Alfa Spa & Wellness (Massage facial & Laser)

Today, I had a massage appointment scheduled for 2: 00 PM, and I arrived at 1: 45 PM. However, the masseur assigned to me was delayed by 6 minutes before starting the session. Midway through, unexpectedly, they mentioned needing to step out for about 5 minutes, and another masseur replaced them during that time.

This caused a loss of approximately 10 minutes in total. I found this experience unacceptable. Despite sharing my concerns with the reception, they didn't address or acknowledge my feedback. This was my third visit, and it left me quite disappointed.

I had an absolutely outstanding experience! The staff went above and beyond, displaying exceptional friendliness and helpfulness, and my appointment was impeccably punctual.

Best experience ever. Very pleasant and the RT lady was amazing and kept asking about the pressure if it’s too hard or soft. She totally hit the spots were I needed. Will definitely go again.

I went to Alfa Spa and Wellness for a massage and the experience was pretty bad. The masseuse applied no pressure even though I asked multiple times. I also told the masseuse to focus on the ankles, which she didn't care for. I would not go back again.

I gave this place a 3 out of 5.
There is enough parking at the plaza. When you walk in it smells nice, the atmosphere can use a little more work but it was clean which was nice. I would have gave a rating of 4 but the reason i didn't is because i had a couples massage and we both agreed that the part where you rest your face and forehead is completely flat and no padding at all which was very uncomfortable and gave us a headache as well as pressure on my jawline trying to keep face up the little cloth did nothing. The girl who massage me was very nice, she was pretty Pettit and her hands weren't as powerful as i would have liked. Sometimes i barley felt the area being massaged because it was so light. I just needed a little more strength but that's me. Otherwise i would recommend going here if your in the area. I would suggest to the business to maybe have some padding at forehead face area and maybe for the reception to be more inviting and better greeting when people come in since she's the first person that people see when they come in.

I really enjoyed the RMT with Kilie! She was so good at it! I would highly recommend the place and her! I would definitely come back to this place again!

I had a great experience in alpa spa and wellness located in Vaughan. I booked one hour massage with Sophie and I really enjoyed the service. The music that was playing was very nice and helped to relax. The front desk was also very welcoming and friendly.

I booked a 1 hour massage for my parents and they had an amazing experience! I was able to pre pay over the phone and appreciated how they answered all my questions before the booking. You'll definitely get your moneys worth here. Only suggestion is, before the massage, you have to specify what area of the body you want massaged, since in my parents case they didn't do the feet.

Front desk lady extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Acupuncturist experienced, knowledgeable and willing to help.

Last week I had a deep tissue full massage. The lady was nice, she asked me with parts of my body I prefer more. I said full body but mostly my back.
She finished the massage without touching my feet!
I asked her why? She said “ you asked for your back, next time I will do it”
what?
That doesn’t make sense. A full body deep tissue massage without feet doesn’t feel that much relaxing to me. It had a feeling that the massage was not finished. If she told me if you want your back more then I will skip some parts of your body and not even put oil and not even touch them, then I would say, full body please.
I never see that I have to chose in a deep tissue full body massage. Like she could do more on my back and less on the other parts, that could make sense.but not even touching them, that was not a relaxation I was looking for.
And I had a feeling like she doesn’t want to touch my feet which make me feel uncomfortable because she just touch them to cover them with the blanket.

Honestly ive been a customer for years. Lately weve been coming and they have been hit or miss. This one was the worst thing you could ever possibly imagine. Id rather someone hit me with a steel baseball bat……Ive given them thousands of dollars this is the last straw. I can find someone off the streets giving a better massage. My back was not hurting now i can barely move. Im not one to ever complain, but enough is enough. They lost my business.

Unfortunately, my experience wasn't so great. I've had massage therapy before but never have I ever been so stiff and in pain after before. It was a very last minute booking, which we are thankful for hence the 2 stars. My husband and I wanted to get a couple's massage done, they were able to squeeze us in. The massage wasn't even at all, very one sided and it's been a day and a half and I have pain along my spine. She spent a lot of time on one leg and like little to no time on the other. Seemed like no time was being tracked. Very disappointing experience

In response, I get massages regularly and stretch regularly as well. I know how massage affect the body and this was not normal. Thanks for the advice though.

Cheap material for facial. Massage is OK, nothing extraordinary. Not so much clean. No refreshments. Would definitely find better service for same price.

Both the wife and I enjoyed our massages and we are very sore the next day, but it's a good sore. My only issue is the music, I know that it needs to be soothing, but amazing grace?

The worst massage experience. The lady went extremely fast and pinch my skin. Her nails dug into me. She gave me bruises on my arms despite me telling her that it hurt. I usually go for very strong massages and I have a high pain tolerance but this was intolerable. I walked out and my body ached I needed pain killers. I do not recommend and will never go here her again.

My first time at this spa and it was really great. Me and my mom went for a deep tissue massage and a seaweed scrub treatment. The employees were very professional and made us feel welcomed, comforted and VERY relaxed. Great prices for the treatment we received. I will definitely be recommending this spa.

It was my first visit here and I’m disappointed.
I had an appointment at 3 o’clock and then they called me to change it for 3: 15, which is fine! But because it was my first visit there I had to fill up some forms which took me almost 10 minutes, then I went for my massage, after 45 minutes I was done without receiving a message for my left hand! When I told my RMT she said that she missed it and sometime is happening! And she spent maybe couple of more minutes on my left hand. By the time I was finished paying and everything it was only 4: 20 and I was charged for 60 minutes massage! I ended up paying for my visit myself because the receptionist said she can not submit the claim and I have to do it myself! Before booking I asked them if they are accepting direct claim through insurance companies and the answer was yes!

Great deep tissue massage. I walked in with a sore neck and upper back and shoulders and walked out feeling great! The therapist took her time and I got the full 60 minutes. She was very responsive to my request for massaging areas where I felt extra tightness. Highly recommend.

This is only theft, they offer free trial and hide the cancellation in the terms. They deducted 350$ from my account. Even the products hurt my skin. Don’t trust them or your account will be their victim, see the attached photo

Worst massage ever, I went there yesterday for RMT and today my back is hurting even more. Would not recommend this place if you have backache or any muscular pain.

I booked a 2 hour RMT massage and the
SOTHYS HYDRATING INTENSIVE FACIAL for both me and my mom.
The RMT told my mom she was done after an hour, but my mom told her she booked a 2 hour. The RMT had to leave the room to go check with reception and came back and proceeded for another hour.
I was booked in the last room down the hall.
During my massage, all I could hear was the washing machine going, as well as employees in the room beside on their break talking and using the microwave
I waited 30 minutes between my massage and facial.
The aesthetician came in and asked me what kind of facial I was getting and I told her I forgot which one I booked. She began to proceed anyway.
When I went to pay I ask what facial they are charging me for and they were charging me for the one I booked, however this facial was suppose to be 75 minutes and the one I received was only 45. I expressed my annoyance with the loudness during my massage, which was not relaxing and asked why I am paying for a facial I did not receive.

The lady at the desk was very unpleasant. I did not refuse payment for any service but wanted to express my experience as it was not at all pleasant

This place should not be called a spa. The washroom was such a mess with cleaning products exposed, it was very loud with employees talking, heating food in the microwave and the washing machine going.
The room was cold. They should have heating pads under the sheets for added comfort to guests

I booked at this place based on the reviews and I was extremely disappointed with the ambiance of this place

Visited this place for my girlfriend’s birthday. They have a very nice spa I love getting my back massage. They have a great technician that does a deep tissue massage which I love and the office staff are wonderful. They make your day special. Will be going back to get a massage for sure. Was skeptical to come at first due to covid, but Im glad that I did because my neck pain was hurting so much I couldnt even turn my head, my therapist did what she had to do and fixed my neck pain I can finally turn my head again! Would reccommed to anyone that are looking for good massage! They have a very professional team.

It was my first visit here, the front desk first checked my temperature and asked me to sanitize my hands with the sanitizer that they provide before filling forms, I feel like this spa is clean because before the appointment the the receptionist was asking covid related questions over the phone made sure I havent traveled or been in touched wit covid patients and not sick. I had to fill out some forms and front desk made sure I didnt touch the pen that the last client touched that was before me, she asked me to take a different one, and when I ask the front desk what they have to protocols they have to follow for covid she tells me they sanitize all massage table, door knobs and any surfaces that were highly touched so I know they probably strict about the protocols, I would reccomend to anyone that are looking for good massage will definately come back!

Second time here, lady for the facial is very rough not spa like and not relaxing, when she’s messaging ur head it hurts like hell and she didn’t really know what she was doing. I felt like all she was doing was putting lods of cream on my face. If u have long hair pass up on this, she got oil all over my scalp and I had to go home and shampoo my hair. She bumped the whole cart onto my bed and things were dropping everywhere. She also kept doing the same motion throughout the whole spa. She was very nice but technique just wasn’t it. Not worth the price at all I could’ve done this myself. Massage was good.

I come here once or twice a week and get the 2 hour deep tissue massage. I often choose May or Anne as my masseuse. Both are incredible but with different styles. May focuses on giving you a deep tissue massage, while Anne uses hot rocks for your massage. I usually go for the 2 hour massage because I train often in a week and it gives the masseuse more time to focus on different parts of your body. The business in itself is professional and efficient. I have not had any issues with the business in itself. It is usually smooth and respectful. I enjoy coming here because they treat me well and I would highly recommend this business to those looking for an excellent massage treatment for your body from head to toe.
