Our daughter has been attending for the past 4 years and she has enjoyed her time there thoroughly. Her teachers have guided her well and we have seen her grow academically, in confidence, and in her Islamic identity.

Al-Risala Academy is a safe, well-organized school. It is registered with, and meets the requirements of the Ministry of Education with the Government of Ontario. Aside from the academic curriculum, Islamic curricula is also provided including daily prayer, seerah, hifz, and Islamic history/civilization studies.

During school exhibitions, student projects are put on display, often accompanied by a live student presentations/demonstrations. We applaud the efforts Al-Risala Academy teachers and administration for helping their students strive for the highest standards of excellence.

We hope that our daughter can have the opportunity to continue attending Al-Risala Academy, in sha Allah, and encourage this opportunity for others, too.

No school, public or private, is perfect. That being said, Al-Risala Academy is a grassroots effort led by an absolutely wonderful administration with a sincere concern for the well-being and respectful, educational development of their students as part of the wider Muslim, and Canadian community. They are doing an excellent job!

Al Risala school is a good place to send your children for education and also for learning islamic values. Hard working teachers and vigilant school administration gives a place for students to grow.

Al-Risala Academy is a great and more than wonderful place, and it is worth putting your children to study there safely, especially you feel you belong to your family. The child is known to all the teachers, you feel everyone's interest and the desire to hear your opinion, to help, to alert you to points that you may not be aware of. Your child goes and comes back to Al-Risala happy. It is a safe place in every sense of the word. They teach the students the Qur'an and Islamic morals. Mr. Nadim Alwan (Al-Risala principal) is a generous person who loves children and deals with them as a father and a friend. The teachers have a high degree of morals, care and a firm desire to give the students everything they can give and help them in their academic development. I did not regret, even for a moment, that Al-Risala was the school I chose for my daughters in Canada. Many thanks to its principal Mr. Nadim Alwan, Mrs. Souad, Mrs. Wisam, Mr. Yaman, and all the teachers of the grade one and kindergarten.

I wish you success always and forever

A great school under one of the best management I see. Quality of teachers are nothing compared to public schools.

The school management literally treated the students like family. They helped the students in every way possible to help them achieve best results and become their best selves. Teachers were also great at delivering information and always willing to help with all questions and matters. Also, the school environment was very family like and friendly. I have went to public school and I have seen other islamic schools in Ontario but nothing matches Al-Risala Academy. Absolutely one of the best, if not the best, private Islamic school in Ontario.

My wife and I were worried about the ramifications of the second wave of COVID 19. So, we decided to try the on-line program of Al-Risala Academy as we didn’t have on-line schooling in our remote province. From the beginning, we were very impressed with the efficient communication. The principle and administration are very friendly and approachable even in the after-hours or during weekends! From the first day, our children loved the school environment and the culture and made friends The teachers are organized, keen, friendly yet strict. Many of them went above and beyond to help the children excel. They even formed WhatsApp groups for better communication with parents. All in all, we felt we are part of a big family and our children, believe it or not, enjoy the classes every day.
Yes, I definitely recommend this school.

Hands down, best school in the Gta, This school offers so much more than other public or private schools. I personally attended school there from grade 10-12 and i absolutely loved it. Principal Nadeem can be strict sometimes but he is a fair, amazing guy. The staff is also wonderful and honestly it feels like a second home for all students. It will also easily get you in any university/college you are dreaming of and thats because their academic level of teaching is like no other. Best of luck to students and to the wonderful staff that's keeping Al-risala Acadamey the top leading Islamic school in the GTA.

Have two siblings in this school and can say as an expert in youth and society studies, this school provides great academical baseline and also focuses on the behavioural aspect by explaining and following Islamic teaching.

Al-Risala Academy is a school which can be described as a second home. The environment is super friendly and warm. All the teachers are super kind and are very good at teaching. When it comes to education Al-Risala Academy knows exactly what it is doing. Academically, it has perfect ways of teaching students and encouraging them to do their best. As it also perfectly prepares students for every university out there. As for its principal, Brother Nadim Alwan is a very understanding and fair principal who runs his school very well. I personally have been a student at Al-Risala for almost 7 years and I would gladly love to graduate from this school.

It's a very small environment. The principal isn't friendly. There are alot of unimportant strict rules. It doesn't help improve the students' social and communicating skills.

I love the overall school atmosphere (friendly and cooperative teachers, Islamic environment to feel safe for your child and high level of academic achievement). I am making a huge change in the future of my children by enrolling them at Al Risala school.

This is very recent after 1 year and half with this school
Academic level is ok as most teachers (non Arabic) are very qualified.stay away from Arab
But I can say the management is below zero
The head office, my experience with them came from
My son being bullied frequently from same people
When I went to speak with mister Nadeem
No enough response as it should be if respected school.even he after watching the video, the only video that I got to watch, never apologized or taken an action against the offending same kid each time hurting my son.on the reverse they considered that me one mother for one child but other bad boys are family in school so financially it is not good to be against them and defend the right.they only suspend the child half day at school although boxed my son with no resone
After that, I told I will get police help, guess what, they told no overhand as we r private school.and threatened me if any thing my son did we will report in his file.my son is polite never hurt others and others mostly together against him as no punishment to what thier deeds.depending that they r protected by thier working teachers mother at school and other brothers at school as well.not to forget depending that no body from school will take an action against them.i tried to correct what they broke in my son, believing that Islamic school will follow the most right clear way, my son told me
Mama they care about money, they protect the wrong, they accept lie, praying people should not be like that.i left school after long try of proving that right action should be taken but in Vain.my son went back public, Iam advising everyone seeking Islamic school to be sure first about the administration office and management
And what is the policy in case of bullying or other problems
And plz stay away from Arabic owners

Any body wants more details
Iam so wellcom to share
