Casey from Alexanian Carpet Cleaning Services provided an excellent professional service. We had water damage from the August 2023 storm and all stains were completely removed. Casey was pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommended.

First experience with Ali was Ok. Came back to make the purchase the following weekend, and was turned away by his extremely rude and unprofessional colleague, even though the store was empty. I was told to come back on a day when Ali was working… like seriously? ! I don’t work for you

I should have taken my business elsewhere that day, but I mistakingly went back when Ali was working. He was also incredibly rude in his tone, and did not honour his original quote/ offer. What an absolute joke and waste of my time.

I have happily given my business to another company (same carpet for a better price too!), and won’t be returning to “Ali-xanian”

We recently replaced the old and tired laminate flooring in our high-rise condo and experienced such wonderful customer service at Alexanian on Industrial. Hands down the rudest staff I have ever come across in my flooring search, and I've been to almost every retailer. Also, the prices quoted to me were double that of the other franchised locations. Recommend you visit the other locations; significantly nicer staff and better prices.

Ordered some flooring and Ali said it would be about a week. Called tonight to get the status of my order. The guy said he would call back but after an hour I tried calling back but now no one answers! I wasn't impressed with the salesman to start who was more interested in playing on his phone than waiting on me and if I didn't like the tile I found, I would gave gone somewhere else. My friend was also looking for flooring but said he would go somewhere else. I will not use this company again! I can't comment in the quality of the floor because I still don't have it.

After visiting 3 other flooring businesses to replace my entire upstairs flooring and 2 staircases I went to Alexanian Carpet & Flooring on Industrial Rd. This was finally the place to be for service, selection, help and recommendations. Roland walked me through the various flooring products, thoroughly explaining the pros and cons and was patient with my questions. He was professional and made what was beginning to be a stressful process for me super easy. I finally have gorgeous engineered hard wood floors and fantastic new carpet on both staircases. I will definitely return for any future projects and would recommend Alexanian Ottawa east to family and friends.

Carpet sent for cleaning and repair 2 months ago. Terrible client service from both Alexanian store and cleaning department. Promised multiple times that carpet would be ready. Would not recommend Alexanian for this kind of service.

They don't tell you this up front, it is in the small print on your order form, that you read after paying. And they are the ones that determined how many boxes were required. Will not shop there again.

We received good service during the purchase period. After the install we had an issue. After a less then favorable review the store manage call me, listen to my concerns and then ask to visit. After the visit he was able to find a solution.

This shows me that he really cares about his customers and will go out of his way.

We will be shopping at Alexanian Carpet & Flooring again.

Hardwood & Carpet Installation

We unfortunately need to provide this review, after what had initially seemed to be a great interaction with Alexanian.

Prior to the installation, we were more than happy with our customer service experience and felt that the quality of what we had ordered and the price was more than fair.

After calling the store on the day when the installation was to begin and having heard nothing and having nobody come to the house, we learned that they were unable to begin work that day but could come several days later. We were told that if this was not convenient, we would have to wait several months for the work to be completed.

The installers were wonderful, they worked hard and were extremely pleasant and professional to work with. It was clear that the time the store had anticipated for the work to be completed was not long enough, leaving the team to rush to finish on the last day.

Unfortunately, the installers didn't have everything they needed to complete the job (missing reducers) and we noticed when they left that in some places, the carpet hadn't been nailed down. We contacted the store multiple times over the following days, weeks and months by phone and email and have yet to receive any indication on when, or if, the work will be complete.

Wish I could give this retailer no stars I ordered carpet was told it was in stock Toronto so could be installed in 10 days two weeks no call back and we call and where told carpet was clearing customs [from Toronto] have called time and time again and we are told they will get back to us no call back, it has been almost 5 weeks and no responce or contact and we have already paid for job. This suppier is not trustworthy and reccommend you do not use.

Passed by to check for a matching nosing for my Hardwood floor. Good service and assistance and a great selection of flooring products. Store is well organized and well lit and good display.

A few days ago the installers from the Alexanians on Industrial, laid a kitchen floor for me: what an amazing team! Very professional, lovely job, very affable, cleaned up after the job was complete and how nice: a father son team! Thank you Al and Phil! And kudos too to the salesman Ali, who was a good listener and understood exactly what I wanted and didn't muddy the waters with all kind of sales "tricks". He also put in the order on time and the product was delivered in a timely fashion! Thank you Alexanians!

This is the 2nd time I have used this co.for a major carpeting requirement.
The Manager, Tony Khoury and his team are friendly and professional. Tony personally assessed and assigned an economical price - his estimate and recommendations were adhered to.
For the first scheduled installation, I could not be present despite the "fitters" showing up at my house. I was not charged for this and a second fitting was promptly re-scheduled.
I would not hesitate to engage this company for any future flooring needs in the future.

This place was recommended to me by a friend and she was not wrong, the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was able to make an affordable educated choice and will definitely recommend it to friends and family.thank you Roland you were great.

Roland took the time to answer the many questions I had about the difference in harwood. He educated me on the density of each variation and helped me to pick a perfect wood for our home. They were very patient with me. Their prices are great and service is great. Roland and Ali helped me from start to finish. My wife, Rita, had a very positive experience at Alexanian on Industrial Avenue in Ottawa. She went there in the last week of November for hardwood flooring and had been told that all their flooring crews were busy till mid January. So we booked for the flooring to be done in mid January. However, some scheduling conflicts with the painting of the apartment cropped up and we really needed the flooring to be done much earlier. When apprised of our problems, Tony, the manager of the store, was extremely helpful. He went out of his way to personally visit the apartment with his installer to measure the rooms and managed to find time slots between scheduled jobs to have our flooring done by Dec. 16th. Great experience. I moved in to a house recently and wanted to do some flooring work and rip of tie carpet to put wood instead. Walked in there and Ali took it from there. I had no Experience what so ever in the colour I need or the material I’m looking for. Ali’s knowledge in the business assisted a lot and eased the way for me to get what I want. Ali went above and beyond to get me exactly what I was looking for and not only he got me what I’m looking for but also he got a great team to get the job done. I came in looking for a new kitchen floor but not really knowing what I wanted to put down since ceramic was such a headache last time. I got approached by Joe right away and I let him know my dilemma. Sure enough he had all the answers to my question and I ended up going with Vinyl Tile which I had no idea existed. I had a great experience at Alexanians, all the way from the service to installation. Definitely recommend! Very reasonable and fair prices as well.

Seriously recommend anyone to at least stop by Alexanian if they’re looking for any sort of flooring! I dealt with a salesman named Joe.great guy/great service. Never felt pressured into anything, he made sure I understood all the pros/cons of the different products they had so I can make the right selection for myself. Ended up with some carpet in the bedrooms, engineered wood on the main floor and vinyl tile in the kitchen. It all looks great so thank you Alexanian for the great experience!

I had a great time at Alexanians. My salesman was Joe, he had all of the answers to my questions like he should and presented many different solutions to my problems. Nevertheless, we had an unexpected issue with our installation. We had to then speak to the manager Tony and the speed in which he took care of the situation and made sure we were satisfied was unmatched. So thank you Tony and Joe for the lovely job!

I'm new to town and lost my way during a very chilly and windy night with no winter coat. When I was waiting for a ride, the staff let me stay in the warm building and were very kind. Thank you very much for the help and making sure I got home safely!

A HUGE thank you to Roland and the entire team at Alexanian Carpet and Flooring on Industrial Road. We were given the VIP treatment from the moment we visited the showroom right through to the installation. They left our home in immaculate condition following the install as well which is not always the case. We LOVE our new flooring and highly recommend Roland and the team at Alexanians!

Salesman informed me that there was only one option for me unless I was selling my house or renting. It was almost $6 sq ft at 50% off. It seemed like an expensive option even on sale. I shopped around and found a better price and the carpet is great. Thanks for warning me that your reasonably priced carpets are not fit for my own house Roland!

Thank you to Ali and Tony for your help with our large flooring job. We had 1200 Sq ft of Wool Carpet and 1100 Sq feet of Oak Hardwood installed in our new to us home in Orleans. They also installed stained our railing and installed new spindles (I painted) and posts. Al and son were meticulous with the instillation and truly went above and beyond. The minor issues that came up with handled really well and we are thrilled with the end result. There were zero surprises and we were kept informed of progress throughout the entire job. It was a pleasure doing business with the entire team. THANK YOU!

Overall things turned out well with the area rug I ordered from their online site, and I really like the rug I chose. I was disappointed on two points, however. Firstly: when I called to ask if the order would be ready for pick up by Christmas, I was assured it would be. The problem was that I didn't get a call to let me know it would be delayed. It's a busy time of year so I totally understand that things happen, especially to "small potatoes" orders like mine. I just would have appreciated a call so I wasn't left wondering. When I called the store to check in on the order, I felt like the staff member was giving me the brush off: no apology for the delay, just "we'll call you when it arrives". Again, I understand that people were busy but given the situation, I don't consider this pleasant service. Secondly: when it arrived, the rug had very noticeable dirty patches on the outside corners. I was able to shampoo them out and the rug looks great now, but it was a bit of a let down.
