch out these guy over charge you, check your bills, you will find out lots of of things that you got charged for which you didn't even got it.

Usually good food but today they gave me day old food chicken and rice was dry and hard cz day old waste my 50 bucks lol and they called halal

Do not even try buy halal meat. They lie about the meat, i remember ask them specifically goat instead they give me ship which i get sick if I eat
Remember muslim don’t lie.

The food from this place is absolutely amazingly delicious. Especially the chicken legs and rice are to die for. I travel all the way from Milton to pick up food here once in a while.

My family has been a regular here for years, even before covid. Great tasting bbq chicken and we usually order the goat curry too, which was just full of tiny bones this time. We are used to the bones, but this time was just too much tiny bones (picture 2) and I have to share this because I choked on one really small one out of many other pieces that were too small and could have been easily removed from the food.

Please be careful of the bones in the goat curry. I was literally choking for a good 10 minutes thank God I got it out. It kept poking at my throat when I tried swallowing and when it came out, it was the size of a tiny fish bone (picture 3). It definitely chipped out of the bone marrow fatty part of the goat (picture 1) while I was eating.

Overall, food is pretty good.could be better especially when it is fresh. You know it has been sitting out for awhile when it is a bit dry, but still good after microwaving at home.

The food is good, but everyone pleaaaasseee be careful of goat curry bones.

One of the most disgusting places I have ever walked into since the pandemic started. Walked in on Thursday and the cook didn’t have a mask on. I immediately felt uncomfortable but still placed an order. While he was prepping my order I heard him cough 5-6 times in the back. I was so grossed out that I just walked out. Don’t walk into this place or buy anything. Absolutely disgusting. Put on your mask if you are handling food, especially if you are sick or probably have COVID.

The best quality meat you can ask for. Staff will do whatever you need to cut meat to perfection. T bone steak definitely best in town.

Food is AWESOME. Everything I have tried so far is delicious. People are nice. Good prices and its REAL food. Better than pizza and cheaper and healthier too. Shwarma, chicken or beef is great. Samosas, chicken, beef or veggie, 2 for $1 super tasty. BBQ chicken legs $2.99, beef Kabob same price. Will definitely become a regular customer.

2 for $1 samosas! Try the beef they are awesome. Shawarmas, rice, fish and lots of other Afghan goodies and they also have groceries and a butcher. It's all 100% halal and very well priced.

Meat is always fresh, but you will have hard time finding parking and would have to be in line to be served on the weekends.

Great halal Afghani meat store! Excellent ground beef! I come here to buy ground beef because their ground meats doesn't have any weird taste nor do they mix sheep fat in the mix like some other butchers and stires do. Their ground season chicken is soooooooooooooooo goood!
