If you're looking for friendly service and a fair price/business model, this is not the place for you.
From the moment I walked in I felt like a nuisance to one of the workers. They don't even offer to give you additional help or instruction for those who aren't experienced with attaching the Canoe to the car and she did her best to rush us out the door. Even when I drove back into the parking lot to return the Canoe, I saw this lady walk right past me without offering to help us bring the Canoe back.
Additionally, I understand there is written rules, but the fact that I picked up a canoe at 5 pm, and dropped it off at 11 AM (2 hours after they open) 2 days later, and still got charged for 3 full days is ridiculous. The total amount of time was 42 hours. It would be ridiculous to pay hourly but paying 3 days for 42 hours doesn't seem right to me.
In terms of the Canoes and supplies, Algonquin Bound did the job. Do note that the emergency whistle they supply you is not attached to the life jackets or inside the bag. It is a tiny cheap whistle that is a part of the bag (which we were not made aware of).
There's at least 2 other canoe rental places near south algonquin. If you have the extra 20 minutes for the drive. Go somewhere else.

Love this store. Very helpful for local places and canoe trips. Super clean and wonderful staff

Great and knowledgeable staff. Very friendly. We also got some some free cucumbers for out trip into the park.

When you rely on an Outfitter, attention to detail is a must. Our experience with Algonquin Bound was absolutely fantastic, and would use them again in a heartbeat.
