Al'deewan Bakery (Manak'eesh) on Lawrence Ave East

When i'm in a rush but still desirous of a good quality brunch, Al'deewan on Lawrence is what I get. The oven bakes fresh pies and pastries called Manakeesh and they have so many different kinds to choose from. I like the spinach and cheese and the Halal Mortadella one, among many others. Their beverage selection is unique as well.

I come to the Al Deewan Bakery every other day. They never let me down, every time I come here I get more confused with their menu, it’s delicious. However, there is a guy named Naeem, he always gives me good vibes in the morning, I like it! Thanks.

I ordered their beef and cheese Manakeesh + 6 other smaller pastries and it was really good. The Manakeeshes are made fresh when you order them. Will definitely be coming back

I attended the Grand Opening today and it was great, the food was awesome and you couldn't beat the $2.each price. Alot of free giveaway and prizes. It was packed for Opening day!

This great place if you want to eat some Lebanese food and Manak'eesh fresh the price is right and service excellent

Dad services customer and I payed money and I didn’t get anything they said u have to wait to get your order and I wait 2 hours and I didn’t get my order and they didn’t give my money back

Best manakeesh you could ever taste! The grand opening was amazing, and the gifts were very thoughtful!

Fantastic manakeesh! I had the beef manakeesh which was flavourful and the base was crisp. It was delicious! I came in from parkdale on the TTC to visit Aleppo kebab and this bakery was the star of my visit! The staff was welcoming and ready to help me explore the many, many great options they have available.

I’ve attended the grand opening yesterday of their new location. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They had lots of fun and joyful entertainment, all their manakeesh were for ONLY $2, which tasted so delicious. They also gave out expensive gift bags. And they were also going around offering people pastries for free. I am very impressed!

I came all the way from Ottawa to spend the weekend, and heard about the grand opening of this bakery. As I tried the ones on Kennedy before, it was very exciting for me to be there for their second location grand opening. It was definitely a great experience! It was fun, everyone was happy dancing and singing! The food was amazing along with their prices. They were giving free gift bags and free pastries. They had beautiful decoration, and their customer service was amazing. I’m so glad I was here to attend!
