Algerian Embassy

Let me empty my heart in Algeria, and you will understand Alabali Camp. Zero, zero, four months. They forgot about my son’s passport. They didn’t send him a mimba. They didn’t return to us. They didn’t tell us.
I only know them so much that they wait and don't come back to defeat me
It's a disgrace, I swear to God, it's normal for them to make things easier for the community. I don't care about them. God brought me the consulate, so I'm going to be sent to the office, and I'm going to be sent to a residential bus.

There is no customer service whatsoever. The staff don't answer the phone, you can't leave a message and they don't reply to emails. Unprofessional! There is no need for this Embassy. Please shut your doors! This is called abuse of power, unethical practice, and violation of basic human right. How can they get away with it? This is downright abuse and should be denounced. What a DISGRACE! What a SHAME! Do we have to buy a ticket to come down to Ottawa to speak to someone? How ridiculous is this?

As a frequent traveler to Algeria, I want to pen down my thanks and gratitude to the Algerian Consulate Staff members at Ottawa, males and females for their dedicated work in serving the respectful Algerian Community and the international Community as well.
Thanks for their understanding and cooperation. I have seen firsthand that the work load on the staff at the consulate is huge and tremendous.
Despite the limitations of space and maybe the shortage of staff they were working nonstop trying to accommodate and serve all their visitors patiently in a selfless attitude and a timely manner.

Really strange, I am wondering if the consulate is still serving thru the phone or closed the doors! Tried to call for the last 2 months and in different time of the day, no one is picking the phone.

Bad service, all phones are not working, no body answer to our emails.so disappointed with that. The same issue for all Algerians leaving in Toronto. We need the minister of foreign affairs Algeria to do something and change the stuff to get help for our needs.

To be fair, they use to be very responsive at least before COVID. It has been 6 weeks trying to speak to someone over the phone or via emails to give us a status update about our passports renewal without any luck. We basically lost the opportunity to book our travel because of their delays. I will need to take a day off and travel to Ottawa just to ask about an update about our passports renewal request sent 6 weeks ago.
SHAME ON YOU, SHAME ON YOU, SHAME ON YOU! Bring the old Algeria back, please.
