Ordered online. Packaging is very nice. Not crazy about the "personal message" label on the postcard chocolate. If I knew that the personal message was printed on an Avery mailing label, I would have opted out. Label looks cheap. That said, overall package is nice. The gingerbread chocolate is really flavourful.

The staff is as sweet as their chocolates. The designs on the packaging is always beautiful and my go to for gifts. A must visit if your in westboro

Be careful this chocolate can be extremely addictive. Ever since I received one of these chocolate bars as a gift, I haven’t stopped thinking about them. I ordered chocolate bars for myself and friends. I can’t wait to share!

One of my go-to places for gifts. The bonbons are beautiful and delicious, comes with attractive (and recyclable) packaging. Usually will have a wide selection of flavours to choose from. Always fun!

We came for the “Paint Your Own Easter Bunny” event and loved it! The event was fun, the hosts were super friendly, the chocolate was delicious, and we got a free hot chocolate each! Will definitely return for another event in the future.

I purchased a pack of 9 bonbons with 3 duplicates as they didn't have their normal inventory. I'm totally fine with that! I love tasting chocolate!

SO. We had the most fun discussing the experience around the chocolates rather than the actual flavors themselves. So, at worst, you'll have some engaging conversations if something is yummy or not.ranging from "I'd spit this out" to "wow, I actually like this one! " To us, it was Harry Potter Bertie Bott's jelly beans game. For us, that was our fun. Will I go back? Maybe but doubtful. Should you go? Absolutely yes.but read below!

Honey sour. I love honey yet I'd never try this bon bon again. My partner.she doesn't like honey but said "it's not bad. Not great. Not bad".

Earl Grey "uhm, no. I dont like this" "me neither. This should have been good! "

Champagne "ah OK, this is fine. I think. " "me? No, I'm not a champagne person but no, still not a fan" "agreed, meh! '

Pistachio: "oh, I like this one. It tastes like chocolate" "really? I actually really don't like this at all and I love pistacchio. " "yep! Am happy with this one. Maybe the best one yet. " I then got an odd look like I'm crazy. Shrugs.

Lavender. "Ugh, you sure about testing this one? It's going to be nasty" "here we go! " "OH wow, it's subtle. I like this" "me too! " "Hey, we agree on one! " High fives around!

Black current: "fruity! This is nice. Yeah, this is good. Hmm. Maybe too much of a good thing? No, no, i think this is ok" "Only OK? Fruity is great! "

Cotton candy: "please don't be too sweet, please don't be too sweet! Good! Not too sweet! Doesn't taste like cotton candy to me. You? " It's good, I like it.meh!

Love the Alicja Confections postcard bars! They're a perfect gift for all occasions and I love how many unique flavour combos they have.

I’ve been enjoying AC Chocolate every since I moved to Ottawa five years ago (in fact, it was one of my first Ottawa experiences.) I’ve enjoyed many different flavours and never found one I didn’t like (even though they get pretty weird.) I love sending them out as gifts but more likely, enjoying the postcard chocolate bars myself. High-quality chocolate so it’s more expensive than your every day chocolate bar but not near as expensive as similar high-end brands, and worth every penny to support local, ethical (and delicious) chocolate.

This is such a fancy and aesthetic chocolate store and I’m so here for it! Love the vibe of this place, its colours and especially the chocolates are so gorgeous! We got two cotton candies (which are the softest and tastiest we’ve had!), unique flavoured chocolate bars, as well as a half dozen box of bonbons (that are absolutely stunning)! Definitely go check this place out if you’re in the area so good!

First time there. The chocolates are all made in store. They have a great selection of chocolates. One of the chocolates I got had pop rocks on it. It was really good. Very friendly staff. They also have a selection drinks there that I'll have to try the next time we go.

I ordered quite a few different items and everything arrived packaged very well and perfect. I live in Edmonton, Alberta. Everything was DELICIOUS and beautiful, and smelled so good. Its like eating art imo.

The chocolate discs were a lot smaller than anticipated but not disappointing in the least. The dragees are my new favorite thing. I've never even heard of the term before now. Honestly quality over quantity is the way to go, and Alicja Confections is top quality. The bonbons are meant to be slowly eaten and savored. Take your time, and experience the flavors. They are unique and amazing.

I'm a chocolateaholic and trying to get away from eating cheap stuff, so finding this gem of a company makes me happy. This stuff is an absolute treat! Thank you Alicja and Co! You made me very happy!

My only request would be if you could try to include a little info card on what type chocolate bon bons are in the box. It doesn't need to be fancy, even a simple printed list. I understand the flavors always change. I just really would like to know what I'm enjoying.

First time customer and I ordered their Black Friday mystery box. Love the packaging for it! I don't like to eat nuts, but their milk chocolate-covered peanuts were so smooth and literally melted in your mouth! Love their chocolate, and the postcards are adorable! Will definitely be purchasing again.

I was really looking forward to my wasabi chocolate bars. But was very disappointed when they finally arrived and I tried a piece. Sure, the dark chocolate is lovely. But NO wasabi flavor at all! It was just like a plain chocolate bar. I’ve had supermarket chili chocolate with great flavor by comparison. I tried a second piece, and still NO WASABI flavor at all. I should give it 2 stars but the chocolate part is good. Just not what I wanted or expected.

UPDATE: I finished one bar. Out of all of it I got two bites where I could taste the wasabi with a little tingling on the tip or side of my tongue. It could have been so good!

UPDATE 2: I opened the second bar, and OMG I could smell the wasabi! And it was as good as I expected when I ordered them. Perfect amount of wasabi. Very well done! I don’t know what the deal was with the first bar, but had they both been like this one I would say 5 stars without question. Yum.

How often can you meet the makers of your chocolates and watch them make your favourite stuff in front of you?

Alicja puts her heart and soul into every new flavour, new idea and you know what? It shows!

The not-mainstream-at-all but brilliant chocolate flavours - my favourite being the ramen and the potato chips. How long before they're copied?

Her continuing conversation with her fans and customers are her trademark - she *does* listen and she does want all to feel about chocolate like she does. Good for her, it takes a loooot of time and energy - believe you me, I know.

Personally, I can only wish for more young talents like hers in our beloved city! ️‍
