As an electricity provider, Alectra utilities is the worst I have dealt with. Customer service agents are rude, have no information on the outages, and whatever it is Alectra is doing to fix the problem clearly doesn't work since outages keep happening. Worst ever utility.

The location on derry REMOVED the really cool neon purple lights that they had on at night in their parking lot. I’m very disappointed to see this as it has affected me to a great extent

Power out for hours, after hours number says it’s closed kinda defeats the purpose of an after hours number don’t you think. Employee sitting in his truck in front of my house playing on his phone.

Absolutely disgusting, horrible company! They cut power off to my physically disabled sister, with no notice. The technician verbally and physically assaulted my father!
Alectra used this as an excuse to keep power off for a week. They really screwed us around.we are taking legal action

So reading below someone had this joke of a company set up an account in his name to an address he does not live at and threatening collections. I can beat that, I can't set up an account in the address I do live at. They won't say what they need from me, I provided a pdf of the land registry with my name as owner. They said they need to speak to previous owner who is deceased. Getting my ouija board out now

They medically discriminate against people. One of very few companies who still require covid vax proof, and supports communism

Power outage still down in Meadowvale neighbourhood of Mississauga. Still down yet your Twitter says it’s back up and to call if still experiencing issues. When people call, the phone line automatically hangs up. Despicable corporate governance. No accountability.

This company is absolutely horrible. They opened an account in my name and I started getting bills for a house I don't even live in. I have been calling them for over 2 months to get it sorted. I keep getting told I will get a call back and I never do, Now I have a final bill and a threat they will send me to collections. They admitted it was opened in their error yet nothing is done about. I keep getting told I will get an email confirmation it has been closed, yet I get nothing except more bills. Worst custom service I have ever seen.
