Alioli Ristorante

One of the best Italian restaurants in Mississauga. The seafood platter and salad were good starters. The Rigatonni Alla Boscaila was rich and creamy, and the Vitello Alioli was very tender and flavorful. However, the service could have been better as the servers were not attentive.

We had a dinner in Alioli today. Amazing food but poor service. Discriminating staff. Very bad experience.

The Rigitoni and the sauce and cheese was really good. Great service and everything tasted very fresh.

We arrived for a work function and had the most amazing service and Italian food. The swordfish was superb.
Looking forward to going back again soon.

Solid restaurant experience! The food was delicious and our server was also fantastic. Really loved the Burrata appetizer, but I wish we hadn’t gotten it because the quantity of the pasta was more than enough. The tiramisu is FANTASTIC as well

Do NOT order for delivery. I’ve been to the restaurant, and ordered for delivery a lot over the last 10 years. While the food is good and the restaurant is beautiful, the portions you get for delivery get smaller and smaller. The charcuterie platter for example, has changed and isn’t worth $39. We realize the cost of everything has gone up but it doesn’t warrant ripping off your delivery customers.

So we finally decided to give this restaurant a try. The ambience is okay and the staff is very helpful and attentive. This restaurant is a bit popular and the sitting is a bit closer than most restaurants I’ve seen, I guess to maximize the capacity of course.

Now on to the food review. For starters we ordered Crab Cakes & a Seafood Platter. The Crab Cakes were okay, loved the hint of saffron in their aioli sauce. I enjoyed the Seafood Platter…. The poached octopus simply melted in your mouth.   The cajun shrimp was also a hit in this appetizer platter.

For main, we ordered the Spaghetti Pescatore, Orecchiette Al Forno, Osso Buco & Agnello. First the Spaghetti Pescatore…. This dish was served generously and I just enjoyed the combination of the shrimp, clamair and mussels. I did not somehow notice the crab legs but then again I guess it melted in the mix. The light basil tomato sauce in this spaghetti was refreshing. My daughter liked here Orecchiette Al Forno as she loves mozzarella cheese. The Bolognese sauce was tasty complemented the pasta oh so well. This dish may look light but it is very filling.

The wife had the Osso Buco…. Which I think is by far the best dish we had that evening. If you love centre cut veal shank……this is the dish for you. The portion size is generous and literally melts in your mouth. I just cant get enough of the taste. The risotto was okay but I would preferred it more moist. Nonetheless, the Osso Buco is highly recommended!

Lastly, my dish…. The Agnello. My only complaint is that I expected a bigger rack of lamb. However, this dish is also recommended. I enjoyed the grainy mustard and pistachio on the portions, nothing overpowering…. Just right.

The dessert was basically the main attraction if you ask me……we ordered the Tiramisu, Cheescake & Crème Brulee. I know that most places have the same cookie-cutter dessert menu but it all boils down to taste. The Tirmisu had espresso dipped cookies in them, giving it that coffee kick during mid bite, classic Italian. The cheesecake was creamy and our had an assortment of berries on top…. Simply refreshing. My go-to dessert is always the crème brulee. That crackly, crunch and caramelized sugar on top really preps the palate for that creamy custard underneath. You need to order your coffee whenever you have Crème Brulee.

It’s a bit pricey but I do believe you get your money’s worth on this one. Good food and excellent staff……thanks for the experience Alioli. Definitely recommended!

Dirty Gin Martini tasted the best I have had in a long time. The Lamb was cooked just right along with the fresh pasta. I would recommend EVERYONE to visit.

Great restaurant for Italian food. The location is convenient, has ample parking available, and the seating is great - both patio and indoor were well set up with great ambience. Food was great tasting - we were a group of 8 and everyone enjoyed the food. A bit on the pricey side and I hope they add more vegetarian options.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding with a beautiful reception dinner here. Everyone here cares about your experience. The food is delicious and well seasoned. It was amazing working with the owners to plan and set up the event and food. They take care of you and make you feel like you are a part of the family. The waitstaff are attentive and courteous to every desire smiling and engaging guests. The restaurant has an indoor section with nice tapestry and moldings accentuated with a large window to let in shaded light and a bar. The other section is an outdoor patio that can shade and block wind. We rented out the patio for our party and it can seat near 50 guests comfortably. An extensive wine list here that can accommodate a seasoned taste or a casual drinker. Once again the food is excellent and I highly recommend this restaurant.

I’ve been to Alioli a handful of times and the food is always amazing. I decided to bring my mom here on a Friday evening for dinner and she absolutely loved the food. The seafood platter is so delicious! I always tend to get the mushroom risotto because it’s my favourite dish here. It would be nice if they had an option to add truffle shavings. The burrata and sea bream pictured were specials for that evening. Everything was spectacular! Service is also friendly and attentive.

Great service, beautiful decor. Felt like like vacation vibes, piping hot dishes. Not the best in the GTA as far as Italian cuisine goes, but very good. Happy to finally dine here, happy 25 years plus in the area

I went there for dinner as a guest there was around 50 of us for a baptism celebration I've never been there before but the service was excellent and the food very very good would recommend it to anybody

There is a server, Noel, ask for him. He will make your dining experience even better. The place is amazing as I have been coming here for many years and has never disappointed me.its a place for fine dining.

Not the best food. The seafood was old and over cooked and the day’s special pasta had too much salt. Incredibly overpriced for the quality of the food. Amazing dessert though. They also didn’t us for the food that they took away so good service overall.

The best tasting italian Resturant in Mississagua. You could feel the freshness of each ingredient. The staff treated me as a vip. Price is totally justified. The outside terrace is nicely sheltered from the elements. And the ambient music was warming and non intrusive at a great volume. Please visit this establishment.

The food was outstanding. I was very pleased with the wine as well. Unfortunately though, although I had reserved in advance for a 30th Anniversary dinner, there was no table for me. I had even explained on the phone that maybe we could have a good table as I wanted it to be special. He said to remind the person as we were being seated. When we arrived and I gave my name the host said no, there was no reservation. I assured him that I had in fact called and had received a confirmation email. He again said no then asked my name again. He then said oh yes but 'our name' had been seated. I was a bit shocked and he said no worries and proceeded to seat us by the door with not much of an apology. It wasn't a good feeling.

My first time dining at this family run Italian Restaurant. The ambience and decor was great. It was a Wednesday night and the restaurant was filled - I recommend making reservations. There were a lot of huge parties which speaks highly of the restaurant.
The service staff was attentive and knowledgeable.
There is a wide selection of options and daily specials that’s are not on the menu.
I don’t usually have that much seafood but the seafood platter was exceptional. The octopus was the best I have tasted - it was fresh, full of flavour and the texture was enjoyable.
The cream sauce for the pasta dishes are freshly made, rich, and flavourful.
I found it very strange that they do not offer complimentary bread. I actually was disappointed about that.
The restaurant is a little on the costly side but I will revisit here in the future when I am on this side.

Last night was phenominal! The service is beyond excellent, Noel was perfect. We have been raving and ranting all day about how perfect Alioli is. The lamb and chicken were delicious, and the mushroom risotto! We are very thankful for the night we had, and look forward to book more parties with you. Thank you, Alioli Ristorante.

My husband and I went here as a guest for a wedding reception dinner. All I can say is the service was amazing. The food was amazing! From starter, pasta, main and dessert. Highly recommend for an initmate event.

A seafood, home made linguini. Two color linguini, one side regular pasta the other with cuttlefish black ink. Unique.

Good decor, very good food based on the feedback from group I was with. Limited vegetarian options and/or desire to customize as per need of vegetarians. For example bread, potatoes, grilled pineapples are available only as part of starter with meat plate.

First time dining at Alioli for a big celebration! I'm happy to say that we had a fantastic time! The atmosphere was so wonderful, we had a live saxophone player which definitely set the mood just right. The food was absolutely amazing! Served fresh and was delicious. Authentic Italian Dishes. Massimo, Tony and really the whole team were great, especially for accommodating a large group. Our server Tony was extremely attentive and friendly. I will be coming back to dine again! Amazing food and service overall. Highly recommended!

First time at Alioli Ristorante. Due to it being Wave 6 (with high numbers in the ICU), we were cautious and got take out only (via Door Dash). We were nearby, so we walked to pick up our order which was completed in 15 min. On a Friday night at 6pm, it was not busy. There was a table in the dining area, and another party waiting to be seated. No staff was masked. At the door, we were greeted promptly by the host warmly, and a server came out to take my name and return inside to grab our well-packaged order. We ordered 2 items: Ravioli Di Funghi (Risotto E Pasta), and the Seafood Platter for 2 (Insalate and Antipasti). Both were delicious! The ravioli was a generous portion with 5 big pieces and lots of rose sauce (it was a thick and tasty sauce, unlike any rose sauce I've ever had!). The seafood platter had octopus, calamari, shrimp and crab cake on a small bed of greens and veggies. We were happy with the first experience. Look forward to trying more of the menu!

February 2012 I had my wedding here, my wedding party with my family and the he let us listen to music and the bill was about $1,000 or $1,300 for about 13 people and he let us smoke inside he let us choose whatever music we wanted he was very friendly he was so kind to us he let us do whatever you wanted let us pick whatever music we wanted. It was an amazing experience

Omg tasty as hell food. Loved loved it. Loved their service and hospitality. Accommodated us on Valentine's Day without a reservation. Nicest restaurant with yummiest food.

The food was great, but I was not happy with the service I received. When I specified we didn't drink alcohol, the waiter did not offer other non-alcoholic drinks. So I asked what else there was, and he says "juice. " I thought he was making a joke, but he just stares at me in silence. I proceeded to ask.what else? He said juice & pop. After, he didn't seem too interested in serving our table as alcohol is where the big money is at. There's a lot more to it, but I'm not going to rant. I have been known to tip extremely handsomely, however, I settled with a 5% tip. Which is the lowest I've ever given. If I do go back, which is unlikely, I will simply ask for a new server.

This is our favourite Italian restaurant in Mississauga. Our family has been celebrating most of our birthdays and milestones here for over 20 years. We absolutely love the tiramisu and other desserts, salads, pizzas, risottos and pastas at Alioli. There are lots of vegetarian options and gluten-free options as well. The service here is excellent and we have seen the same people working here for decades so they always remember our names and what we like to eat.

Good experience, good food, and ok service. It took too long to get our food, it can happen I get it, not every dish is the same, but 3 tables that ordered after us got their food before us.

Alioli is really one of the finest restaurants in Mississauga when it comes to food, service and ambience. The restaurant does not pretend to be anything but good place for food and service. Its casual for you will not stand out if you are here for a dinner date or special occasion dinner. The food is authentic and specials are always a great decision. The wine list is exceptional and you just can't say enough about the service at this place. We enjoyed a fine lunch recently with delicious pasta and tasty sea food platter. The servers are amazing gentlemen that have been here for a very long time. If you are thinking of coming here for lunch or dinner, do not hesitate.you will enjoy your time here.

MOST STAFF ARE UNPROFESSIONAL (REALLY RUDE AND UNPLEASANT ENVIRONMENT!). WHEN YOU ARE WAITING IN THE FRONT, THE STAFF NOTICED YOU FOR AWHILE, AND COMPLETELY IGNORED YOU! YOU WAIT FOR A LOMG TIME FOR SERVICE! THE STAFF DON'T GIVE EVERYTHING OF WHAT THE CUSTOMER ORDER, THEY FORGET FEW ITEMS, AND ESPECIALLY THEY BLAME THE CUSTOMER FOR THEIR MISTAKES! I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND EATING AT THIS PARTICULAR RESTAURANT!

Excellent services. Authentic Italian dishes. The only difference from our experiences in Italy was we were given the bread after we sat down. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere was amazing, great choice of music. The chicken and lamb are halal which is great. Waitress was nice and understanding. The Rosemary Focaccia and the crab cake were great for appetizer. The shrimp gnocchi was an amazing starter. For main course the salmon and chicken were cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. The garnishes complimented food very well. One of the best places in the GTA, be ready to spend big dollars.

Great staff, even better food! Calamari and Tiramisu are a must try before you die lol. Coming back again for sure!

I ordered the Spaghetti Pescatore and the eggplant parmesan. The spaghetti was one of the most expensive dishes on the menu, and it wasn't very flavorful, and the seafood wasn't very fresh. The eggplant Parmesan was also incredibly small. It also tasted like it was fried in rancid oil. The best part of my meal was the $6 focaccia. Won't be ordering again.

I had my daughter's baptism lunch at Alioli on October 17th. Massimo, Tino and all of the staff were amazing! They went the extra mile and were super attentive towards all of our guests. All of the food was fresh, delicious and of the very best quality. I highly recommend Alioli if you are looking for high quality food and service!

Really nice atmosphere l the patio is large and tables spaced out for COVID requirements. Pasta is delicious and portions are perfect. It is a higher class restaurant unlike chain restaurants. Recommended for dates

Went there to celebrate my son's birthday last week. The food was delectable and they made a dish off the menu for my son. I told the server that they have just gained a customer from the next generation! From the reception to the server, Alioli has a wonderful homespun environment. We had a business dinner at Alioli recently and it was excellent! Our server, Noel, was fantastic and the food was exceptional. If you're looking for a nice place for a special dinner out or business occasion I highly recommend it. I hope to visit again soon!

Wouldn't recommend, service absolutely top notch, and it ends there, food is not at all fine dining, we ordered margurita pizza as appetizer and I've eaten better from Dr Oetker.
Sea food platter was just ok nothing i can't do better at home, felted like i was in a restaurant from 90's, i would suggest a revamping of menu.

This is a good little spot to go to for a romantic dinner, or for special occasions. The staff at this restaurant are mature, kind, and friendly which is always appreciated. Their food is pretty good too.

The food and ambience is amazing. It would be my all time go to restaurant if the prices were less otherwise it's a great restaurant.

Service was not the best. Waiter got our order wrong multiple times. Food was ok. $45 for of rack lamb was not justified. We were a group of 6 and gratiudy included in bill and did not tell us.ended up leaving a double tip! The waiter must of loved us for that. Screwing up our orders and receiving a handsome tip! Will not go back.

Warm, delightful wait staff. Dishes fresh and delicious. My favourites are the grilled calamari salad, and their penne alioli. Tiramisu is perfect. Have been many times in 20+ years and the food and service is consistently high quality. Lovely ambience.

Such a nice cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, lovely live music, plus amazing Italian dishes! It felt warm and familiar. The desserts were light but heavenly, the melt in your mouth type! Highly recommended!

Our evening visit was as part of a seniors fine dining outing. The waiters were personable and attentive although the group size did impact on the slightly longish wait time for the arrival of the main courses. The Caesar salad got a two thumbs up from those who ordered it as did the chicken dish which I found exceptionally scrumptious as were the accompanying vegetables cooked to al dente perfection.

We went for mother's day what disappointed was they change the price on the menu without any notice on the web site.you make reservations and they give the menu with new price.food was not impress.sorry but we won't be back there.

I loved the limited seating with an abundance of servers. This creates the perfect ambiance of seclusion and the beginning of a rich dining experience. The food was fantastic, I went there for lunch, I can't say enough about the food, it was excellent and reasonably priced for an upscale restaurant.

Went once and now I'm hooked. Pasta specials are always incredible. Service is unlike any other in mississauga! Just traditional excellence all around. See you next week!

The food is fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, especially on their beautiful unique wines. Atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. A perfect dining location for either lunch or dinner. It's one of our personal favourite spots. Their in house made bread is yummy. The also accommodate food allergies with concern and grace.

I took my Mom here for her birthday dinner this past week, it was our first experience at Alioli. The restaurant itself is very elegant and beautiful. The waiters/host were friendly, knowledgeable and quick with their service. We got the fried calamari to start, which was lightly dusted in corn flower. I thought they were perfectly cooked (my mom isn't a huge seafood fan, though she likes fried calamari, she thought they were slightly undercooked) not stringy but tender and the batter, if you can even call it that, was so light and crisp. The waiter said they soak the calamari in milk before frying, which makes them so tender. The dish came with calamari rings, tentacles, and to my surprise, big juicy shrimp! Will definitely have another order when I return. We then got Insalata Argula, which was very light and refreshing, though i think a little too light on the dressing. The portion was big enough to share. We also shared two entrees: My mom got the Rigatoni Rustica, which was so good. The sauce was not too rich, but cheesey and delightful at the same time. Would definitely get that again. I got a special, which was pappardelle with boar in a tomato sauce. That was only okay. For dessert, they brought over a complimentary tiramisu- which was great. I'm not usually a huge fan, but this one seemed home made. All in all- we will absolutely be back!

One of the best Italian restaurants around. This place is authentic, delicious, and staff and knowledgeable, friendly and prompt. Everytime we dine here its a great dining experience.

I had my 20th birthday dinner here last weekend. I had a party of 24 people. The food was great! The service was great! Everything went very smooth, way better then expected. Everyone had a great time and no one had anything negative to say. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Food was a 5, service was not up to par.

We had a working lunch at Alioli and I had 3 guests joining me. It started going down hill when we ordered a bottle of "house" wine Valpolicella, and this house wine was apparently sold out and they brought a different bottle to the table, and proceeded to spill it over the table and my guest. Accidents happen and I get that, but what I can't understand is how charging me full price for that same bottle makes any sense to anyone.

In my opinion, good customer service would look like this.

We will DEFINITELY cover the cost of dry cleaning your blouse, maybe can we get you a desert or coffee on the house, and we CERTAINLY wont charge you for the bottle of wine we spilled all over the table and you.

We attended a baptism dinner party at Alioli, the food was fabulous! The service was incredible, they were very attentive and made sure everyone was happy. Highly recommend this restaurant!

We just went there couple of days ago and it was truly spectacular! There was a live music which was fantastic! And the food! OMG! !
I ordered the Vitello & my husband ordered the special dish for that day, it was pasta with lobester meat & shrimps.both plates were absolutely delicious! Then we ordered both the trimasu & hazelnt afogato. PHENOMENAL!
It’s on the expensive side, but with that service, the food & the music.u should definitely give it a try.

Staff was excellent! Food was average. Wine selection could be better. Coffee and latte was like warm. Will I go there again? Maybe.just fir service. But then again, it is pretty expensive for just good service. Will think about it.

I love mushroom ravioli, plain and simple. Following a recent work sting in Los Angeles and falling in love with the portobello ravioli at Cantalini's Salerno Beach in Playa del Rey, I embarked on a mission to find a dish similar to that in the Greater Toronto Area. After a long and mostly unsuccessful search, I found this restaurant - directly across from where I live. Finally found my way there on a Saturday night and I was not disappointed. The ravioli was fabulous. So was the pepper sauce it's served with. I'll most certainly be back. Considered coming here for the NYE dinner but the prix fixe dinner does not offer this dish so I'll have to try again another time.

The restaurant is located on the street level of an office building and finding parking is easy, in the building's parking lot, but I bet your experience may vary depending on time of day and day if the week.
