The gyro has definitely grew a lot smaller than before. I am not going to talk about the price.

Best gyro I’ve had! I had the chicken gyro, but pricey for me as a student but soooo good that I went back for more! I also tried the Greek burger which is phenomenal for anyone who loves feta. Will be coming back here again!

We used to love this place, it was affordable and tasty and the food is still pretty good, but you get less and the cost has skyrocketed. We paid $30 for two tiny sandwiches, no sides, and a can of coke. We won't be coming back.

The location is everything! The small restaurant offers take out and a very small dinning area (outside and indoor). The food itself was alright. I tried the greek fries and chicken gyro.

It was a quick bite

Surprised about the quality of food here. I took a pita with pork meat and it was delightful. Highly recommend for a good snack!

The chicken tasted stale, literally the worst gyro I've eaten in Toronto. Had absolutely no flavor.

Not even close to Greek souvlaki. I’ve lived in Greece for a long time and THAT was not a souvlaki. My friend got the vegetarian one, and she thought it would have all the ingredients but meat, but that was Not what she got. The vegetarian souvlaki had only “tzatziki” onion and cabbage or lettuce, whatever that was. Not a slice of cucumber, tomato or even fries! Souvlaki without fries?
So disappointed. Never again.

By far the WORST greek food we have ever had. The staff was rude, the woman wouldnt even allow me to chose what we wanted on the chicken wraps. Said no, they are already made! Also didnt include the baklava i ordered which i should have just left there as ive bot had baklava that bad ever. Instead i went back to get it as she didnt include it in my bag. That would have been 6$ extra profit they made. Clearly business isnt what it used to be pre covid. I am greek, and i know greek food, and ive never had worse. For $48 for 2 of us to have dinner is disgusting.

The price and the portions do not match at all. Portions are small and price is $$$ high. Food is decent though. The lady in the front cash has no customer service at all.

I’ve loved this place for years, which is why upon recovering from 24 long and agonizing hours of the worst food poisoning I’ve ever had in my life, it pains me to write this review. I’m unsure if it was tainted meat or improper food handling, but I trusted this restaurant and was betrayed. Incredible food, but for me, no longer worth the gamble.

Food was great, service was great, things looked and tasted super fresh and I would go there again anytime

I asked for chiken they served me PORK.and they refused to change it or to give me back my money.the place is dirty.i don't recommand.

J'ai commandé 3 sandwich au poulet, quand on a commencé à manger moi et ma famille on s'est rendus compte que ce n'était pas du poulet mais du PORC, j'ai demandé qu'il nous change les sandwich mais il a refusé, j'ai demandé d'être remboursé mais il a aussi refusé, en plus l'endroit est dégueulasse. JE NE RECOMMANDE PAS.

Far from what it used to be in the early 2000's. I think the best reviews are one-off's from tourists with lower expectations.

Excellent authentic food, the quality of the pork was very good. Their tzatziki is one of the best I've had! Their pork gyro is really good, definitely worth a shot.
There was a rat lurking around the patio though which scared my girlfriend away and we had to leave and eat by the Harbourfront so it's better if you just do take out until they find a way to deal with that.

I would do 0 stars if I could. Got some kind of beef gyro plate.and the beef looked like cardboard not fresh at all.some kind of frozen meat maybe.along with salad that looked gross.do not waste your money here.

I got the Greek fries and it was pretty good. However staff was not friendly at all and small portion for $6 compared to other Greek fries at other Greek places. Went back yesterday to try the gyro however saw a mouse running towards their kitchen and that was honestly disgusting. I would probably not go back!

Literally the worst Greek food ever. Do not waste your time. Chicken was cold and overcooked, salad was mush, they say it comes with potatoes and rice on their website but what they really mean is (cold and hard) french fries. They even forgot to give us the tzatziki to top it all off. Don't use their website, look at the photos in uber eats since that's updated. If you are expecting good Greek food, don't waste your time.

Am I missing something? Beautiful spring day, sat outside next to water, was about the only good thing about the lunch experience.

Took a chicken shawarma on pita. It was horrible. Since it was a take out order, had to throw away the entire thing after a couple of bites. The chicken was burnt.

This is defined not quality greek food. Meat was really dry in gyros and souvlaki. Salad wasn't really tasty, tzaziki wasn't feeling right way or fresh. Fries were okay. Over this was overpriced and disappointing.

Solid spot that's a staple in the city! Good is pretty good and it's also open late night bit is just an enjoyable during the work day.

Got a combo for 30 dollars. Excellent food, great portion sizes, incredibly fast service. Very satisfied, will definitely be coming back.

Good gyros. The only complaint would be the size. It was a little small compared to most I’ve tried. Friendly service.

Amazing pork gyros! Go here if you want to be full and happy! I have been coming here for over 16 years, and the food is still just as awesome as the first day.

Really good gyros. The chicken was super tender and tasteful! Not a great fan of the salad dressing (can’t stand yellow mustard)

Always a favourite for me to make a pit stop when riding my bike along the harbour front. Quick service and good eats! Spanakopita is really nice. I usually just get their wraps to go and have been impressed with the flavour. Portion sizes are a bit small, given the price point - but I guess it’s because it’s located in a high traffic area. Still very tasty!

Definitely looks like a hole in the wall but ive been going here for about 15-20 years and the chicken/pork mix with all toppings add xtra tziki and or garlic and its to die for.

Can't believe I didn't try this place sooner. Was super fresh and delicious. Will definitely be going back.

I prefer their other place on Danforth and Logan, but this waterfront was also amazing!

Cool little place with lovely chicken gyro. I also took one chicken on the stick which was hot, juicy and tasty.
My favourite stop at Harbour front from now on.

We went to Alexandros for lunch today and got a pork gyro, chicken gyro, and fries. Service was fast and friendly, the shop had a lot of charm, and food was super tasty. My one criticism is that there was way too much sauce, which made it very difficult to eat. Overall good though, so I would recommend it for a takeout meal by the water!

Walked in. Ordered the gyro dinner to go. Saw a mouse run across the floor. Walked out. Threw my food in the garbage.

First time ordering here at this location, I phoned first and asked if thier burgers were homemade and I was told by some older woman that yes they're homemade, only to find out that it was a paw shaped frozen patty. Still tasted ok but I just dont like being lied to. The Greek fries had very little feta on them, I have to question if the cook is Greek, usually the portions are so great you cant finish it.

One of the better Greek Food restaurants in Toronto. The store can get quite busy sometimes but if you call in and make an order you’ll be golden. Also, if you’re looking for a late night meal, Alexandros would definitely be a healthier option than other fast-food chains like McDonald’s.

I've been coming here for the last 15 years before the original or sold it it was the best they would load you up after they sold it the new owners it was the worst experience I ever had ahead less than half a cup of meat I had to gyros a bottle water $23 I felt so ripped off all I had was to D and lettuce and I could even find them eat what a huge disappointment I never going there again And the meat was cold

If I can choose 0 star I 100% would! This afternoon April 2,2021, Went to Alexndros Take out spent $45.00 and worst idea ever! The food was OLD! The chicken was all burnt and the way they make their sandwiches is just horrible as if there in a race or something! Such a messy job! The salad just seemed like it was not washed properly I will never go here! I still dont understand why people like this place this reviews are false! STAY AWAY!

No masks were worn in store. Staff member cleaned their nail beds while making my gyro.

I used to love coming there used to get all the time but, I’m completely turned off by the lack of cleanliness and no masks while working with the food including no shields.

Ordered a pork gyro and it was delicious. Very juicy meat and the flavours were fantastic. The cost seems a little high for what you get though, but maybe it's due to their unique location. The coronavirus can't have helped either.

Overall really good food but there was a toothpick in my chicken gyro wrap and I am glad I found it out when I bit into it and sorted it out of my mouth instead of swallowing it. It could be dangerous I believe.

Owner is intensely homophobic. Guy was going on a massive rant about his hatred of gays the last time friends and I went there. Really has no place in Toronto or Canada

I stop here periodically, especially in the summer after a day of riding my bike along the waterfront. The Gyros are really amazing, and good value. It's a small place with outdoor seating, but it's fast and tasty.

Amazing and delicious gyros. Really great value as gyros are always stuffed and the ingredients are fresh. The service is friendly and welcoming. Really convenient to eat at the waterfront.
