Not good. Small portions, high price, terrible atmosphere. Messini and Souv Like much better

Fast food experience for take out at dine in pricing. I ordered the beef and lamb gyros and was suprises when he got the meat from the refrigerator and then grilled the meat. The kit from metro tasted the same. I asked for no tomatoes three tomes and on second photo you can see the tomatos. They were skimping out on the garnish, many location in area load up on lettice and tzatiki sauce.

Washroom was out of service also. Many better option at a higher quality and lower prices price minutes away. But while i was waiting they were making the pork gyro in house.

Although it's sad to know that a beautiful woman was taken by a terrible act of violence I think peace is what is around the appearance of good will

I took a bite of my gyro and literally started crying because it was so bad. The chicken is like SHARDS of glass because it’s so dry and poorly cooked - the new owners don’t know how Greek food is made. I literally cried I’m not joking I didn’t even bother to go back because I know they wouldn’t be able to make a proper fresh one. Dear new owners: please just pick up the phone and ask the old owners how they kept the chicken moist on the grill. Please, I’m sure they’ll be more than willing to help. To customers: go to Souvlike down the street. It’s not like old Alexandros but at least it’s not horrible shards of glass.

This used to be our go to spot for years, but the food was total disappointment. We ordered chicken souvlaki on pita. The chicken was hard as rock, burned and hardly edible. The service was decent, but we were there for food. Complete disaster.

This place used to be one of my favourite spots on the Danforth. Good food for the best price. Went there today and saw that the original owners have retired and sold the place.the prices have doubled since the new owners have taken over. The lady who served me took 30 minutes to make my pita. Absolutely burned and dried my chicken since she left it on the grill for so long. Won’t be coming back, that’s for sure.

Worst gyros I've ever had in my life. Most of the comments were positive and convincing however both service and food was very bad. There was not almost any tzatziki (maybe one tea spoon). The meat was overcooked and dry

I went here based on other reviews but I believe the quality has gone down recently. The gyros I ordered were really tiny in size compared to other restaurants in Danforth. The taste was okay.

Ordered the chicken dinner. Chicken looked and tasted like it had been cooked in the morning and left in a warming dish where it slowly dried out and leathered over time. Dinner was supposed to come with potatoes and rice, instead it came with fries. Salad was slapped together and leaking from the container.

Disappointing. Inedible.

Try the pork on Greek fries and you'll thank me later! However, since the new owner took over, my favorite meal has become overly salty. It's disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite comfort foods. Considering the current quality, it's no longer worth the price.

You get what you pay for. As a vegetarian this isn’t the place if you’re looking for a solid meal. There is a cheap veggie wrap and falafel but both are very small and it’s just bread lettuce, tomato and sauce. The bathroom is gross. They have a cute patio to sit outside.

Terribly dirty, the lowest quality Gyros. All processed lamb and beef. French fries were fried in the oil which was reheated 100 times. Customer service? Really? What's that?

Bought a gyros on pita and the pork looks just bad and hard. It s as if they left it for a week and just microwaved it. Never coming back.

Oldie, but still great food. If you are picking up, great selection.anything from there is good.

Alexandros is the best greek restaurant I have ever been to. It was my first time visiting here and it was the best choice I had ever made. When I first walked in I was presented with a lady saying welcome to Alexandros and how are you today. Then she asked me what I would like to order and patiently waited for my answer. They had also asked me a good amount of questions about how I would like my food and clarified if they didn't have a certain food.

After I enjoyed food I started a conversation with them and had a deep talk about society. They taught me a lot of things. They gave a sense of positive energy that had put me in a good mood. So with that being said I very much recommend this restaurant as it's welcomeing and the food taste absolutely amazing.

Did not receive my order for delivery after waiting 2 hours i was notified it was cancelled.

My daughter and I visited here and it was such a comfortable and fun experience! It felt like a vacation. The owners are really friendly and told us about their beautiful culture too! It was peaceful, overlooking the park and the Alexander the Great statue. We even saw a short filming production while eating our dinner. We all had a good laugh and it made the visit even more memorable.
Their food is delicious and yummy. The mouthwatering chicken, the rice, the salad, was flavorful and hit the spot on such a cold day.
I thank Alexandros for having us and we definitely will come back soon!

Best chicken gyro (when fresh) in Toronto. I think about it at least once a day. Customer service is not superb, but treat it like a hole in a wall and you’re good.

The food is nothing to write home about. I find it expensive fir what you get. I paid $8.50 for a cheese burger which consisted of a small puck like frozen patty. My daughter had requested lettuce, tomato, pickle and Ketchup as her garnishes. Well you had to search for these items.
I order the chicken souvlaki dinner. It consisted of 2 chicken skewers but the where not chicken souvlaki just plain chicken on a skewer without any spices. I opted for rice, and that's exactly what I received plain rice with no sauce or flavoring of any kind. I can save that the salad was okay.
So for an inedible chicken nit soyvlak8 dinner, a hockey puck frozen patty cheeseburger and a Greek salad my order was $45 wasted.
Normally I do not post negative reviews as I feel they hurt small businesses but with things getting so expensive people can't afford to waste their money on subpar food. Especially when they are on a tight budget and are trying to treat their families and themselves.

This place has gone downhill.
I ordered takeout via Skip last Friday and my order turned out to be a series of unfortunate discoveries. They completely messed my order up, forgot things and the meat was very dry. Needless to say I won't be coming back unfortunately.
